The only problem with PSA is them running out of stock.
Finally someone that see's the ONLY problem with PSA!!
I agree. You really gotta keep an eye out for goodies coming back in stock. They sell out quickly.
I stopped using PSA when I purchased a bca 762 barrel for less than 50 bucks and shoots sub moa (1/2-3/4)at a 100 yards! Now up to 6 cheap builds (sub260$)300blk 9mm 556 762 all shoot at least 1-2 moa, no out of stock BS!
@@milleniumann28 wow! That is an awesome assortment. I am going to do a big bore build as soon as the parts go on sale. A .458 Socom or a .50 Beuwolf, I haven't decided yet.
@@milleniumann28 bca used to be moore machine company. they produced polished turds. glad to see they got their act together
Bottom line is Palmetto isn't screwing gun owners over, they're trying to put as many rifles and carbines in the hands of American citizens as possible. Now that's Merica. Keep up the great work PSA.
Esteban Playa - I feel like they are making money as well as doing their civic duty lol.
I agree they are American owned American made and affordable to every American thank you PSA
dobby1359
Well said. Bravo!
They oughtta use thatas an ad slogan.👍🏼
Just received a complete AR upper from PSA last week... along with a new stikeforce II Those guys have great products at a great price.
Well said.
1. You aren't going into combat... PSA is more than fine.
2. You aren't a competitive shooter... PSA is more than fine.
3. You aren't a 2 mile sniper... PSA is more than fine.
4. You aren't a gun snob or elitist... PSA is more than fine.
5. You just plink and enjoy shooting in general... PSA is more than fine.
6. PSA is more than fine.
I wouldn't hesitate to take one into combat, based on my experiences with PSA hardware.
I am a gun snob. I own two psa pistols. I think they are a great value. I still prefer my MK18, BCM, LWRC, FN etc.
But I will not lie. I will continue to buy PSA. They work.
But I will also continue to buy my high end as well.
Colt sucks. I will take a PSA over a Colt, S&W, Ruger and many other more expensive brands. Just not the former brands.
I wouldn't think twice to carry mine into combat
PSA is the patriot rifle, the minuteman rifle, the affordable value option in the hands of many citizens. This is the respect rifle because they don't rape us to arm us. PSA is tree of liberty. And I would be more than happy to shoot tyrants with my PSA. I'd be happy to go to war with it as well. I hope PSA sets the rest of these gun rapist corporations straight. PSA 308 is $800. SW 308 is $1600. But both shoot fine. And PSA is not proprietary parts either. Even if I have a problem with my PSA gun, I CAN FIX IT EASY.
@@frogdude21XXX If PSA has a CHF barrel and you added a nickel boron BCG with their best trigger group, why would it not be a battle ready rifle?
I’m a CNC machine operator through PSA. Cool job and great company
Lol, I know. But we don't make the completed rifles at my shop, uppers, lowers, handguards and a few other parts but I think they are assembled up in SC
Put in some overtime Drew, we want our fucking rifles!
My upper didn’t have a cut out to lock the charging handle in, so every time I fire the charging handle hits me in the nose. Thanks, Drew.
Justa Guy 😂😂😂
@@en4orser swear you said that! Bawhawhaha
Palmetto State Armory is the blue collar workin mans gun that just flat out works!
Amen
Now that you put it like that, makes me not want anything PSA anymore. Being an average Joe, blue collar, 9 to 5 guy sucks!!! So glad that's not my life! Lol
1.3 moa out of the nitrate freedom line. 1.5 moa out of the 10.5 barrel which is really good for a shorter profile.
Tim Smith “So glad that’s not my life!” Stfu, your woman cheats on you.
@@burtrandolph1745 Which one!? Lol. I'm not married! Again.. THAT'S NOT MY LIFE! 😆
guys that spend 2-3 k on guns trash psa bc they work and that pisses them off. AR snobs
Palmetto is the MVP. Their variety is sort of "meh" sometimes, but their prices, and (usually) availability are great. Midway and Primary are awesome as well, but PSA gave the soupy boys the middle finger when asked for records, and I respect the hell out of that. Don't stop what you're doing, guys!
