I love my PSA AR-15. So much fun to shoot. I’ll admit, it’s my first rifle. and I feel special about my rifle because I build it from a kit, but it’s so much fun.
Nice 👍
Go build another and change things up
Hey what does it mean when the psa ar 15 won’t fire ?and the barrell spins doesn’t the barrell supposed to be locked in place?
@@kendracocater4596 Shit. Did this happen with yours?
@Damien for someone who's new to rifle do you recommend building or buying one already built
If things go down the way many are expecting, I would rather have a palmetto State armory AR-15 then nothing at all. I would rather buy three of these ARs then one top shelf because you never know when you need a hand a reliable accurate rifle to someone else. If I had unlimited funds, I would own 20 Daniel defense ARs and enough ammo to supply a small army but since that is not the case, I think this is the best AR platform for the money.
I like the fact that you are not a typical "gun guy" channel. You are a little doughy and average but are encouraging average citizens to "step up" and get serious about fighting for freedom. Well done!
Thank you. I am just... me.
I clicked specifically because of this. I miss these kinds of reviews. They used to be everywhere. Actual gun guys. Today every “gun guy” is some college kid talking like he’s selling supplants. It’s nauseating
Down to earth guy teaching some of us CLUELESS guys, great video thank you
Glad to help!
I know they take a lot of crap from the guys on UA-cam who love expensive guns, PSA is a great company with awesome AR rifles, pistols and builds. They also run great specials on ammo.
I like their guns. Yes, I take a lot of crap on all kinds of stuff in comments. Lol
I’ve got custom guns but I’m stockpiling these $400-$500 dollar guns. They’re decently accurate and seem to be reliable. I really like the M-16 throwback guns, they’re really simple, great sight post with a carry handle.
I bought that as my first AR with a Anderson Lower and I I'm extremely happy. The only thing is that stock wiggle, keep it up the content.
Great video man! I like your approach for explaining that it’s the way you like it and other people have their own preferences.
Thank you!
I have the same one only with the 15 inch handguard, I wasn't impressed with how it ran with 5.56 but ... the cmmg kit saved the day ! This thing is a blast with a .22 conversion.
Great rifle at a great price! Thanks for the video! 👍🇺🇸
You are welcome 👍
Great video 2A 😎
Thanks 👍
Great video, as usual. Thx!
Thank you!
Thank-you so much for your very real review!! Appreciate it very much.. I purchased new Ok Industries mags with the new follower before they went under.
You are welcome 👍
great review!! like the content
Awesome job brother
Thank you!
Happened to me too. I changed the charging handle. No more issues. Awesome riffle. 👍🏾
Nice!!
I dont have any PSA but have built 4 or 5 rifles/pistols from Bear Creek uppers, all are fun and operate perfectly so far. One is an 18 inch heavy 5R barrel and its super accurate.
PSA quality in 2022 is good to go.
Real quick with the mags I always stretch the springs to make sure they don't fail. Typically the followers fail due to the springs needing tweeked and stretched out to run properly. My Magpul mags no issues. Pmags rule
Before the bump stock ban I bought a PSA Freedom 16” kit to have a cheap barrel to burn out with all of those rounds being sent. Then one range day a bud brought a lead sled, and I had to see if the barrel still had the fortitude to group after around 2k rounds. It stacked holes at 50 yards and 1/4 moa @100. Ditched the bump and its been my hog sniper since.
That is awesome!
Totally love your shows you are calm easy to understand answer our questions and are totally honest. Thanks. I'm looking to purchase a AR-15 maybe you can do a video that you list prices and which AR 15's are the cheapest but still reliable for us that have a monthly budget these days.
Thank you! I do all that stuff on Locals. UA-cam has too many restrictions on that type content. 2aedu.locals.com/
Here is my advice on mags, number them. Then if you track it, you will know which ones are causing problems and can replace them. I have tossed several new mags over the years.
I just got one of these for $559 and for what you get it’s a bargain. I was going to go with a M&P Sport 2 but decided to give PSA a try. The Magpul furniture was a factor over the M&P stock, grip and hand guard.
Thanks Frank!
Thanks really appreciate your review I have many AR’s and they can be their own animal but most ALL. Are dependable. Remember better then a sick!
Great video bud!
Thank you!
