The core of your audience that has found you and desires a fair look at world events that the news media wants to filter for us, will always be patient with your life events and the time off that is required, just like all of us in our own lives and careers. Thanks for all you do. You have a special place in our hearts because of your honesty and your best attempt to get the information right. I should have invested in a salt mine because of how many ‘grains of salt’ you recommend people take with the information that comes out of this war and others lol. Have a great week.

Who remembers the exuberance of the West in the first months of the war? Who still remembers the sickening joy of images of dead Russian soldiers? Who still remembers the analysis of "military experts" about the imminent collapse of the Russian army? Who still remembers what was said then: the military defeat of the Russian Federation, the replacement of the Russian leader by the puppet of the West, the division of Russia into independent republics, the plundering of Russia's resources by NATO members and the elimination of Russia from the list of states with potential regional geostrategic power? Willy, do you remember when you were the trumpet of American and European discourse? Do you remember that you did not mention at all the deep causes that led to this conflict? You never invited Professor Mearsheimer, Scott Ritter, Prof Jeffrey Sachs, Stephen Walt, Alex Mercouris, Lawrence Wilkerson, Ray McGovern, Douglas Macgregor, Seymour Hersh, Caroline Galacteros, Xavier Moreau, Jacques Sapir, Emmanuel Todd. You should do yourself a favor and invite ex-Swiss colonel Jacques Baud to a discussion on military matters regarding the Russian military…my two cents

Russia would be insane to agree to any settlement without Odessa, I highly doubt they would ever agree to such a thing. That's the main Russian city they want back. Very strategic too
It has happened before - in September 1829, Russian forces had practically destroyed the Ottoman armies and were stationed at Edirne, 240 km from Constantinople (Istanbul) - to Russians, the heart of the Eastern Roman Empire, from which they trace their statehood. There would have been little military resistance, yet Nicholas I decided not take the city and signed a peace treaty with Mahmud II.
If any type of an agreement is to be made, there must be the rule of NO MORE MILITARY for Ukraine PERIOD😔
Odessa = 🇷🇺.

Ukraine (USA) propaganda is laughable
11:50 Elon is fully right. It's bloody obvious that in a war of attrition, Russia has the upperhand - it has about 4 times the population and 6 times the military production of Ukraine. If Ukraine loses its access to the black sea, it will be truly catastrophic. It's extremely unlikely Ukraine will ever be able to re-conquer the lost territory, and the question is whether it's even worth it - In Crimea, for instance, the majority of the population is pro-Russian. It's *high time* to start peace-negotiation and get a diplomatic solution to this conflict, BEFORE they lose access to the black sea.
If Ukraine is completely defeated in the field they will be forced to unconditionally surrender. There wont be any talk of reconquering lost areas, they will be annexed.
Ukraine should have taken the deal early on in the war. Now that the West has shown its true face the Russians know that they have no one of good faith to negotiate with. They're going to have to take Odessa, at least.
They r going to end up with their original borders of 1654.......at this rate.....look at the map
Chances of Russia falling apart or changing paths is like next to zero, save what is left of the country and your future generations. Come back from with high birth rates and high technology. It's the only way to recover from this obviously one sided war. They blooded Russians nose enough to work something out at the table.
Ukraine doesn’t produce anything bigger than a rifle round . It’s all imported
Air defence for Ukraine... " Artificially limited"? Wtf? I think you meant to say artificially propped up by the West.
Thank you! It irritates me so much that people look at it all backwards.
For an artificial system it keeps the Russian air force at bay.
Yeah, it requires some pro level mental gymnastics to say Ukraine only free having access to most of NATO's arsenal is an "artificial limitation".
@16:00 The initial attack on Kiev was designed, primarily, to bring Ukraine to the negotiating table. In that regard it was successful. As part of the negotiations and as a sign of good faith, Russia willingly withdrew from many of those territories it initially captured.
And then the british came, say "no deal! To the last ukranian" and the rest is history.
Yeah the ukrainbots always overlook this and say they never got there. Hilarious.
You'd better to listen what Grikin (author of Donbass war) told about it. They indead wanted Ukraine to capitulate, but they didn't have intend to negoiation, they wanted to put Yanukovych as a president. And god knows what else they would do. Because they expected blitskrig they simply created a giant jams on roads of their military wehecles which were easily destroyed by jawelins and nlaws. They simply became trapped. most of the roads behind them were not secured and people stopped logistic by simply cutting trees. Every civilian reported their locations. That is a forest-swamp regions in contrast to Donbass. End if they had been there for a longer period it would be even harder because of green leaves. Also they failed to capture Gostomel airport (which had to be a key for capturing Kyiv) and didn't have enogh forces to capture such big city as Kyiv. That is the reason they left.
I doubt Patriots can intercept hypersonic missiles.
How dare you doubt the Ukrainian propaganda, your nothing but and extremist
The "hypersonic missle" that Russia claims to have developed is a lie. Air launched ballistic missiles that can't change course at high speeds are not the product they told everyone they had.
I don't. But the hit probably is low though.
Totally agree. No evidence whatsoever has been filmed. All Western jealous and speculation.😮