I can only give you an opinion based on my own experience. So far everything I got from them has worked 100% and exceeded my expectations.
Mine too. The only problem I keep hearing over and over is the canted front sight posts. They should have some way of resolving a common issue like that BEFORE it goes out the door, but in their defense... Lifetime warrantee.
@@frogdude21XXX - Hummm ... never heard that one. My front sight post is dead on accurate.
I am a PSA fan.
I had a gun that did not function. It was sad...They fixed it.👍
Now its working great. I highly recommend them to people who do not own an AR. I tell people set aside $1000. Gun runs $350. Get 10 AR mags. Romeo5 red dot. Spend the rest on AMMO. You can protect your family from the zombies. Arming America. More ARs equals more Freedom.
I'm pretty impressed with the Holosun optics.
I would say set aside $2000. You forgot to mention the $1000 that the credit card thieves will use when you make your purchase.
Jeremy Dougherty use cash, problem solved
LMAO
@@kcexactly who are these credit card thieves you speak of? Are you implying that PSA engages credit card theft? Kind of a shitty business plan for a fairly large firearms manufacturer and dealer don't you think? Extremely shortsighted. Shouldn't you notify the ATF with your proof of this information? Do you have regular conversations with your microwave sir?
They have no middle man. That’s why their prices are so low. I love my psa pistol build.
Lots of companies don’t have a middle man. They sell volume for profit over just having higher prices like DD and Lwrc
They don’t have the rigorous quality control of other companies either
No lots of companies have no middle man in the gun industry there products are cheap because they are cheaply made loose tolerance, crap. Imo
If they sold to retail outlets, the retail markup is about 30-35%, so a $500 PSA rifle would be about $800, which puts it in-line with many other rifles in this category.
@@graynotescartridgebox I know some retailers have a page for them, maybe they used to at one point but I do not see anywhere you can buy a new PSA rifle online except from them. You can buy lots in the secondary market.
Arming law abiding citizens reasonably.
Amazing company, great customer service, quality firearms. Even their "Blemished" guns are basically flawless
Well considering the price point and reliability I would have to say psa ar15s are the best entry-level ar15 on the market. And I doesn't hurt that they're American made :)
There's three things you can do to become a better shooter..
Go to the range and train.
Go to the range and train.
Go to the range and train.
That statement earned you a subscriber my friend.
I have been preaching this for so long and it's lost on deaf ears who know better just because they spent more money.
The old saying "15 grand and 15 miles doesn't make you a biker".... Well the same holds true for firearms. You have to train, and test both yourself and your equipment constantly.
How often you recommend? Once, twice three or four times per month?
I live in South Carolina and that is one reason I like Palmetto State but the owners exact words are and I quote I want to put as much freedom on the street as I can, I really respect that, they make weapons that anyone can afford. I had a problem with a PSA lower and I was given a new lower less than 15 minutes after walking through the door at the Greenville S.C. store.
What problem did you have with your lower ? I just bought one for $125 yesterday from PSA.
Spartanburg sc here
On the PSA site, is you search "cold hammer forged" they sell FN barrels with free floating uppers without BCG for $399 and holidays $299 free shipping. It is my only PSA but i love it. Save your money with PSA and buy bullets and train.
president excellent rifle powerful weapon great alot of fun shooting there great excited everyshoot perfict fantastic have nice *****^^^^***^^^^^***^^*****
Same trigger components as Colt... FN barrels, mil-spec carrier... they’re on a par with any top shelf AR period
Lol not even close, thats funny, have u ever owned a top shelf ar to compare it to?
Thats if you buy the CHF FN barreled uppers. I've owned many amd I agree in that sense. Their lower lines like the freedom labels ive heard have small issues fron time to time. But psa takes care of all their shit now.