I'm shopping around for my first AR15. Thanks for the information, great video!
Cool. No prob 👍
Nice video very helpful for new owners of ar 👍
Thank you 👍
Nice rifle and great review and video. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you👍
@@2aEdu You're welcome.
Great video
Thanks!
Great video and thanks for sharing. What I like about nitrite BCG's is they're easy to clean. Since I'm real picky when it comes to cleaning my guns.
Thank you!. I also think it is much easier to clean.
@@2aEdu Yep, if you like to give your guns the white glove treatment like I do it sure comes in handy. I also prefer it to nickle boron because unlike nickle boron it actually has a molecular bond to the metal underneath that it's there to protect so it should take longer to wear off.
I've shot around 1,500 tulammo through my Radical RF15 and not one single issue.
Shoot brass shoot steel as long as your shooting it doesn't matter. GOD bless!
I have the same PSA AR and mine has worked perfectly. Not a single failure to feed with the 30 round Magpul magazines. Great rifle. I'll be testing accuracy to 300 yards, or at least as best as I can with a red dot sight.
My 10.5 can hit 400 yrds consistently with a red dot. PSA bangs no doubt
I’ve only ran steel case with pmags in my AR since 2015. Zero issues and still just as accurate as day one. Full DPMS 16” barrel.
Nice!
I love my PSA AR 15 it looks great and it's easy to shoot and is very much reliable.
Love PSA. Hey 2a, I have a 20" free float 5.56 psa. I broke down and spent 100 on a pws compensater/flash hider. It looks more compensater than flash hider. Dude! The gun doesn't move now. It's ridiculously gentle. M4 buffer and tube. Rifle length gas tube. I'm sooooo getting one for my 11.5 psa pistol. Might go with that Jerry michelak break. It's cheaper and supposedly one of the best on the market. That pws is sexy, small, and not as obnoxious as alot of them. Just reporting and showing my obvious excitement for these rifles and that brake. Much peace and prosperity 2aedu! 🙏
Nice! That sounds like an awesome rifle! I hope you are good man. I'm already thinking about planning another hangout this year.
@@2aEdu woo woo! Yay!!!
ive got 2 AR's both PSA got about 3k rounds on each never a problem. i did change out the triggers to ALG-ACT triggers.
Sounds and looks good, I really like the rail.
Thanks!
Gotta try out the PSA/toolcraft nickel boron BCG it really smooth and helps find the gunk easy to clean and pair’s really well with the BCM gunfighter charging handle. Planning a upgrade to pair them to a .223 wylde PSA upper someday.
Thank you for the mag. Info.😊
No prob 👍
Nice with all the magpull stuff to start.
Put one round in the magazine to make sure the bolt locks back and check ejection (3:00 to 3:30).
I got a Radical RF15 absolutely love it only $600 flawless tough strong great accurate reliable wonderful A.R. 15 made in Texas USA.
Very nice!
My brother has one and likes it a lot also. I've yet to shoot it.
Me too I absolutely love my RF15 its been flawless through 1,500 steel tulammo. Radicals chew up and spit out any ammo.
@@Steelcity77 Exactly what I got. It’s a solid AR.
Between myself, friends & relatives, we have 6 palmettos. No issues with a single one, and they eat ANY and All ammo. I got their best ar10 2 months ago and wow. For $1,200, you get a killer 1,000 yard dmr. Getting my 4th soon(Jakl), love the company and their lifetime guarantee. I have 1,500+ rds thru my 1st ar15, 1,000 thru the ar pistol, and only 160 thru the ar10. Can't recommend them enough.
Hey what does it mean when the psa ar 15 won’t fire ?and the barrell spins doesn’t the barrell supposed to be locked in place? @SpOoNmAn
@@kendracocater4596 lol yea
Super nice
Any issues you may have had happened where they need to, at the practice range. Working out the bugaboos there is always preferable, not when your life might depend on it. It’s all about round count now. May you be blessed with a satisfactory break in.
Yep, exactly! It is all good now. I explained further in the follow-up on Locals.