Okay, just a thought about the video of the T90 being taken out: as far as I know, T90M has a fully armored carousel for the autoloader, and all the loose ammunition is moved to blow off compartments to the back of the turret, so theoretically it shouldn't do that, thats why when we see a knocked out T90M, it generally still has its turret on, so something else had to be going on there.
Maybe the Russian crew had loose ammunition in there because they were in the process of loading the carousel? But then again considering the way it was very conveniently sitting there with all its hatches open, it could be a T90M that the Ukrainians had captured that had broken down, and the Ukrainians didn't have parts for, so they just rigged it to blow for propaganda purposes.
That t-90m was sent to the US
Yeah, those "hatch open"-videos just always taste staged. Especially with the pretty obvious lack of crew in or around the vehicle.

Since the war started Ukraine has recieced about $200 billion. You could pave a road to the moon and back with $100 bills. Ukraine is a bottomless pit. 2yrs ago a 155mm artillery shell was $2.000. Now the same shell $10.000. It's called capitalism or making money ?
War in general is about making money

They used NATO-supplied weapons to shell Belgorod, so Elensky's blabbering about using local production is a lie. Ukraine attacked Russian energy facilities and the response knocked Ukraine's grid out. Whatever Ukraine decides to do to Russia, Russia can do much worse to Ukraine. They should negotiate (in good faith) as soon as possible when there is something left from Ukraine as AFRF are on the move and that is even before any Russian offensive.
Whether or not Ukraine wants to negotiate now, Russia despite the hints, will not unless it has met its strategic goals and then only if demands are met. I doubt very much it will be Russia reaching out based on all that has happened.
i met a few young Ukranians in bangkok . let's be clear , They are a pretty proud people who think very highly of themselves and very low of the russians . They really dislike Russians to the point that they do know the usa is using them but even USA is the lesser of the 2 evils .

Amen Willy - Family first, always. No explanation necessary. All the best to you and your family.
Always interesting to hear your analysis.
Them attacking Belgorod is not positive, as they are hit back with force. No way was that "field" trip in to Belgorod worth losing many power plants etc. Russia makes 10-20 Kizhals per month, did we see even 50 launched? Nope... So that means they were/are holding back a lot of firepower. I think that if F16 come in go Ukraine, they will flatten them and a mile around.
Exactly.. sometimes I think the Ukrainian take their intel from BBC and the SUN (who tells people that Russia has run out of missiles/ammunition)
They are holding back in case NATO gets directly involved. Then the West will wonder "but Ukraine said they shoot down 6 out of 3 missiles, how can we fail to shoot them down now!"
Problem with F16 is they can carry nuclear ordinance. If Russia decides to react to that possibility things could go very bad very fast for humanity.
How do you know secret production numbers of Russian materiel? When did Russia strike the first Ukrainian power plant?
@@vilandar Not so secret, Kizhals are "old", so you get many numbers from before the Ukraine conflict so it's more realistic. When did they strike the first PP? You probably know, but I the last batch that I am referring to was after the Belgorod attacks. The biggest Russian retaliation always comes after big Ukranian Russia attacks (Crimea bridge, sunken ships, Belgorod..)
Air defense is "artificially limited" by a lack of US supply? What does this mean?
I missed your updates. I'm sorry you're going thru it right now. Be careful out there mate