@@justanotherinternetexpert7743 give me an example of your top shelf AR boy
StraitClownin909 I agree with you on this subject,it seems as if people just buy the name rather than understanding the components of the firearm and believe that like a colt there is a difference between the two just because of the price they sit at
@@Seth-hf2rq price has a lot to do with quality control. Companies like BCM check the most critical components of the gun for flaws individually, instead of doing batch tests. That's why I always at least put a BCM BCG in ANY rifle I assemble. The barrel is another critical part that I prefer to be individually tested at the factory. I consider my guns to be Life saving equipment, just like a parachute or bungee cord. It needs to work every time I pull the trigger.
I’m seeing some folks in the comments mention “sell the other two and only keep one, use that money for training and ammo”... that’s bogus.. don’t knock a man for having multiple rifles for multiple reasons (maybe). Why not keep them all and STILL afford ammo and training?.. duh
RandySavage50 my logic is that the more rifles you have the better. If shit hits the fan you can pass those bitches out to family and close friends and start a group to protect yourself
@@thomasdave6837 so true
Got one in 5.56 and x39 whatever ammo is around I should have an upper that will fire it lol
Never had a problem with any of my PSA builds.
Built my daughter's carbine with Magpul furniture for about $347. Out the door. Threw on a budget red Dot. Could have sold it for 600 many times over. Love PSA.
Never understood how u people say u can buy this shit off there website cheap and sell it for 600. Ya u may be able to sell to some sucker but anyone with a brain will ask what the parts are look them up and see how much they can get them for new. I love going on armslist seeing some bonestock psa pistol u can buy new for 499 listed for a grand lol u not foolin anyone.
@@s1lentcalib3r, Once you graduate, you will understand the dynamics of supply and demand, etc. You will also learn that when someone uses U instead of You, most of what they say following that is dismissed ;)
@@mikeland3453 - Yup.
I've built and sold several PSA rifles for a profit. Not a huge profit, but I've made a few bucks here and there. I'm also completely honest with anyone I sell to. They are told ahead of time that I'm not doing anything they can't do themselves, but I ain't doing it for free. They pay me for my time and knowledge of assembly.
Sure, there are shit sticks out there who will rip off the gullible... but who's fault is that really?
Mike Land I can never find the stuff to build an ar for under 500 on site or in store your real lucky
My palmetto upper runs flawlessly. Put 1000 through it before first cleaning. Zero issues. Aero lower.
Aero lower + PSA complete upper. Gets the job done
@@timothysherrange Great to hear... I just ordered an Aero Lower and a PSA Upper. WhooHoo!!
I got an aero lower, cmc drop in trigger and cmmg lower parts kit as far as the springs and pins go. PSA upper coming in mail now and only thing I’m changing on it is the barrel, this new 10.5 build is gonna be sick!!!
PSA has a deal right now. 1000 rounds of .223 (or it could have been 5.56) plus 10 pmags for $299 after a rebate
I got that! Great deal!
What’s their website
@@outhonielgedeus6655

They probably don't have that deal going anymore though.
This hurts to look at in 2024, ugg...
@@chizorama You're right.
PSA is great brother they really work hard to keep prices competitive and to allow the blue collar workers to own a top tier budget AR. I just got a freedom upper a basic furniture shoots true and straight at 200 meters 1.5 to 2 MOA is really can't complain about anything. PSA allows ordinary citizens to have a very to the standard AR that is cost effective. I agree that it is not "cheaply made" will be getting more PSA parts.
Thank You Sir! I agree, even in the current market, other brands are straining to offer basic rifles at $500. I just turn away toward PSA and consider the "Freedom" rifles. They are almost always shipped free and no tax.
P.S.A. Has always been top notch sales, service, products. For me.
Purchased 3 PSA lowers and put BCA uppers on them , couldn't be happier!!! All very accurate and reliable for a lot less money
My PSA 18" rifle runs like a dream, zero issues.