I’ve shot tulammo and wolf in my psa M4 and never had an issue if I did it was nothing that I remembered lol I’ve also took several deer with the 72 grain hollow points they went down fast too
Nice! 👍
Straight 20 round magazines MUST have a tilting follower. Curved 20 round and 30 round magazines work BEST with anti tilt followers. If you put any anti tilt follower in a straight 20 round magazine, you will only be able to put 16-17 rounds in it. 5.56mm cartridges have a very slight taper to them. The follower MUST tilt to adjust to the cartridge taper. Curved 20 or 30 or more round magazines adjust to the cartridge taper with the curve built into the mag body. Thus curved mags work best with non tilt followers, since the follower follows the curve evenly.
Gotcha. thanks for the info.
@@2aEdu 👍
Wow that's awesome. Seconds in. I have to say it. Wow.
Thanks man!
When I buy a new gun I just take my son to the range, in 30 minutes you’ll know if you have a decent weapon. He’s gonna run a couple hundred rounds through it as fast as it’ll shoot.
Sounds like a Tasmania devel 🤣🤣
I've acquired more than a few lowers, uppers, and complete builds from palmetto. The major thing I would like for them to improve on is quality control. I've had an out of spec charging handle channel, out of spec pivot/takedown pin holes, canted A2 fronts sight, and canted gas block with loose set screws.
I would have stopped buying a long time before you ended up with that many problems.
I’ve had similar issues. They always take care of them but a lot of the issues I’ve come across should never happen with simple inspections
Hi,Liking the sticker😅👍
Thank you!
@2A Edu That AR ("America's Rifle") appears to be a nice looking and firing rifle, at that! Too bad about the C mag... Anyway, congrats & thanks for sharing, brother!
Thank you! I ended up solving the issue easily. Shown on the Locals video. (Which I think you already saw lol)
@@2aEdu Yep, brother, and I believe you did figure out the problem!
I bought my first rifle from them, an AK, and I love it! The fit and finish are tops and it’s quickly becoming my favorite gun. If their quality stands up, I’ll be buying more from them in the near future.
Think any gun has a box or two to run in and a good lube job and good mags and ammo make all the difference
So I’m brand new to guns let alone ARs. Is this rife the mid length or carbine length gas system? I’ve heard mid length is a little better for reliability and flatter shooting. Is this accurate?
Steel case ammo might be a collectors item one day lol !!!
No doubt!
I doubt you’ll see this but I would love to know, does this come will everything right out of the box? I’ve had some tell me that you need to buy other parts for this and I’m not too savvy when it comes to this. Please let me know!
Just bought the same gun for my wife.its her 1st ar15
Nice 👍
I prefer nitrate or dlc coated
Has PSA started cross pinning their GBs or at least dimpling the barrels? Been a couple years since I had one of their uppers & didn't know if they had upped their QC/QA.
I have no idea, I didn't take the gas block off.
Build looks good
Thanks!
i like it its perfect for home defence i am not special ops lolololo
You might of said it and I missed it, but what's the price, I'm looking to purchase my first AR don't want to spend a ton
I’ve been buying PSA AR15’s for 10 years. I’ve shot a few real expensive AR’s over the years and I didn’t notice any difference. People say that PSA is okay for the price, okay for entry level, okay for plinking, etc. etc. but again I didn’t notice any difference. The range I go to we have 12” steel targets at 100, 200, half man targets at 300, 400 and 450. After some sighting in and using holdovers my PSA’s all hit the targets. Sooooooooooo why would I pay 2X or 3X more?
Question. Did you put any gun oil since it’s new? Just curious!
Yes, and I also did a follow-up video on Locals. Link in the pinned comment.
My aluminum mags did not work well in my PSA AR-15 either.
I picked up a Ruger American 22 bolt action do you have any experience with that I haven’t had time to go shoot it yet just cause I work three jobs
Sorry, but I do not.
Great video 📹 😎. I shoot mainly steel case ammo. The only brass I have, are the m855 😏😏..
Thank you! Steel is mostly all I can afford.
@@2aEdu I buy steel because I can buy a lot more and have more of a stock pile and more fun at the range 😀 😎. I know what you mean with all these high prices and then life and it's bills 🥺
@@jman26388 Yep. Bills and everything is insane right now. If you are a member of my Locals community, checkout my most recent post. there is an awesome deal on 7.62x39 brass case right now. Cheaper than steel.
@@2aEdu I'll look into locals. Don't know what that is but I'll Google it .

PSA is perfect if thats all you can get. their customer service sucks. appreciate the review thpugh. thanks
You are welcome
OK then!!!
