thanks for the tips for watering, I think that there are very clear ! I have a tendency to overwatering and almost killed my Hoya australis Lisa, so I just ordered a Krimson Princess, people on YT say that it is an easier plant and I will follow your advices about watering when wrinkling !
recently got into plants and this video really made me looking forward to buying hoyas in the future!!! i love how you explain everything so thoroughly and the love and care you have for these plants radiate so much!!!!💕 your shelf is so beautiful as well 😳💕
I found one today. I was so excited. I have the Krimson queen. So was really happy to find one but it's not so variegated as my krimson queen but still loving it.
@@BeesHouseofPlants and you're so right about hoyas being addictive. I'm trying desperately not to fall into the hoya hole because I don't have that kinda budget yet 😅
THANK YOU i have a krimson princess right now that ive had for about a month and a krimson queen on its way to me and i've been worried about their care because i have no idea what i'm doing... this was so helpful!!
That was great as she's my only hoya. Hasn't done much since I brought her inside for the winter here in MN.She's in a South window 15" from it. I'll try watering her like you said. Thanks!
How long is the light on? 24 hrs or do you give it dark rest??? Excellent video. You gave a lot of information that many, many , many others have neglected.
Hi, thank you so much for this video :) I bought a Hoya Krimson princess about 4 months ago and it had really small leaves that didn't grow at all since I took it home. Do you think it might need more light?
I use the same base as for all my plants: coco coir, pumice, horticultural charcoal and orchid bark. I would probably start with equal parts coco and pumice and then add them charcoal and bark as you see fit
I just got into hoya’s and purchased a new plant in a small glazed cover pot with no holes 😮😞 I brought it home and used a different potting mix and planted it in a small plastic pot.. the leaves are not as stif and firm as my cornosa splash leaves. What do you suggest?
Oh my God that’s criminal putting a plant in a pot with no holes! it’s like putting a person in a room with no windows or doors. I hope you repotted that poor plant.
You are so awesome I love your personality and your Hoyas looks so beautiful and healthy! Thank you for all the feedback I just got my girls today and I’m super excited to pot them up and take great tips from you :) thanks girlllll
Have you made a video on setting up the shelves behind you? How it is done? If not could you do one for us? I’m hoping to use lights with my plants and have nothing now. Thank you!
Hi! I do have a video on the shelves - it’s called the “plant room makeover,” on my channel and the lights, I showed how I installed on my Instagram - it’s in the highlight bubble called “grow lights.” Hope that helps!
Hi! Thank you for your video! I have a question! I just got a Hoya from someone on fb market place. And the leaves on mine are extremely stiff, if I moved them took much they will definitely snap. Does that mean it’s over watered?
Do you know why my princess’ new leaves aren’t pink? It’s very healthy and doing great but the new growth is no longer pink. I’ve tried having it on a table directly in front of my window it’s whole life until recently moving it to a table about 4 feet from window but still bright light. But still no luck.

This was really helpful! Just brought my first Hoya home and appreciate how thorough you were in the princess care.
Wow this was so helpful. Thank you so much.

Beautiful!!! I just purchased one and this is helpful ❤
Hi, I ordered the fertilizer for my plant and it's helping my plant thanks so much
Gorgeous plants! I think everyone should have a krimson queen or princess. They are pretty easy and forgiving in my experience.
Yes! Love them so much!
@@BeesHouseofPlants and you're so right about hoyas being addictive. I'm trying desperately not to fall into the hoya hole because I don't have that kinda budget yet 😅
Have you heard the saying “the queen wears her variegation like a crown and the princess wears hers like a gown”?
Love that!!
WOW!You really know your stuff! Thank you! You’re my favorite!
My hoya obsession is new. I've got 4 now, the more common ones. Thanks for the info.
Haha it's so easy to get into hoyas!
I wouldn't wait until they're wrinkly, they can survive doing that but it's not good for any plant to become wrinkly before watering

Great video! Mine is very happy in leca. I love the new pink leaves that come in
Look at that pretty pink sun stress! OMG!
This one has such a good growth pattern too!
Great video! Beautiful plant… now I want one
Thank you so much! Super informative. I just got my hoya krimson queen. 💕
Thank you for the watering tips! New plant mom here. I've killed one Hoya... trying to rescue another from overwatering.
Thank you! This video has been really helpful. 😀
Thank you for all the great tips. Love the shelves and can you tell me what kind of lights you have and where you got them? Thanks 😊
It’s always linked in the description box ☺️ the stripe lights are the ones under the shelving
Great video! I picked one up just the other day. Thanks for the info!

I like your energy
I was thinking the same thing about MG! I may just order another brand on Amazon.
let me know if you do, and if you like any other brands! :)
I just brought my first hoya today, hoya Krimson princess and need to know how to care for it...
Hi your Hoya looks beautiful! I do have a question, my Hoya has brownish leaves do you know why that is? Thank you

Hello good pm, What soil mix you usually used with your Hoya?
I use the same base as for all my plants: coco coir, pumice, horticultural charcoal and orchid bark. I would probably start with equal parts coco and pumice and then add them charcoal and bark as you see fit

My Hoyas hated leca! I had to repot them in order to save them
I picked up the fertilizer and used it on my pubicalyx and she just perked up after 1 spritz!
Mine is in pure fir bark. Fine cut. The same as my orchids
Hi! Thank you for your video! I have a question! I just got a Hoya from someone on fb market place. And the leaves on mine are extremely stiff, if I moved them took much they will definitely snap. Does that mean it’s over watered?
What is the difference between the queen and princess??? I love the pink on the leaves!!
The princess has variegation on the inside, and the queen has it on the outside!

Thank you! ❤️
wait, can someone tell me why Miracle Gro is bad? I tried googling it and couldn't find anything
Absolutely nothing. It's all preference.
💚🌿💚👍🏽
Hoyas naturally grow outside in the wild so yes they can grow outside
I thought flowers grow out of peduncles...
Thank you ! I just bought my first Hoya Princess ❤ Great information