Had a few jams when I first popped my Palmetto's cherry but hasn't malfunctioned for well over 1,000 rounds... I can consistently hit a 5gal bucket at 500y.
Flinch Fu those first few rounds will not cycle properly on a brand new rifle cuz there’s no built up carbon to fill all the cracks in the BCG and gas system
Palmetto stock and ship dates only thing i can say make me unhappy lol. Salute to them spreading as mich freedom at working class prices
@Pipe HitR was that "business days"? Also, are you a FFL holder, or was the shipment non-FFL? Thanks!
@Pipe HitR Cool. Thank you. I just ordered a PSAK last week and I'm trying to get an idea of when they might ship it out. I appreciate the response!
@Pipe HitR great to hear! Thanks. I did order a blem, however, so I'll be looking for it whenever it arrives. 😬
Order AR9 10.5in 13 days ago and still no word ☹
@@joegalloway9011 I ordered my blem psak-47 gf3 eight days ago and it was just delivered to my FFL dealer. Perhaps because it's a blemished item, it was ready to go.
I agree. Completed “retro/ budget” build with PSA primarily. It was a real cool experience assembling a rifle I always wanted. Selling some spare parts on eBay I got it down to $300 & it makes me smile more than a POF that was exponentially more. Great video!
Any issues with the pof? I’m looking at the minuteman and reviews online are mostly accuracy tests and forums saying “ don’t buy I heard they fail to eject” anything would be great to hear back
Don't listen to gun snobs you can spot them after their first sentence, psa is as good as the more expensive ones a lot of times better, I have one complete PSA rifle, and my other two got bolt carrier groups from psa. Nothing but good things to say about them, just train, train, train , and when you think it's enough then train some more
You can spot them because they have a gun that's not a piece of shit
That’s not entirely true I do not think they are better than bcm,adm or a pws, are they good for the price point absolutely are they better than the companies I listed I don’t believe they are,
I’ve built many PSA guns and they have all been great reliable guns, I would stack them up against any of the high end guns on the market today!
Just picked me up a complete lower for $132 and FRee shipping, I’m totally happy
I have 2 Daniel Defence rifles and just picked up 2 PSA, 1 16 inch 223, and 1 6.5 creedmoor. I did have a problem with the creedmoor and PSA stood behind it and made it right. I couldn't agree with you more, you get a lot more than you pay fore.
Thank you for your honesty, I have a PSA lower already and waiting on my upper. The company is about an hours drive from me.
I'm not really into AR platform rifles. I have an old Bushmaster that runs fine but I wanted an AR to give to one of my sons who shares my love of firearms. I picked out a nitride mid-length gas upper and a MOE lower with the "Enhanced Polished Trigger", a nitride BCG and a stock charging handle and slapped on a $129 Sig Romeo 5 red dot (that I bought across the street at Cabela's) and Magpul iron back up sights on it and it ran a little rough for the first 40 rounds. I completely disassembled it, cleaned and oiled it, and it was "off to the races". No more problems. period. Even just buying complete components, not "building" the rifle, I am only into this rifle for $580 including the Iron Sights ($450 without the red dot optic). I am still looking for the final component, a decent sling. I'm a lifetime shooter, former soldier and retired LEO. I'm more of a AK platform fan, generally, but this is a heck of a rifle, especially considering the price.
I have had a positive experience with Palmetto State Armory. I did not have to rework parts, I did not have a single misfire in the year that I have used Palmetto parts.
My gripe is Smith & Wesson and their uppers. I have owned Smith & Wesson, Bushmaster, DPMS, Windham, CMMG, and a Colt.
Bottom line is Palmetto makes a great product with an inexpensive price tag.
Thank God I'm not the only one with Smith uppers being a problem. Tried a couple handguards on the s&w upper and they just wouldn't line up correctly but they did on an anderson upper
I love Windham I have the 16” mpc AR and never had any problems
I've got a fully built PSA AR15 that's reaching out to I know 400 yds hitting a steel target
I’ve only had great experiences with it, now I’m just desperately trying to get my hands on a PS AK-47
I love me some PSA! Everything I've assembled runs reliably and accurately. Holosun optics are a great value as well. Anyone looking for and economic option should look hard at these two products.
