Omg I'm going to London in a few days and I was really excited to try out Bunsik as I've never tried the korean hotdog before. But now I know that I shouldn't have high expectations 😂 Nice review!
Thank you so much! The hotdog is expensive yes but it is authentic so could be worth a try!? If you haven’t tried the other things(tteokbokki, kimbap then Seoul Bakery is worth a visit instead!
@@CarlaHuijbers unfortunately I haven’t tried any of the korean Bbq restaurants in London but I hope to soon! Hope you find somewhere nice - let me know!
I love Korean food. my partner and I went to Korea literally for the food (and also Korean skincare). What’s your favourite Korean place in Manchester, and why is it Seoul Kimchi?
I love it too. I’m looking forward to the next time I can visit. It’s been 3 years and I miss it there. So much great food, interesting things to see… Korean skincare products are great too. For men they have such a wide range, it’s crazy. I guess my favourite Korean food so far has been from EatGoody. I often eat Korean food at home so don’t always get a chance to go out. I aim to visit all of Manchester’s Korean restaurants and make reviews though. Seoul Kimchi looks great and it’s also on my radar!
Oh I’ve only just seen your reply now! Seoul Kimchi is absolutely amazing, can’t wait for your video on it! I’d recommend the bibimbap, bulgogi and the fried chicken. The only fried chicken outside of Sokcho that I really enjoyed! Oh and their jeon is pretty good too! And their japchae. Basically any Korean dish on their menu is amazing. EatGoody has a special place in my heart from our Friday lunches and their curry deal but I was recently told that they had closed! I was gutted until I saw your video! Guess I should’ve gone to check it myself really, that ones on me.
Haha you are funny! They have just opened a Bunsik in Westfield Stratford. The waiting time was too long but I enjoyed the corndog. Agree over priced but worth a try once.
Just saw your review on the zv1 lens on amazon which led me here to check out your channel! Since I make food vlogs too, I love the tips you're giving in London! Definitely will check those out when I visit
Thank you! The zv1 wide angle lens is great, especially for food blogs since the zv1’s original lens is a little bit too long (still great camera!) I had a look at your channel and your videos are very cinematic! You’ve visited some amazing places!
I don't know why the price has to be three times that of Korea. All of the ingredients are available in the UK. The dish can be prepared with simple head office training. need a fair price
I will tell you why. The costs of labor and rent in London are 3-4 times the nearly free ajumma labor at small street stalls in Seoul. Ingredients don't turn into food by themselves.
Yes! I agree. It's so expensive and it's not the best quality to justify the price. A shame but as you said, people will try because they like Korean culture - that's exactly why I did! ^^
It's a shame but I'm going to Korea soon so will definitely look at how much better things are in terms of price and quality. I hope to go to NYC soon too - any recommendations for a good corndog?

You're right, it would be cheaper 🤣 Thank you so much for your kind words ^^
Yes, Korean food is very expensive here T.T
I'm going to Korea soon and I can't wait to eat as much as possible! ^^
