Great. Just tried for the first time. (I’m a 21yo learning to cook on my own) I cooked for 11 hours exactly on low. Mine came out so tender and was so easy to pull apart
@@tybeethyme2234 ahhhhh I figured but these things are important as I'm sure you are well aware.. Thank you. I've been wanting to justify a slow cooker without the hassles of clean ups and this settles it. Thank you!!!!
This looks good. We call that pull-pork, pot roast or pernil if you do in a oven and broiler. Suggestion, loosely trim the top-fat and put the rub on the meat under the top-fat and lay the top-fat back or pin it. The seasonings on the top of the top-fat is a waste of seasoing IMHO. We also cajun inject our 12hours before cooking and during the cooking process. This add internal moisture and flavor. You can use any liquid or experiment. I'm playing around with using a dark pilsner, habnero liquid pepper sauce or tobacco some times.
I see there is lots of comments both positive and negative about using a plastic liner while cooking. Our crockpot cleans up so easily it’s ridiculous...nothing ever sticks to it.
I made this very same pork roast in my crock pot one night when I had two girl friends over for the night 😉. After we had our fun all night long we woke up to a delicious crock pot pork roast, yummy 😋
@CARELESS WHISPER I also made a Part 2 video showing me removing the roast from the crock pot and making Pulled Pork. You should check it out! Thank You so much for watching.
That's because you live in a communist country. That was made blatantly obvious by the restrictions but down on the people that the people allowed to take place. You live in a communist country and that's the way prices of food are
@@seanwatt8540 Thats a strange comment Sean. Australia is a liberal democracy with strong interest in making life better for its people. Yes somethings might be expensive but we get a good wage for our labour and good pension when we cannot work, and more importantly dont live under a fascist kleptocracy which keeps their citizens poor and the elite rich. We can cope with expensive pork and expensive petrol because you cannot put a price on freedom which we have in bucket loads. Dont be envious, just change the situation that makes you so bitter and disillusioned.
Simply look at the measures that were forced upon the people with this whole vaccination for covid-19. Only recommendation I would make is not to cook it in plastic all day. just go ahead and fill up that dirty😊 crock pot with water and let it soak for a little while and it'll be super easy to clean and you don't have to eat food that you cooked in plastic all day

This recipe worked great for me. Thank you so much for the help. I can’t cook at all and even I made this turn out okay cause of this vid.
I’m So Glad! Thank You 😊
I use those liner bags as well. Very convenient. Thanks for the ideas.
Yes they are!
Can I ask between you both what is the safety rating of the plastic?
Are they something you shouldn't use often? Or heat safe and no issues at all?
@@ruukusanla They are bags made specifically for the slow cooker. I also have bags similar for the oven.

It's always important to slice the roast and taste it so the viewers can judge the success of the recipe.
I’m fairly new to this. Thank you so much for your input. ☺️
@dick trickle I do have a part 2 for this video in which I do Pull it Apart. Check it out. Thank you for watching!

I usually put jerk seasoning in it about 34 tablespoons and you can actually have it with white beans instead of rice
Happy Video Anniversary haha I hope you are doing well.

Simple. Like it. Think. Can do. Pork but on sale

you shold sear that pork roast in a pan before you throw it in or use the oven on low and broil for 40 min at the end
Would of liked to see what it looked like on the inside

Everything looks delicious, but I am "put off" by the liner. Why do you need this???
I think the liner would effect the flavor of the dish.
Thank you for your feedback.
Don't use plastic bags for cooking !
I appreciate your feedback!
It's not plastic. It's the same material used in browning bags first introduced around 1970 for turkey roasting.
Did you add liquid?
No… nothing but an Onion

Plastic does some really shitty things at high temperature. Best to avoid it.