If you havent yet check out the sig remeo5 dots ive had both of mine for a little under a year and so far extremely reliable, 50k battery life, and motac for around $120. Pretty sure PSA has them on sale now
I’ve built and bought 5 PSA rifles. 1 16” FN Barrel Premium Carbine, 1 16” FN Mid-length, 1 16” Nitride Freedom Carbine, 10.5” FN pistol and 1 10.5” Freedom pistol. They have all run flawless. I’ve had no problems with any of them. I had one mixup that worked out fine. The 16” Freedom was suppose to be a Mid-length and they sent a carbine but my dad wanted it so I sold it to him and got the FN 16” Mid-length to replace it. PSA is my go to for AR’s.
I've been impressed with their premium line for years now, one of the best bangs for the buck.
Hope they are good, just ordered a AR9 Upper and a AR9 lower from them...just shipped out and I'm very excited to check it out
I just built my first AR with the classic freedom kit and she runs great. The only thing I don't like is the caliber so I'm building another one (probably a pistol) in 7.62x39. I highly recommend them 👍
I bought a PSA AR kit (everything but the lower) with the intention of breaking it....after a couple of classes and thousands of rounds ...I've had minimal malfunctions ..I consider PSA the ak of the ar world
Ye no joke I agree & speaking of AK they make some sweet looking AK's as well, & I'm not a huge AK guy but there's look bad ass!!
You said it well that they make value parts and firearms! I have 3 in 3 different calibers, they all work great! Good clip!
Great video, I love your comment about .. training, training, training ...The AR 15 is a battle rifle made for reliable contact within 300 yards while moving ..its not a sit at the bench rifle .. reliability is key ..These PSA rifles are that..
I have one I carry on duty and use them in training. I've made upgrades and changes where needed but after 3k rounds it still functions 100%
My fourth ar is a palmetto. The milspec trigger that came with a midlength 16" rifle kit was garbage. Unsafe- would basically double fire. I filed down a facing on the trigger and it functioned... but it still sucked so i Replaced it with JMT tactical saber trigger... people CONSTANTLY ask me how many thousands of dollars ive spent to make the gun shoot so well...
1. $30 2 port brake.
2. $75 JMT drop in trigger (on sale)
3. Greased buffer spring.
Like 450 total rifle hahaha. Threw on a solid light, magpul furniture, a little red dot and people think its a $2000 rifle.
You should probably mention that it was rendered unsafe *because* you started filing on it
@@Caleb-gb9ym no, it came from the factory in a state were it would double fire. I corrected this, but eventually upgraded whole trigger group with a drop in unit.
I got a lemon, and i fixed it, and then replaced it. Yes- palmetto state made a mistake... they still saved me hundreds on the build and i still reccomend them.
No body thinks that...
@@jonvenusti i know better... and you know better.
Most gun owners dont. You highly overestimate the average joe on the range. They do think it because they SAY it.
Palmetto is doing great things for the money, its gotten alot of people into ARs. Im pointing it our because this is one of the few times where you get more then what you paid for. A basic POS comspec ar15 is like $750 around here (and they constantly jam). If you build a palmetto you get alot more for your money- the average joe sees a nice trigger and a brake on an free floated ar15 and has never seen that level of performance from a rifle. They think you have to pay alot more to get it.
You think that if you blindfolded the average guy and put an ar15 in his hands he could tell you the gas tube length? Or by the recoil tell what kind of muzzle device you were using? Hell what ammo you were shooting?
No. They could probably tell you if they liked the trigger and thats it. Beyond that- most cant even pull a guns trigger without flinching.
They think that reduced recoil and trigger weight cost ALOT more when you buy a rifle and is an effect that comes from super high quality parts. Mainly becuase most have zero exposure to "building" a rifle.