I know this is probably a dumb question but u can change the handguard right?
Yes 👍
Hello is the kel tec p17 a good gun to have for a 22LR?
I have no experience with it
So youtube doesnt allow folks to show 30 round mags but 20 round mags are good? lol Illogical is all around these days. Using logic is easy and fun.
Correct. 30 or more rounds mags in or outside the gun will lead to a restricted video.
@@2aEdu Wow. Thought you were joking. 😬
@@naughtystep9856 Nope. I'm not joking
@@2aEdu I know now….just wish you were! ✌🏼
@@scottplagmann3411 Yes! O please, O please!
Ambi charging handle Alot easier to charge
Nice carbine - consistent 4 o'clock ejection pattern.
Thanks. I noticed that too.
Lost ya for a bit man I don’t know why but somehow I got unsubbed weird right?? Haha whatever just glad to see ya and I re subbed and of course liked
Thank you. UA-cam does that sometimes.
I have been told that Putin's (Wolf) ammo has dirty powder and like to hear from you about that.
Thanks for going slow for the noobs! I’m still saving for my 1st AR *sigh* 🥰
Cool 👍 No prob.
Buy a stripped lower to get you started. I just finished building my first AR. It's more fun building your own
@@larrywilliams9368 Yup! Great advice.
Hey man I like that ak 47 in the back how much?
Thanks. It isn't for sale
That ammo u have on that shelf not go bad?
It has not gone bad........
@@2aEdu how long have u had it sitting on the shelf?Reason Im asking is I have alot of ammo and store mine in a 55 gallon military drum with a locking lid. They used it for transport of missle parts.I am worried if I leave it ona shelf it will go bad.The drum takes up some room,so I'm looking for another way.
✌️😎👍
You mean the company that describes itself as “okay” had shitty mags? 😂
lol
🤣🤣🤣
Oddly enough I'm having trouble finding the one with the full rail on top.

@@2aEdu Also looking at the magpul stock that doesn't wobble, though I've always loved the look of the stock in the video 👍🏻
Price?
I made the barrel for more then likely
Do you work at DC machine?
PMAGs not anything I wanna use.
6:04 😂😂😂
LOL 😹
Is this a 16 inch barrel?
Yes
A thing is a person needs to know is what there gun will eat and it wont
Yes!
Nice rifle for sure, I'm interested in the Military considering a 6.8mm round instead of the M-4 and a Rifle that serves as an assault rifle and a squad automatic weapon, you may be interested in checking it out, Thanks for posting. 👍 🇺🇸
Thanks, and no prob 👍
You need to do a diamond back AR-15 video good price and we'll made weapons. I have one budget rifle for budget buyers sir.
I do not have one to review.
@@2aEdu you know they might send you one to do a review all you can do is ask them .
@@adamlong54 Yeah, they might. I will ask them 👍
@@2aEdu free name and product exposure who would say no to that? They also have a pistol line too so ya know. Florida company
I have dB 15 fde and it's solid, bought pre covid and current panic for $575..upper has a bit of slop with fitment too the lower but it's acceptable..current build is a ept moe psa lower and freedom upper for $480 before tax and ffl..I'd take the psa if I had too choose 1..better build quality and a bit cheaper as well compared to the dB 15
You're saying UA-cam only wants 20 round mags or less in gun videos now? WTF? I've not seen this anywhere else, plenty of 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's and 100's still in new videos.
I asserted it as a matter of fact. It's not just me "saying it" 30 rounds or more are restricted. AKA 29 or less are within all the guidelines.
👍👍I like pistol length gas system on ar 15 but that rifle runs good
Pistol length gas system on what? In what caliber? I've not seen a 16" 556 barrel with a pistol length gas port.

Same here. PSA makes good stuff period. I will keep buying until I can't. I don't care what haters say anyways
@@mikewithers299 exactly. That Rock 57 is amazing. It's so flat and great ergonomics like carrying a rifle on your 3
@jerroddooley374 I've been looking at that. Didn't need another caliber to buy but that looks amazing and fun!
@@mikewithers299 I'm down to just 57 caliber firearms, and 22lr. I have two PSA Rocks paired with the Ruger LC Carbine. Several.22 revolvers and rifles.
