Beautiful watch by a controversial brand. I personally like Panerai, it's a shame my small wrists can't sport one, unless there's one out there I don't know about. If someone could share, that'd be appreciated. By the way, if you're a watch, history, poetry and videography lover, there's something I'd recommend watching. I'm only recommending it because it is quality. The video is a poetic take on Zenith's last stand in the quartz crisis, the El Primero movement, which goes over the history beautifully with some lovely imagery. Trust me, if you love the above you'll love it. Just search 'Watch Lyrical Zenith' and look for Watch Lyrical's video on 'The El Primero Manufacture Edition'. It's brilliant to say the least, such a unique production...
If it's just a Panerai you need & 42mm is a manageable size for your wrist, then check out the *Submersible Bronzo Blu Abisso* , he has already covered it in a previous video last month

The dial’s color is mindblowing... i have not seen thid kind of color effect not even at Pateks or Audemars... i would buy this kind of watch only to see this dial...

That sunburst blue looks so nice! 😍 Please also review any of *Nord's* watches, they are beautiful mechanical complications to look at. Also the *Cyrus* Klepcys Vertical Tourbillion skeleton look oh so nice!!
It's a fantastic watch. At $22.5k I'll have to stick to the two Panerai models I already have (111 and the new 44mm submersible just released) but I love this one, the GMT features and ceramic case. Great review. Beautiful watch.
Fantastic review as usual. I like this watch a lot. I rather like the linear power Display and the PM and AM on view... might seem simple to some...but to others Am and PM is a very important part of a watch.!
What an awesome Panerai. That one button chrono is unique for me any way. If panerai came up with this one button chrono I hope they have copy righted/patented the one button chrono. BRAVO PANERAI.👍
I used to hate Panerai because of it's bulk and image(at least here in the states with the brand being popularized by action stars) but recently I want one, both for the tool watch ruggedness and utilitarianism but also because the 53mm lug to lug fits properly suits my 8 inch wrist. Seeing men with slight wrists wearing Panerais looks awful, I think women and children can pull off wearing a watch too large for their wrist but for men to do so is silly.
I just bought the 44mm submersible released in 2022. 300m water resistance. My Rolex GMT only has 100m water resistance. But in reality....I swim with all my watches. I've never had a problem.

I want a Panerai, but like the Panerai of old, with a decorated movement, applied index , and reasonably priced. They've way lost their marbles with price and have no idea how to control counterfeits. I feel if I buy a Panerai from an AD I'm getting massively ripped off, but if I buy pre owned, I'll never know for sure if it's a genuine or a fake.
I love the dreary but dreamy ramble about the colors. Just a nonstop flow of odd stories or infos only vaguely connected by them beeing known for their color.
PAM 312 is a gorgeous watch but the thickness is just too much. PAM 1312 or the titanium version (PAM 1351) would be the models I would go for, especially the titanium one with the tobacco dial. A good alternative to this model would be the PAM 233, it doesn't have the chronograph complication but with a manual wind 8 days PR, the GMT complication and domed sapphire crystal, it's as good as it gets imo for the secondary market price. Certainly cheaper than this gorgeous blu notte.

He was a vacuous waste of vital resources, and the watch suffered from the relationship. However, it’s grown on me as my knowledge has, too. I think, without question, it’s numerals are some of the best on a watch face, and I have grown accustomed to the size. Ohh, I’ll see your marmite and raise you a schmeer of Vegemite, a spread so intense, my American kids still won’t eat an essential part of his Australian heritage!
Perhaps a too personal question: obviously, answering is your prerogative, What would cause one to "I’ve owned a 312 and a 177 and I still miss them both." no longer own them? IF they are the "most bestest," what would cause you to part with them?
Could somebody please explain which hand(s) are the GMT hand(s). I'm assuming It's the triangular one on the left subdial (not the continuous seconds hands) but if so, then what is the third (arrow tipped) central hand - would that be the Hour Counter for the Chronograph? And how does one know whether the GMT time is in AM or PM as it is not clear at all to me?
The GMT hand is the centre-stacked triangle-tipped hand which will tell you the time on the twelve hour scale. The little triangle hand at 9 tells you if the GMT hand is AM or PM
But Panerai boutique London does not get their service right, they need to learn to treat people more kindly and also to stop leaving fake good reviews for their business.

Hmmmm, which is larger, Panerai or Invicta? I may also consider putting a leather strap on my wall clock, and wearing that instead. Great presentation though as expected, and I almost like the watch because of this video as it is a nice design, but a bit too excessive for my taste.

Men with big wrists lose out on smaller watches. No nothing to be said about. Sweetest spot is to be perfect for 42 mm watches
