They better have a Valkyrie song and boss in FF7R Part 3! Otherwise the Trilogy is missing out on one of its best original songs.

This ost alone fuсking nukes every single possible other games ost in this year in general. Doubt there will be something better.
Nah, like a dragon infinite wealth also easily had one of the best soundtracks of this year. Rebirth still gets soundtrack of the year for sure.
It’s possible that FF14 Dawntrail will beat it, but we’ll see.
To be Fair is it ever truly possible to beat Final Fantasy Music?
Even if not all of the games are hitters, the music is always amazing.

I am impressed how they kept the momentum going that started with part one.
I like this version more than the Remake one!
I miss the fluttering chugging guitar which gave it that AC feeling, but the pure orchestra is still fire.
I like more the remake version.
However the Rebirth version is excellent in its way

Love this track! Hits way harder in remake though imo just because of everything that's happening in the story and the climb/song leading up to the battle. In rebirth it kinda just comes outta nowhere and is super overly epic for no reason lol.

Uematsu himself said video games shouldnt shift completely towards having film-score soundtracks and I believe he probably wouldnt like the Valkyrie Theme if he heard it. He was very experimental with his melodies and good at making extremely memorable sounds. Still, I kinda like Valkyrie Theme for how cheesy and hopeful it is.

The Valkyrie and Custom Valkyrie OSTs are anything but good orchestral pieces and not bombastic Hollywood classic pieces in a Interstellar-esque way.
I’m pretty sure he’d like this theme it’s not similar to Hollywood tracks at all tbh.

@@thatoneeco Yes I am aware. Sega has no interest in a sequel or remake and the original creator passed away which is why I said I wish somebody else could remake it.
You got cringe in the replies thinking soken is good. C'mon man. Theres a reason he's stuck only doing mmo soundtracks. One of the more generic sounding genres in gaming