The average joe has no idea what expensive rifles offer. Most are still brand bandwagoners (like glock lol)
Tell you what- try this- ask a random guy at the range if his barrel was MPI tested and watch them look off into infinity for the answer. Lol
Also... just read your user name... not sure if im being trolled... but i wrote too much to not send this now!
I just put together a mark18 for myself so far I love it
There is nothing like the satisfaction of out shooting someone with very expensive gear with the most low buck stuff at the range
Just bought my first ar pistol from psa. Complete lower with bolt carrier group charging handle enhanced polished trigger and sba 3 brace. 7.5 in upper with fluted flash can. All ran me 460! Plus FFL transfers fees. Super excited to take it to the range though and see how it performs. You really cannot beat those prices and that quality
I'm with you on your opinion of Palmetto State. My first build from Palmetto State had a couple problems but it was the learning opportunity I wanted. Like you I didn't call them up. I worked through the problems and had so much fun. Knowing about your weapon and learning how to fix it is priceless. I can't believe how cheep all the basic mil spec parts are. On the other hand I am overwhelmed at the prices of the high end parts you can get and all the crazy attachments available.
I’ve been a Recon Marine, Law Enforcement Firearms instructor for 5 years and my Palmetto State Armory has been flawless. I’ve put thousands of rounds through my PSA rifles and pistols. I’ve had 0 malfunctions through any of them. My colt and BCM has had FTF and FTE through them and my PSA cost a 3rd of what Colt and BCM cost. Having said that, these are tools and tools fail. Any mechanic item will be different and functions vary. I’ve been lucky with mine.
Sorry, I’m on my phone typing this while sitting on the porcelain chair so my sentence structure is somewhat deviated from perfect English.
First AR15 I bought was a PSA worked great right out of the box.
I own and enjoy my items bought from Palmetto State Armory. Only problem I had was Cold War Era surplus magazines. Took apart the mags, serviced them, now the rifle works perfectly.
I agree brother got several brands PSA is a great product
I've used their parts and I've been pretty impressed so far ☺👍
Subbed for being happy with 2 inch groups at 300.
I've purchased several PSA firearms and have had a fairly positive experience with them. I built my wife a PSA AR15 and dyed all the magpul items plum purple. She loves it and always wants to shoot it. I've recently built a 300BLK pistol with PSA including one of their super sweet FN barreled uppers. I haven't got to shoot it yet, but I figure it will be an awesome experience as well. The only issue I've had with PSA was one of their 9mm Colt Lowers, the feed ramp sat way too high, and the ejector was misaligned which caused frequent ftf and fte issues. I ended up sending it the Mad Machinist in Georgia. He changed out the feed ramp, tuned the ejector, and otherwise cleaned up the lower. The weapon now works perfectly and I have no complaints or regrets. It is currently mated to a Foxtrot-Mike 16" Colt Style Upper and these two work flawlessly together. One thing I can say is the Foxtrot-Mike Upper is very high quality, and the PSA lower doesn't quite match qualitatively.
Just got my PSA Ar....love it! Got just over 500 in the gun strapped a vortex diamondback tactical 4x12x40 an can shoot 1" or less groups with it at 100m.... took it to the deer stand an smoked a nice buck with it dropped him where he stood..... all that said PSA is great! No complaints here! Highly recommend!
AKOU 5000 rounds on basic Palmetto State Arms M4,but their shipping takes forever
There shipping is fast these days. 3 days on non ffl items. A week on transfers that are already on file with them.
The only reason anyone hates PSA guns is because they can't flip them on armslist. Some people are as crooked as a hillbillies teeth lol. That's the real reason they hate them.
Great video.... I noticed that you are talking about PSA, but have Anderson M. Lower. Which parts are PSA on this video.. I did a AM lower a week ago and now looking for a upper. I'm interested in know more. Thank you again for this video information..
Always had a good experience and quality parts for all my builds from PSA. Only complaint is occasional long wait on shipping.
