There are quite a few characters that are NOT from the series. But all in all it was pretty dam cool
A live action most definitely could be terrific. It wouldn’t even have to stray far from the TV show. At least in my memory, the show was pretty serious and sophisticated story wise. All they would have to do is get beyond the trap of it seeming like a made for TV movie. In short, they need someone who loved the series who could do it justice.
The "gun episode" is/was amazing, and it's stuck clearly in my mind since I was a kid. Gargoyles didn't talk down to it's audience, nor sugar-coat things.

I always wish the story had continued to when we would see Brooklyn find his mate in Katana. If ever a gargoyle deserved a happy ending, it was Brooklyn. I know he never really gets it. In fact, he has a very long, hard, and tragic adventure in the comic books. He was always my favorite of the Trio. A brave but reluctant warrior who fought for his family, and matured and grew over the course of the show.
A lot of people crap on AI but your work is proof it's an amazing tool in the right hands. This is digital alchemy, truly spectacular! I only wish the owners of these properties cared as much as you do.
People crap on AI when it is used to replace working people at their jobs. AI is an awesome thing when used like this. But when it comes to completely AI generating a game or a movie, there by bypassing voice actors/actors, writers, directors, special effects artists and the like by having to pay one guy to do it all with AI, that's just bad for the economy, because I also didn't mention all the behind the scenes guys that we don't usually think about.

I used to not like ai generated images and stuff. But I started to come around to liking it and use it. When used properly, it can make beautiful detailed drawn covers

Most of these designs are spot on and the music is straight up badass.
The Lexington in the bonus content is how I'd picture him as live action.
Miss this Masterpiece of a Show so much. Simply think back for the Episode with Anubis ( so much wisdom in 20 Minutes) .
Absolutely magnificient ! My nephew was totally hooked by this great show when it was broadcasted in TV, a re-boot with these characters' design would be awesome, expecially if they could interact with all the world's mythologies, as seen on this video.👍

Someone who actually likes this show and its comics would know better than to want a live-action adaptation or even just a continuation series, following after the comics of course.

A fantastic series that delved into some serious topics, like guns are not toys, and thus got quite a few episodes banned. Would love to see this full series once again.

All this looks ssoo good. If I may? Brooklyn just needs his horn, Lexington's wings go all the way down his sides to look like a flying squirrel. Just as Desdemona is butterfly-like. They've got unique wings.

I like this very much. I was an adult when this show was on, and I really liked the show. I wish the show could of gone on longer. If they make it again, make it like this. The attention to detail is amazing.

This is what a live action version of Gargoyles could be if done right. Keep up your good work with this and if you speed up the music to 1.25x it gives it a more up beat sound.
I would die for a great gargoyles revamp but only if it’s exactly like the old story line they can adjust to make it more modern when needed but the original story was fire
With everything Disney has put out and shoved down our throats, why haven't they made a live-action version or continuance of this fantastic and groundbreaking series? On the other hand, why hasn't Keith David been cast in any of the MCU offerings?! By the Magus he's "Childs", and "GOLIATH!"
I actually think I've read recently that a live-action project is in early development. (There have been a couple of passes at it in recent years, but the latest shows signs of having legs.) And there are new comics coming out from Dynamite over the Weisman byline.
@@johnc.bunnell5872, with most of the primary leads still with us, they will never be able to cast an incredible array of thespians for the production. Just looking at the actors who provided their voices to the series is astounding. It's hard to believe such a small cartoon would have such an impact on two generations, X and Z.
A live-action series is in the works. Blumhouse and James Wan are part of the production.
I've heard they are developing a live action series for Disney Plus.
@brianbole6139 They are. As I said previously, Blumhouse and James Wan are involved. I'm cautiously optimistic. With people who know how to work with elements of horror and adventure, this live-action series could be great.
Got imagine if Disney actually pulled its head out of its ass and actually put up some good money for making this happen to live action in my opinion gargoyles is the perfect blend of both fantasy and sci-fi it's what got me into both those stronger as a kid growing up watching this show it's just too bad that Disney will never make this into the giant franchise that it should be
Bronx is scary looking. I loved Gargoyles as a kid cause so many of actors/actresses who did the voice's were in Star Trek Next Generation which was another show I loved as a kid.
Loved this show. And it is one of the few Disney cartoons that I believe could make a good reboot with a human cast. As long as the stories stay as they were, not goofy but somber, even dark and the CGI was kept at a minimum. Practical effects are so much better. Directing and cast would have to be on point also. So not easy but doable.
Other than Goliath looking just a touch too roid-ed out, this was spectacularly well done! Almost exactly as I'd picture a live action. Netflix should take notes.

My only critique is that you put "Desdemona" for the one that became Coldfire, the only reason I critique that detail is because Greg himself admitted that it was just a stand in name because he couldn't think of anything else for the episodes with her, other than that I absolutely LOVE THIS because I loved Gargoyles when it first aired, which was the very day after I turned 2, I own all the episodes on Prime Video, and I even got custom Dakimakura art done for both Demona and Angela my very first two Waifu's ever. I also got both art's printed out to actually cuddle with them because I'm such a hardcore Weeb fan.
Quick edit add: I would love a copy of both Angela and Demona at 2:33 in to use as wallpapers on my laptops cuz those two seriously look so amazing.

Same here, but I think they continued the story as a comic after the show ended. That must be where the additional characters come from. Wish I could get my hands on that books but it was impossible a decade ago already.

I recognized all the characters. Many only made an appearance in one episode of season 2 during the Avalon World Tour. I've watched the whole show through at least 3 times. Haven't read any of the comics though. :(

Even though I was at the age in my 30's in the 1994 thru1997, I loved the cartoon, I know it's only AI, but if this were an action packed movie or series, I would love it even more. BTW, the character that wasn't shown name Owen Burnett, If I'm not mistaking, I believe Owen Burnett was the shape shifter Puck.

at 7:50, Goliath looks like both Peter Steele from Type O Negative or a bulked up version of Glenn Danzig. I've seen pictures of both men having that same face as Goliath.

You're right. Unfortunately Disney owns Gargoyles. And Disney never supported the show. For some reason Disney doesn't think highly of Gargoyles.

Ive done Xanatos in his armor, near the end of he video but it turned out looking more like a red batman. Steel clan was particularly difficult because they started varying a lot from the original design.

Gargoyles was literally created to be a competitor against more adult friendly cartoons in the 90s. The literal description for the show was "it needs to be EDGY!" DISNEY TAKE THE HINT, IT FUCKING WORKED! bring back Gargoyles and obviously Keith David as Goliath.
You forgot Arthur Pendragon, Owen Burnett(Puck's human form), and Merlin(I think he was in the Gargoyles Saga fanfictions like Brooklyn's wife).

I love this show so much and would to love see an adaptation, but overall I'd rather not, because the owners of the show have broken my too many times like an abusive partner, 😢💔they will never fool me again. Great video though so checking the other ones. 😊
