i got the superchips dashpaq+ on my 08 quad cab ram 1500 4.7l 4x4 6 speed manual..it woke my truck right up and i can monitor all kinds of stuff on the dashpaq+ i think i paid about 600 bucks for mine maybe a little less like 580 bucks.
Running tow tune gets the converter hot unless you've had the transmission rebuild with high energy clutch and a Billte cover style converter. Oems get hot and fry the converter clutch.
Next time try all settings in options, you'll be surprised! I got a 2012 quadcab with a 4.7l. Wow. I also got 33 inch Duratracs and it chirps second gear! I also did a true dual exhaust with super 10 mufflers.
Oh sorryit took so long to answer but i cant remember what the settings were . My flashpaq got a cracked screen and cant see anything on it but the Ram is still tuned forever i guess unless i take it to a service department and they put stock tune in but no ways i do all my iwn work on my truck . Still chirping second gear though . I believe i used the trans tune from superchips to chirp second gear @yngrbl
What kind of power did you get running the lower tunes like tow or 87? I hear a lot of people run a 91 tune with 87 gas but add a couple of those high priced octane boosters to get up to 91 or higher octane
Yes, the Flashpaq saves your stock file and then whenever you wanted to go back to stock you just Uninstall the Flashpaq and in doing so it returns your vehicle to its stock programming. 👍
Ah man dont use rough country. Their shocks are complete junk. I a leveling kit from them on 2 of my trucks that came with the n20 shocks and they rode like shit from the get go. After 2 months i bought skyjackers shocks for existing lift installed. When i pull the rough country shocks off they were so empty if i stood them on end the rod just sunk down on its own. And the front end components were all new and tight when installed and both trucks went straight in for alignments right after installing the leveling kits.
Yes on the economy, fuel mileage does go up as well, power delivery is still smooth it does feel slower than the performance tune but still more responsive/quicker than stock.
Hello, I just got my superchip f5 today for my 2013 ram 4.7 and I keep getting a “no application software for this vehicle” after I turn my ignition to “on” and try to go to the next step. Any advice?
Unfortunately we are out of luck on this tuner. For some reason the 2013 Ram 1500 4.7 is not supported by this product. Called the company directly and they confirmed that. Support ends with 2012 and I think picks back up at 2014 either with this tuner or others. I bought mine through Auto Anything and it said it was compatible on their website so now I have to go through the return process. Bummer.....
Yes I'm running 93, your not supposed to run anything less than 93 on a 93 tune. You can run less than 93 but you need to run the corresponding tune for the type of gas you want to run.
Lol I hate when ppl drives like this dude. You totally blocked that car behind that trash truck and rode the trash trucks corner for a min. Should just get on past as quick as possible and move on
I need to find someone local with one of these so I can flash my 02 dakota 4.7, I'd rather not spend 400 buckeronies on this shit, that full exhaust kit kinda money

I’m curious if it’d work on my 05 grand Cherokee 4.7L...🧐

What settings did you mess with? I have a 2012 quad cab with 32s
Which settings did u adjusted with ?
Been waiting 4 years to hear what setting you changed and what you changed em to … 😅

What are the gains from the tune because that tuner is not cheap ??
Your truck will shift alot. Better get 4:10 or 4:56. Don't ask me how I know this

Im not sure but i believe the 2012 got a little more horspower than the 2011s , i could be wrong . Do you have 8 or 16 sparkplugs mine has 16
What year of trucks does this support I own a 2003 4.7
Did you end up getting the tuner?
Does it work well are u still using it??
Will it disable the 8 cylinder to 4 cylinder crap?
yes

Ever do an economy tune

Are you actually running 93 or does it matter if you use the cheap gas
You are supposed to be running 93 nothing less on 93 tune. I don't think this guy is.
This tuner advances the timing and the reason it requires 93 is to prevent predetonation.

@@kofabandadventures8900 you are correct, 93 is what I'm running on the 93 tune and its what is supposed to run nothing less than that.
Is it on the fly tune?
You in Georgia
still using it?
How’s the performance now
It's definitely quicker and more responsive..before it used to be very sluggish and felt heavy . I definitely recommend this flashpaq.
@@c_losgarage71 orders mine Saturday. Let’s see if my 06 Ram 4.7 🐌 wakes up.
@@olveramelinda did you see a difference?
@@pmanrise not worth it to be honest. It’s very lil different and I run it on 93 octane
@@olveramelinda ok thanks I am trying to do the front end conversion to the 06 model
0-60 ???
Can you go back to stock tune if you want to
Yes, it downloads the stock tune
Yes you can.
Would it actually work on my 2010
It should. Mine is a 2011.
Can we unplug it after we download the tune?
Yes once you've downloaded the tune and it has indicated that tune installed 100% and successfully, then you can just unplug it.
Lol I hate when ppl drives like this dude. You totally blocked that car behind that trash truck and rode the trash trucks corner for a min. Should just get on past as quick as possible and move on
Lmao that part was testing me, insane how people in the states have ZERO highway manners.
Let me barrow it
50 bucks