I’ve had to return defective PSA parts on more than one occasion and I do have several safe queens. Great advise coming from somebody who put a scope mount on backwards.
Lol good one
"Safe queens" lol. If you spend a mint for bcm and an acog you have to justify it.
Great video brother. I keep coming back to PSA because they work. They price everything right and they just work. I just got a PA10 from them, what a great value. Bought a couple little upgrades and I'm off to the races. Charging handle, Radian, the grip, Magpul K2+, and put a .30 cal break on it. Threw my Vortex PST gen2 1-6 on top and this gun RUNS! Great company!
I'm at 3 psa ar15's now.
All well worth the money 👍
Only complaints
1 rough trigger
1 oddly formed magpul grip
All work great.
They're high-value, quality guns END OF STORY.
Yep. Pretty much sums it up
I've gotten lots of parts from psa. the fn barrels are great, the value barrels are decent and the lowers are in spec. the only problem i ever had was with a 308 upper. the chamber was to tight emailed em they sent me a box and a mailer and fixed the issue within a reasonable amount of time.
Carried Colt M4 in my cruiser for many years brother. If someone wants to argue over .2 of an inch barrel length, most likely they have no idea of the concept of lands and grooves. Mil Spec is Mil Spec. What we have to pay attention to is the gas key. The gas key heads need to be staked and staked well. I own several different brands like you. PSA stakes their gas keys above all. No gas key? You have a club or a paddle. I like your comments. Probably the best you tube explanation I've seen. Yeah, 3 options. Train or train the third option well, train. Great vid!
I've put maybe over a thousand rounds through my PSA AR 15. Only issue I had was shell casings hanging in chamber at times. Found out it was my fault when I was reloading the the rounds.
My only issue with PSA is their shipping times. Besides that never had an issue with any items I've purchased.
ive bought 2 gun kits from them. Their shipping times are stated to be up to 15 business days for upper receivers. the first took 13 days and the second took 6 days so not really that bad honestly
Got my brand new PSA15 in 5 days to local FFL.
@ I ordered a ar9 13 days ago still waiting
Awesome, I have never had a problem with palmetto
I'm a HUGE fan. I have never had a problem but if I do I've heard the customer service is second to none.
I had the same problem with the disconnect. But all I did was shoot it a lot and after about 200 rounds it started working properly.
I have 3 psa’s,1 adam’s arm’s and 3 aero precision’s and have never had an issue with any of my psa’s or any of my friends have had any issue’s that have psa
They are just as dependable of my aero’s and my adam’s piston AR
Good to see you putting out content again. Do you have any thoughts on the new glock 43x and 48?
Thank you...Not yet, but I'll be looking into them soon.
In the midst of building my first PSA, MK18 pistol as well. This will be my first low cost AR and I am anxious to compare it to my others. Thanks for the vid!
Please come back and share your experience or stop by my FB and talk about it.
My first AR 15 was built from PSA and its flawless. It's very accurate and I have not had one issue. Only 100 rounds in but it runs like a top.
High speed, low drag couch operators would disagree.
And the USA government and anyone that's knows anything about barrels and bcgs.
@@pauls5375 what are you even talking about? Civilians don't shoot their guns as much as soldiers. They actually need higher end barrels and bcg's for a reason.
@ you don't do sarcasm, do you?
@ they are stupid then lol.
"Go to the range and train!" Thank you for speaking the truth.
Been shopping around for my first ar15 and someone said to get one of these kits and build one.it was good to get some insight on them
I have 3 of them myself. Zero problems with any of them. They did mess up one order years ago, and forgot my BCG, But the next Day it was shipped. They are great guns, and great video BTW.
I live near them. Their showroom is awesome.
