Definitely Pokémon games are top, I would also recommend a game called fantasy life. It’s a Zelda clone but it’s really really good… I sold it a long time again trying to get it back :/
I personally preffer the 3ds over the switch, well honestly i preffer any other nintendo portable to the switch, i think the gb the gba and the ds are also better, the gba and the 3ds i think they are the best handhelds ever made, majoras in the 3ds is acceptable but its much worse than the original game, they destroyed the swim mecanic they made everything so much easier the dark atmosphere does not exist in the 3ds demake, i personally don't like it i think the n64 game is much better, ocarina 3d is almost perfect they just screwed the darkness in the final ganon battle

In all honesty I got them on eBay, however I over payed because in custom game cases you get them for like 5 bucks. So check them out!