Ukrainian pay and retirements should not be part of the aid packages. That is one of the main line items i have trouble with. Lend lease all ya want but paying pensions? No. If you cant pay those basics yourself then you need to sue for piece I am sry. Its just delaying the inevitable if you are 100% reliant on non allies.
Well at least you draw the line somewhere.
My view is that if a country can't support itself in war, it should not participate in war. Ukraine needs to beg for peace and stop being NATO's puppet.
@@drutter we both know that is unlikely unless Russia gets to the Dnipro. And I agree Ukraine should do whats best for itself, I do feel rather guilty knowing the CIA has once again caused a coup and a land war. But Putin took the bait should have kept up the shadow war.
@@drutter Then how in the god damn fuck is a country supposed to defend itself? Russia is the agressor, so Ukraine needs to defend itself. Simple as that. What would you do if your country was invaded by a fascist dictator?
@@drutter by this logic you have full right to capture another country just because you are bigger and you will be right after that. And smaller country which protects itself will be ashamed if it asks for help. Russia also don't fight alone. They have a giant supplement from Iran and North Korea.
Estonia has several times larger GDP per person than Russia. Is it able to protect itself against Russia? Nope. But according to your logic it simply should beg for peace with Russia.
Budapest memorandum my friend.
@@SamtheIrishexan Could you please explain to me how exactly CIA made a coup? It is interesting to me who was there and understand why people went there. Original protest melted and on November 30 there was just small group of students. It was almost over. And Yanukovych ordered to brutally beat them as an instrument of threttening. Was you gf being beaten on your eyes and you had nothing to do with it or you being beaten on her eyes? And it caused massive protests. Did CIA asked Yanukovych to do that? Even after that protests were massive but not violent for about 2 months. In response Yanukovych just continued what it did and put people in jail for protests. Captured protestors were often tortured for example underssed in the winter. Instead of trying to negotiate with people he forced fully controlled parliament to accept laws which legalized his dictatorship. You are Irishman and wasn't born in post-soviet countriy led by dictator (who was several times in prison for robbering and beating people and a member of mafia clan) and monopolized courts and parliament. Great reporting, best wishes to ya fam
Don’t apologize for being a decent human being.
18:06 - Yeah, but there is a difference between "Russian defences just outside of Ukrainian borders" vs oil refineries in Russia.
Remember, many of Russia's energy infrastructure is also nuclear energy, do you want them to strike those? Or hell, even worse by accident a nuclear or WMD weapon being made there in secret? (We know for example like with Windscale in the UK, many times these nuclear facilities are claimed to make energy, but then makes nuclear weapons)
And also, there was already a wheat shortage in the world. Anyone who takes a moment to check would realise Russia is the number one exporter of wheat in the world:
Data is for 2020 as reported in Food and Agriculture Organization Corporate Statistical Database
List of countries by wheat exports: (Value in USD)
1 - Russia : 7,918,294
2 - United States : 6,318,111
3 - Canada : 6,317,889
4 - France : 4,528,591
5- Ukraine : 3,594,217
Another graph I found showed the following:
1 - Russia : 23.10 %
2 - Canada : 15. 60%
3 - United States : 15. 00%
4 - France : 11. 30%
5 - Ukraine : 8. 20%
Yes, they are also a major exporter of oil, but you start taking their energy infrastructure offline, they can't farm either. So not only will oil prices globally rise, but food insecurity. Hell, never mind the fact the other resources Russia exports, like rare metals such as palladium or nickel -> ua-cam.com/video/BZd8g1s8Fno/v-deo.html
That is why the US wants this war won on the battlefield (ie that is their dream, that Russia gets pushed back to their borders and then magically stops sending bombs and missile and drone attacks. Like if we learned anything from the middle-east, like with Israel is that someone don't like you, they will not stop attacking you).
Exactly. Russia is the world's second largest oil exporter. Which means they produce way more than they use domestically. Any degradation of their ability to export will only cause global oil prices to rise, but will do nothing to effect their domestic supply...because they produce vastly more than they consume.
Ukraine is on the right path if these 2 are anything to go by.
@@user-ul9dv2iv9s If "on the right path" means reckless abandon and would risk anything, including global catastrophe to win, then yup.
Ukraine has been on that path for a bit, ie the mindset of "if we can't exists as a country, then the rest world shouldn't exist either".
Picture the most hated person in your mind . . Right? Now, imagine they tell you not to touch a poisonous snake. I take it your mindset will be the same then? Like; "Hah, this idiot is telling me not to, therefore I must do it." Seems to be the mindset.
Just please stick to this argument when inflation hits. Please.
Less oil on the global market makes everything more expensive, which causes a contraction in the global economy, because now demand exceeds supply again (not enough resources, from fuel, to food, to energy), and that will have a knock-on effect in Western markets also.
Because Western markets exports their goods, like cars to places like India and China (who runs more and more on Russian oil now, it just shifted from West to East) and if that demand falls, then so do Western markets (Western markets still benefits from cheap Russian oil in that sense, even in the EU's current sickly state). And believe it or not, that also includes weapons for Ukraine, because for those weapons to be manufactured requires healthy Western economies.
But hey, what do you care? If you're Ukrainian (or even just fighting in Ukraine) you probably just want the war to end and good terms for Ukraine, am I right? Ever thought at what cost those terms might come by? How surprised will you be when this EU you want to join so badly is sickly ill, economically speaking, because of what is happening right now and can't give you the bright future you are hoping for.
You know, if you are from Ukraine, maybe you should stop trying to opt into getting into the EU and rather try joining the United States as the 51st state? They are thriving right now, with all their oil and LNG sales to the EU and will most likely be the winners at the end of this war.
At this rate there is no point in riding this EU donkey to death (I mean already it is talking about not adding new members anyway).

