Admiro as pinturas de Krista , a sensibilidade das cores baseadas na natureza. Eu também pinto e é na natureza que que eu encontro as cores que enchem a minhas telas . ❤
I was so happy to get the notification of a new video from you, Krista! I’ve been a fan since I came across your first video a few years ago. Beautiful work!
For your acrylic paintings, what kinds of water based crayons/pencils do you like to use? I'm switching from oil to acrylic and have been trying to research drawing media that I can use with it. Thanks so much. Loved your interview with Nicholas Wilton!
Hi Krista. I use oils but recently I've begun to use acrylic paint. I would love to know what particular acrylic medium you use when you're creating depth and layering in your work. Is it simply a glazing medium? Thank you. Love your work.
Hi Irene, when I'm working with acrylics, I use a couple of different mediums as my standard go to. I like the liquid glazing, medium for making thin layers and for glazes. I like the extra heavy gel medium by either golden or liquid for building, texture and sealing marks. That helps! It's a bit of a personal preference, and require some experimentation.
@@KristaHarrisArt greetings from Ireland. Thanks very much for your swift reply and for the information. You manage to get the translucency and depth associated with oils. Even with all those marks and busyness there is such beauty and quiet. Thanks again.
I so love your paintings Krista. So much colour and movement. Could you tell me - do you work in oil or acrylic? Thanks so much for putting this video out!
Hi Elizabeth, thanks for the kind comment. I have been working mostly in acrylic for the last 14 or 15 years, but there are a lot of other materials that get incorporated. I am addicted to materials and possibilities and process. Lately, I have returned to oils and am loving the fluidity and depth of color. It keeps me on my toes!
Love your work. Love your handwriting!🎉🎉🎉🎉
I’m loving your paintings
Love abstract. Love your work.
Huge fan of your work. I love how it makes me feel like I am inside the thing you painted not outside.
That's a really intuitive way of thinking about the work Heather. It's what draws me to abstraction, the feelings and emotions it evokes. Thank you!
I like so much your works!New videos, please!!!I admire you much!!!Kind regards!
Recién te descubrí. Gracias; tu trabajo es inspirador.

Thank you for watching that Emma!
Thank you, Krista. It captures how we all felt.
Nous sommes bien d'accord .
Un élément de la vraie peinture, après le "voyage" de Joan Mitchell en France, s'est réfugiée chez vous .
I love the abstract paintings but the descriptions of the actually art making process are vague and meaningless.
