You said it Mike. Sometimes our curiosity and following an idea takes us somewhere completely unexpected and even undesirable. At least for a while : )
I love the idea of layers, and the idea of exploring continuously is great, but for me the best marks were made right at the beginning: such beautiful sensitive marks, and then they were covered up and replaced with nothing that came close.
Though demo was thoroughly satisfying and inspiring Pauline. Thanks for sharing your talents and skills. I have question that I hope don't mind answering: what tool were you using at 5:37? thanks again.
I really wish you had either talked during this or done a voice over. It is very difficult for one thing to remain focused on a soundless video. Too easy to forget you are watching anything at all. But most important is to have that instruction, vision, etc. about why you do what you do the way you do would be tremendously helpful. While I loved this video, I would have benefited more from your words along with it.
Thank you for your feedback. That's why I offer a course and teaching membership. So I can actually spend the time where needed to help artists who want it. : )
I didn't realize how much scribble art was on UA-cam. And ppl are lapping this up like a cat with milk. Look up indie ru, a truly talented abstract artist. I just can't with this. I feel like ppl that do this are sitting back laughing.
Pauline as a 80 years young A E artist desperately trying to move to minimalism I loved your technique, tools, and process. During the 16 minutes I must said to myself 20 times “it’s ruined” but it was not. If possible can you send my a photo of the finished piece. Love the video
Could you do a voice over explaining what you are doing and why? It would make your video much more useful to beginners.
Layer upon layer creates wonderful depth and texture! Great video!
I love watching the progression. And so enjoyed this video - thanks for sharing, but could you identify your supplies and paper?
This video is mesmerizing 😍The fact that is has no sound makes it more powerful and intriguing.
Hi. Did you fix your marks? They don't smear. It would help if you would explain all the materials you use here.
This is truly inspiring! I'm wondering if you would mind sharing what supplies you use?
Absolutely loved your video…… thank you so much for sharing….. your mark making is inspirational!!! 🥰
beautiful! What materials are you using?
I enjoyed watching this video. Thank you for sharing.
Wonderful - thank yo so much Conny!
So beautiful..so much color halfway through..then a flock of seagulls flew over..ill say no more!

So glad! Yes, we need time to develop layers, something we often forget!
Please, what paper are you using ?😊
Id love to know what tools you're using.
ty for making this. so many interesting marks and effects. were the big coloured blocks charcoal? or graphite? and was it dissolved in water?
Dave Johnson you’re most welcome Dave. I have chunks of water soluble graphite and charcoal by Derwent. Love those!
I love your work, what kind of crayons do you use?
This is amazing do you add anything to white paint to keep it fluid while you are working?
I love an art demo without all the bla bla.... (a brief introduction is ok)

@@angellove8329 Not all abstract art is the same, which means it’s all created differently.