Or in that case - Here's dyadya Vanya!
It's Ukrainian now.
So when are the Kuril Islands going to be returned to Japan.
Or Kaliningrad to Germany.
You wouldn't want to be thought of as 2 faced, surely.
@@user-ul9dv2iv9s Look who's talking about being 2 faced.
Russia has offered Kaliningrad to multiple countries thorughout the years - Lithuania, Poland, even Germany. THEY ALL REFUSED!
And Japan? "Returning" the Kurils? First the japanese should ask why the americans "gave" them to Russia as a payment for their help again Japan during WW2.
Then they can try "returning" them, as they have no peace treaty with Russia. Let's see what happens, eh? I suppose the end result would be Tokyo being split between Russian and Chinese zones of control, what do you think?
Third year of war is most usually time when it is possible to see clearly result of military decisions made in previous period.. Combination of russian dedication to strategy and surge in industrial production in opposite with ukrainian improvisation and decision making based on vague goals coupled with diminishing of military aid and domestic production and huge and completely unnecessary number of lost soldiers, can lead just to one final outcome of this war... This conflict turning point in military and psychological perspective, was Bakhmut, and after that I saw just ukrainian downspiraling, because side in conflict dedicated to ideology or emotion not reason have no chance in wining the war... Bakhmut as psychiological breakpoint was ukrainian Stalingrad, and failed summer offensive was in military sense, very similar to failed german Kursk offensive in WW2..It is impossible to compare two so different conflicts, but it seems that dynamics is somehow similar...

As Ukraine flees before the Russian shovels, where are the Leopards, the Himass, the M1 Abrams, the (MLRS), Challenger 2, Bradley fighting vehicles???
No different than the Russian navy locking themselves into ports farther and farther away.
Diversity is our Strength! They'll be stopped by Diversity!
Ukraine has been doing nothing but retreating. Just look at the red blot.
Family first Willy. Wishing you well
Zero need for apologies you’re the goat ❤️
They are using a heaps of glide bombs killing a lot in the Ukraine trenches my mate over there said..plus two tanks made it killing a few before drones could get near them. It was like they had some sort of protection
Both the Russians and the Ukrainians have been developing jamming technology for armored vehicles as a way to counter FPV drones. And the Russians have began deploying them at the beggining of this year. So maybe that is what the tanks had?
What ever happens i wouldn't listen to Boris Johnstons advice

@Willy Oam - I hope you have a great day too
Many people that previously supported Ukraine continuing to fight are seeing the light. It is better for Ukraine to make peace with Russia then to continue fighting in a conflict that Russia is winning. Those that from their sofas are calling for Ukraine to continue fighting are now the minority
Here in Canada, about half the population was driving around with Ukraine flags on their vehicle, changed their social media profiles to a Ukraine flag, some people even painted their houses blue and yellow. They were rabid and bloodthirsty, fueled by state media which demanded full support of Ukraine, and offered no background so people would understand the real situation there. Now almost everyone has gone quiet, most who were wild about their support are downplaying their former exuberance. An increasing portion of people here are resentful at having to pay for this horrible war.
@@drutter You always have to pay for hopeless stupidity
You are telling it like Ukraine fights because people who support Ukraine tell them to do so. They don't tell Ukraine to fight they simply help Ukraine to protect itself. But you found very prevert way to show it is something wrong. People dies not because somebody helps Ukraine but because nobody helps it (lack of munition, lack of air defence, no planes). Your narratives kills much more people than actually help to Ukraine. So Ukraine is guilty that it is not strong enough to fight with Russia alone? Is it your point? Do you think if Russia attacked some NATO country it wouldn't be the same? Budapest memorandum my friend.
Ukraine never retreats, they advance, always. Even if it's towards Kiev 😂
TACTICAL COUNTER-RETREAT.

Take care and hopefully in future we will all be live with you soon
Family always comes first bud, glad you're ok and keeping priorities.
You also mentioned that there has been an increase in Russian ability for surveillance, I think this opinion comes out of ignorance of the Russian Doctrin and infrastructures in Ukrain for this operation. Note 1, Russia is deliberately using less than 20% of its military might here, this is as a result of a comprehensive study and intelligence gathering of the total terrain and objective of the operation including external factors. They know of the intelligence assistance from the west including targeting from the onset, every targets the Russians are hitting today, they had and prepared for this from the beginning. Their ISIRS including human intelligence is very robust and more than sufficient, you cannot surprise Russia in Ukrain. Also, Most respected senior American officers that were involved as planners, Commanders and Intelligence officer who saw action in desert storm or desert shield all unanimously say that The patrout batteries does not work. Its just an American commodity that you are using propaganda to sell. Its an embarrassment that most air defence systems, first ,patroit batteries all over Europe is seriously depleted. I wander why such a good system is running extinct in Europe
If Russia was retreating, your title would’ve been extremely bold and urgent 🚨 BUT since your side is loosing, you’re trying to downplay the defeat. Ukraine is not retreating willingly, they’re being defeated, thus they’re loosing ground. 😂
