Please keep these videos on the Fantom coming, it would be great if there were enough demonstration videos to practically replace the manual, as videos are the best way to show off the features, which is also the best way to market the product, thanks!

agree 1000 percent! I have learned so much from the Fantom videos....I have already read the owners manual, the reference manual, and have watched all of these excellent videos by ED DIAZ, and I don't even own the keyboard yet!!! lol.....I am waiting for another update or two, before I take the plunge: I want to see them make some more additions and improvements to the sequencer, specifically, and I know they are going to add yet even more SN sounds....I would rather wait for this, instead of having to do several updates, which I personally never find easy......would rather purchase it with all the latest updates are already in the machine...

Please add the capability to do this via the Computer. Zenology Pro should have the send to FANTOM feature built into it.

Roland needs to incorporate a true import function that allows us to convert-load our soundbank files from older Roland synths.

I wish you could just connected to the zenlogy and drag and drop from your daw … i’ve done all that menu diving in the 90s it’s 2022 now I think that should be possible

What’s the point of this. How about showing us how to import our thousands of patches from our Fantom X and XV and other legacy Roland synths. Roland really needs to address this serious shortcoming in the new Fantom.

I'm still confused why importing new tones, expansions etc doesn't just select the next available slot automatically. Having them scattered across when browsing single tones make it hard to keep things organized - and impossible to find unless you know the name to search for. This especially applies to when you batch import expansions or tones - and have no idea where they are located afterwards without searching.

Ed, I am thinking of changing from my workhorse FA-06 to the 61 key Fantom-6. I am a working musician so I have hundreds of patches and performances/studios....can I import from the FA to the Fantom so I don’t have to recreate all of this work?

No you can’t. This is a huge drawback in the new Roland Fantom. No way to import all your legacy patches. Bad flaw. You need to start from scratch reprogramming all your favorite Roland patches.