You will be extremely happy with the Holosun. Great customer service. I own 6 different models. My newest is the HE515 CG.
go be poor somewhere else kid
I love my PSA pistol. I couldn't justify the high prices for generic ARs so I checked them out. Had the lower sent to my dealer and the upper came right to my mailbox. Took me a month to get the upper but I'm sure at these prices they are in high demand. After I finished the build I ran it pretty hard at the range and it has never failed to fire or function. Planning a second build in 6.5 Grendel with PSA parts. People can't believe that I have less than $500 invested in my pistol.
I just bought a new 16” non blem 556 upper from PSA with their BCG with a 15” mlok rail. First issue was that upon receiving the upper there was a slight dent to the front left side of the rail. Second issue was after putting 200 rounds through the upper I encountered multiple failure to ejects. After further inspecting the BCG I determined that the gas key came loose and the gas key was not properly staked which caused the gas key to come loose. I sent two emails to PSA and have received no reply. Time to call them and see what they can do. I’ve never had an issue with BCM or Spikes so the quality control just wasn’t there when they put together my upper.
Huge fan of PSA. I have had the disconnector issue once out of four builds and did just what you did. Only other issue I’ve had is on one of the “premium” CHF uppers, the front sight post is canted a few degrees off so took 13 clicks of windage to zero at 50m. The first two builds have otherwise run flawlessly and my other two are recent completions waiting for their first range day. I have zero regrets about PSA and really appreciate what they produce. And their CHF FN barrels are awesome.
Same here, I own 3 PSA rifles 1 had a disconnect issue and simply upgraded to a drop in trigger..rifle is even better!
Gorilla UMP yeah, I actually swapped out the whole trigger group and put a Geissele in there for funsies. Ambi’d the M4-gery and put a Super Dynamic-Combat flat bow trigger in. ZERO issues since!
I got a 7.5 inch ar pistol from psa, iam happy.
I had a similar problem with the bolt hold open lever. Mine was way out of spec and was slipping off the back of the magazine. They had 2 new ones in my hand in 2 days flat. The new ones were perfect. A random part or 2 has been my experience also, but they are AR15s that work and cost less than a new 229.
I'm glad to see all these great words about PSA....Just got my first AR. Can't wait to get to the range.
I agree. The thumbs down are from DD owners that can't even seat a mag correctly. I have the same freedom upper kit I think it was 359 with the ept. Their polished trigger group is comparable to ALG's. Love PSA I hope that new AK they made is gonna last Rob Ski 5k test.
I'm looking forward to their MP5 kit coming out.
I'm feeling like BCM fan boys seem to be the worst these days. While I do like many BCM products they aren't that impressive.
@Jones me too. Waiting for Rob Ski to finish his 5k
I bought a 224 Valkyrie upper at a bargain and it shoots sub moa.
I've owned ArmaLite, S&W M&P, Colt, Bushmaster upper on a RRA lower build, Spikes upper on an Anderson lower build, PSA upper (mid carbine) on Anderson lower build, and recently PSA upper (10.5 pistol w brace) on Anderson lower, and the PSA pistol build was so recent, I haven't even had it out to range yet, but other PSA build performed as well as all the other "big names" I've owned, granted I have yet to encounter a hiccup with any of the brand's I own, (easily thousands of rounds through each), and hopefully recent PSA pistol build will be no exception! Will be ordering another PSA build kit asap! Either carbine or middy, mk12 style clone, or possibly a "dissipator," (I've always wanted one).
Good video PSA sells good products at a great price point; I am looking forward to your next videos.👍👍👍
Just built my first PSA AR15 10.5” pistol. Walked out spending $380 and 2.5 hours later I built my new wife!!
If you buy enough guns new wives happen quite often.
Some people just have to be Thee Judge. They expect too much from others period. They buy stuff build it. Dont know how to adjust or trouble shoot. Unlike you or I they dont understand the concept of spare parts. Jewelers file and some sanding or polishing cloth. Fixes 90% of all issues. Run 500? Naaa. They run a couple boxes and call it done. Let em spend the big dollars.. as you said. They got No Clue and No Training.
No complaints here from my PSA build. Great gun and I enjoy it
