@@BenjaminSnowI’ve played the beta, it’s 3v3 so you have to play as a chaser but you’re also either a keeper, beater or seeker (they’ve removed a beater so there’s 6 to a team instead of 7) if you’re the seeker you just play as a chaser until you get the notification that the snitch is released, then you switch to your seeker and you have to circle the stadium and actually look for the snitch. When you find it you chase it and catch it but you have to fight the other seeker to get it and try to avoid the enemy beater because they will be gunning for you. You don’t have to fly through the hoops the snitch gives off they just replenish your boost so you can chase it longer at high speed. You catch it by just staying near it until the meter fills up then you can catch it but obviously it moves around really fast and makes sharp turns. If you catch it your team gets 30 points and they reset the game, like if you were to score in soccer/football and they restart from the centre. The snitch from my experience gets released twice so you have the chance to get your team 60 points. The game end when your team gets to 100 points or when the timer reaches 0, where then the team with the most points will win, if the timer has reached 0 and both teams have the same points and haven’t reached 100, it’s next goal wins.
Interesting point on the snitch and timer, my guess is that the timer is just until a Snitch chase initiates, and whichever seeker gets the snitch ends the game and gets the plus 150 points, and until then the seekers just build up the meter which could provide a base speed boost when the chase the snitch sequence is going to
@@FormOverFlair well its 30 points per snitch catch but the match is whichever team to reach 100 points first. My guess is that they will make catching that snitch hard (as in its speed is ever so slightly slower than you so it takes awhile to catch up to it) so matches last a bit longer

Everything I've heard and seen about this game has been amazing, apart from the latest news regarding the 3v3 in multiplayer mode and that they force us to play with 3 bots instead of letting us compete with other players in all positions. I struggle to understand this change, considering they have SP mode with carrier and all that already let us play against the AI, why also force the players to have to deal with AI in MP competitive mode as well? This is actually making me re-think if I should refund the game or not.
@@Fyrapan90 yeah I saw that.. I know this change won’t affect me too much, cuz I’ll mostly be probably doing co-op and career modes and just sometimes the multiplayer. But I can see how this might turn off people who want to play purely pvp. I hope they add that option
I had high hopes but I think this is doomed for failure unfortunately. The seeker is the most iconic position and they can’t come up with any gameplay where you ACTUALLY fly around looking for the snitch. Instead they stuck with the ole formula of flying through hoops to fill the gauge…
I somewhat agree, but don't you think it would be annoying to have a game end super early. People these days love to look for patterns and gamebreaking glitches. So it seems this is honestly the only way it could work.

I think the division between people who are new and people who are upgraded can be delivered via either Account Level or maybe some sort of Skillbased Matchmaking (which is terrible in games that have it). Though I think that Account Level system may be harsh to returning players in few years, it's still seems more valid decision overall.
I already pre-ordered. Wish it was more integrated with HL in terms of sharing player character data. I like Sebastian Sallow, but I rather use my own wand. And the trophy's we win would be cool to display them in our rooms in HL (RoR or house common room.) Plus, having games integrated to share some data is an incentive to purchase both games.

I played the closed beta… if they did not changed how you fly as a seeker, it will make people stop playing, its a horrible experience if you go in the game just to be a seeker, the other positions are very fun to play… That said, I believe this game will be a disaster
I wish games these days offered way more for pre-ordering. I've always been in love with the black sleek look of the Nimbus 2001, so I've never cared too much for the Firebolt, thus making the offer pretty pointless for me. And I really hope they make this game fast pace, the original game was too slow. You can pretty much just fly from one end of the field to the other and not be touched. I hope the passing is fast pace and has that same combo-pass uniqueness the first Quidditch game had.
11:26 I think that maybe it will be like plants vs zombies garden warfare 2. Where there’s a online game mode where you all have the same stats and one where you all have different stats depending on your items
That doesn’t make any sense when you say it only be red team or blue team, but then play the World Cup? Obviously you’re gonna be playing against different schools because if you look at the arenas they look like the other schools and their locations.
I think thats an interesting Idea, but I think it may be that it shows who hit it last and if your team hit it, it won't go for your team, but if an enemy team hits one then it will attack your team. red means incoming bludger, blue means bludger that can't hit you.

The similarities is because it was originally made as a dlc for hogwarts legacy and evolved into this game, same graphics, engine, etc. I bet they will probably even allow you to import your hogwarts legacy charecter to the game

Not every game needs to be realistic either. Realistically, a fast paced game like Quidditch works better with less demanding graphics.

I’m curious about the golden snitch system. I think catching the snitch will probably make less points than in the books and movies
The revealed you can catch the snitch multiple times and every time you catch it you’ll earn 30 pts

Nope, timer is the match timer. Snitch spawns like 3 per match. 30 points per snitch catch.

If I remember correctly, Oliver Wood said the record for the longest Quidditch match was six months.

Tested the game last weekend, immediately cancelled my preorder. 3v3 with bots filling 3 other spots on your team, and YES that’s in Multiplayer

@8:50: Those rings are set by the keeper as a path to the goal, plus it gives you boost.
I wonder if the gameplay is similar to the original HP Quidditch World Cup game with customization and story mode added.
