It’s 2am, just got done watchin the whole video. Peaceful. Simple. Yet so much knowledge. Videos like this make me miss thee ol UA-cam (10years ago or so), back when there was more raw and genuine content like this. Keep on keepin on buddy ol pal, Great video!!
Thats awesome! You where probably the first viewer to finish the video lol. It was taking forever to upload and I fell asleep. Yeah your right about raw content, some of my favorite youtube content is low budget stuff. Glad to hear you enjoyed it and thanks!
Prayers going your way my friend with Milton heading your way. Was suppose to fly to Cape Canaveral for work this Wednesday, but got pushed until the weekend. Keep your head down and stay safe!!!
Yes Sir, Thanks Thomas! So far its going to pass just under me which is still not good. I'm hoping it trends further south for my shops sake. But its surely gonna be a tougher one. I have all the windows covered and doing the best I can to prepare. Fingers crossed!
Should see if he will record it firing up and send it to u and u could add it at the end of this video... just a suggestion i think it would be kool to see it run
That would be cool. I usually like to include the first start at the end but with this one being sent out I cant. But can I add a video clip thats sent to me to the end of this video once its uploaded? This I dont know. I will have to look into it. Still trying to figure out this youtube stuff lol😆
Thank you sir. Hoping for the best. Its aimed right at me as we speak. Once I know where its going exactly then I will know what side of the house and shop to setup the best I can to handle the winds and debris. Surely a little nervous
Little bit off topic but I have a little bit of rust in my spark plug well on a yzf 250 was wondering the best way to get rid of it? Without removing the cylinder and cleaning it good enough that I can replace the spark plug without worrying about rust going into the cylinder head…thanks
I use a air nozzle connected to my air compressor with a longer tip like the one seen in this link... www.walmart.com/ip/5Pcs-Air-Compressor-Nozzle-Tip-Inflation-Blower-Air-UpTip/3897586259 I get it up in the spark plug hole and blow out as much as I can before I remove the spark plug. You can also spray some WD40 in the hole and then spray all that out to help clean it out. You might not be able to make it look perfect but you can get it clean enough so when you remove the spark plug nothing is getting into the cylinder.
My yz 125 head studs when torqued down the 3 old ones I didn’t replace sit all the same height then 2 I replaced one sits lower then them and one sits higher
@@JenMcCausland Yes, but as they get down torward the bottom the threads start getting choppy. Some will take more torque to go down further and some will take less.
So you're putting the Rings in at the minimum and if that thing gets hot and expands and that ring sticks then you're sunk why not go just a one size bigger that way you're safe
Hello. Rings binding due to not enough ring gap is something I hardly ever run into. And the few times I have seen it was in cast iron bored cylinders. Im totally comfortable setting the rings on the tight end of the specs keeping in mind after break in they ring end gap will increase a good amount anyway.
No really sure but I think they are going to be adding a ECU on it as well. My guess would be about 3 to 4 HP and a good amount of extra torque with the bigger bore.
Watching you torque the head down it looks to me like your torque wrench might be off maybe you should look into buying a good torque wrench just saying
Hello. I do have other torque wrenches and sometimes compare them to see if they are close for a quick check. I also have a way to check the exact torque of the wrench and adjust it if needed. I will check this torque wrench probably this week and see if any adjustment is needed.

Maybe spray paint that magnet a different color so its not black. That thing blend right in with all those black wires on a bike.
😂😂
Honda timing chains will outlast time itself....Yamaha timing chains make it one top end is done on time.
yup. even worse with heavy duty springs required for kibble white stainless valves.

Have you ever checked the depth of the hone marks on these new cylinders I wonder how deep they are
No I never have.
