Honest opinion. While KH is my most beloved franchise/ip, it did give me a false first impression of aerith. Never much cared for aerith before. But damn remake and rebirth has kicked that old maiden impression to the curb. I cant get enough of this spunky witty version of Aerith. Love her to bits. Havent finished rebirth yet. 🫰i desperately hope that new version means new fate. Cant bear to lose her now
It's funny that in the original Aerith was a deliberate subversion of the perfect maiden white mage only for every followup to just play it straight again. Glad they finally remembered shes supposed to be the tomboy

The best thing remake/rebirth is that it put every character on equal footing. Forget about tifa vs aerith. I can't bear to lose any of them so far
