John nie not a bad idea hook it up to the fuel pump and hide it but I think better off just be careful where you park you know don't park in places that are sketchy and keep an eye on your vehicle excetera
You’re working too hard, boys! That’s the cheaper version of the Club. See that red dot on the right side of lock cylinder? Pop that off by drilling a hole big enough to get a small screwdriver in the hole. Pry off that red cap. A spring and small ball bearing will come out. The Club falls apart. DON’T BUY THAT VERSION OF THE CLUB!! Then mount the club on the opposite side of the steering wheel, pointing the key hole towards the dash. A thief then has no room for a drill or slide hammer. Anything can be defeated but that helps.
Misses lost the key to the club. Tried the bolt cutters and didn’t make much headway. Laid into it with a hacksaw for ten minutes and didn’t do much either. This video gives me hope. I’ll disconnect the battery and give it a go tomorrow. I kept honking the horn and I’m trying to not mess up the steering wheel as it’s a Mini and has more buttons on it than Captain Kirk’s chair.
Some people have had easy success picking a lock 30 good pair of bolt cutters put into the little Naches ten to work you do have to use a lot of force but I've done this quite a few times and for the most part it does work
I took another try with the 800 lb/psi bolt cutters. I barely made a mm dent it. I believe it’s possible but because of the design of the Mini steering wheel the thin part of the club was right over decorative and functional parts. In order to get a proper bite on it, I was damaging the steering wheel more than making headway on the club. I spent not quite $30 for a decent angle grinder, wrapped a husky towel over the steering wheel and under the club to protect it from sparks and had the thing off in maybe 60 seconds.

I work for police in uk and have one of these , they will delay thieves, anything that delays them will put them off , if it takes 30 seconds to get off and will create a bit of noise whilst doing so its worth gettting . It's a useful deterrent for theft it's not a theft proof measure because it involves more effort to deal with thieves usually will move on to the next car as far as Towing goes that won't stop the toe there's lots of times where we just drag cars or put dollies on the trailing end and charge the customer more in the end of the day if we have to work harder to tow it you just get stuck paying more

On top of a whole bunch of other high-security locks, of course. I would think even that one is too flimsy to secure something as expensive as a car. In honesty, I don't even know if there is anything at all that would discourage a professional car thief, besides filling up your interior with cement, but even then some desperate piece of shit will try and tow it away until its tires pop from the weight. Vibration sensitive GPS trackers are great for a bike or an e-bike, just locking it outside the store you're paying a short visit to, as you may have time to stop the thief before he rides away, but you can't seriously expect to have time to stop a car which can go zero to 60 in seconds. Dude...who uses bolt cutters anymore? mechanical defenses are easily defeated with simple mains grinders. You see back when the club was made there were only chord operated grinders. Anyway there are better alternatives to the club.
It also depends on where you are. Bolt cutters are commonly carried by a lot of people. In California sad to say a lot of Thieves have them they're cheap and easy to get.
Never buy one of those they're useless . These won't even use a bolt cutter Steve's nowadays will have a battery-opter grinder cut right to the steering wheel in 5 seconds cuz it's rubber and copper bend the wheel apart pull the lock off bend the wheel back put some duct tape on it. No one would never know these are useless. A real car seat will break through in seconds
Very Few Car Thieves Will Use Saws or Bolt Cutters, most of the time they will just look for a car with NO anti-theft devices and/or NO alarms.
The purpose of the club is to buy me time to reload an extra clip

Here's my "Real-World' take on steering wheel locking devices: physicalsecurityonline.com/steering-wheels-locking-devices-do-they-really-prevent-vehicle-theft/
Easier to cut the steering wheel 5 seconds
Dude...who uses bolt cutters anymore? mechanical defenses are easily defeated with simple mains grinders. You see back when the club was made there were only chord operated grinders. Anyway there are better alternatives to the club.
menemme that is true but usually thieves will just get a hacksaw and cut the stirring wheel axles are cheap and easy to use
WHAT ARE THE ALTERNATIVES I DON'T SEE ANY ??????
that's easy as. club steering wheel locks offer no chance of security against thieves
but what thief carry this
They do make bolt cutters that are just under 24 inches long easy to conceal on a jacket. Takes a bit more Force, but it is possible.
It also depends on where you are. Bolt cutters are commonly carried by a lot of people. In California sad to say a lot of Thieves have them they're cheap and easy to get.
First of all the not club..That’s a knock off
that's why it was harder to cut
It was a club somebody spray-painted black look at the handle you can see the spray paint job
Ok, so let's all just do nothing then. Is that your point????
