Your instructions worked like charm with my UK Honda Jazz 2004. I also didn't need to remove the cables via the glove box. All what was needed was the screw at the bottom to remove the first cover under the heating dials. Than the two bolts on sides and pull the cover. As simple as that :)
Thank you for the help! I had to repair the A/C switch and getting the whole dash cluster out is a major puzzle without this kind of help. Thanks a million! Apparently the A/C switch is of poor design and goes bad. It can be repaired, rather than replaced if you are good with small puzzles.
Successfully installed this the other day and the only part I got stuck on were the two bolts which took a minute to find. Awesome kit, I recommend it!
This video was fantastic, I just finished installing. It is so easy. Really the only tricky part is getting the radio out. Everything else is a breeze. It took about an hour to install and that was only because I didn't have a socket extender and I had to run to the store to buy one. Great product and a very easy install.
Just installed this in my friend's 2007 Honda Fit the other day. I'd like to thank whoever put together this video. It was pretty helpful and I would have had a hell of a time without it. The only criticism I have is about the cables for the AC. The guy in the video made that part look easier that it was... Those cables were really hard of pull out. I would recommend to be sure you understand how the cables and the levers work before you take them out or you could end up with someone getting mad at you for breaking her AC (I fixed it... it wasn't actually that complicated I just overlooked some stuff). But yeah. Good video, good product (I paid $95 which is kind of overpriced in my opinion but there's not really any other stuff on the market so it is what is is...), and the sound quality is great!
pulling the unit out after everything is unscrewed can be very tough. Its easier if you lever it out from behind with a long screwdriver as well as pulling from the font. great video
the GTA car kit is great. the customer service is good too. I bought an aux plug to mount on my dash from Radio Shack so I can easily plugin my phone to listen to Pandora :) It looks and sounds great! the sound quality is better than CD quality IMO. $99 and well worth it.
Is thered any way to remove this radio and place a Android head unite? I see that all the Double dins that internet sells is for the AC and rear defogger without passenger air bag light versions... I need help!
Hey I'm not sure what my 'Radio code' is I'm looking forward to buying this product but I wanna prepare myself if I might need a radio code for when I install it, how would I find out what my radio code is?
As long as you do not actually disconnect the power supply from the radio, you would not require the radio code. If you do need it, it should be in your owner's manual.
Help! I am trying to install the car kit and am stuck at the part where I undo the bolts from the radio. Both my husband and I have looked extensively and cannot find the bolts. What should I do?
the bolts(screws) are at the bottom,.. you can see them if you unlook and chatch down the cover under the air conditioner controls. But it is not enought: You will have to rid off the clamps as shown in the video!! you must be delicated and at the same time force a little,.. good luck!
Thanks, Eduardo. Is it possible that where you were indicating with your fingers where to find the bolts in the video was somewhat off? If I am understanding correctly, the bolts seem to be just under the front edge of the air controls. Is that right? The reason I am not sure yet is because I unscrewed one bolt but the other one is too tight so I haven't been able to check out whether I've done it right. If I am on the right track, I unscrewed one bolt using a short- handled Phillips. If I can get my hands on an 8mm, how will the 8mm tool grab a round, curved-topped bolt anyways? I don't get it. Or, did I unscrew the wrong bolt?
Yes,... the two screws are under ar controls fronte edge. Do no use philips tool... prefer to use an hexagonal tool for unscrew them, as they used to be very tight. After that, as in the video, take off the panel with your hands, be careful to not damage the panel... it needs force and care at the same time(as is whown iin the video). \Good luck
If you can't find this adapter kit, i tech you how to do yourself, pm me En mi país no se encuentra ese adaptador y tuve que hacerlo yo mismo, si te interesa, yo te enseño como
I have watched a few videos on how to do this, this is by far the most helpful so far. I don't think I need to watch anymore. Thanks!

Did you have to remove the cables at all? Please elaborate more on how you did it.
ohwerdna No, I didn't have to remove any cables. If you have a UK Honda Jazz 2004 just watch the video and do as he says without removing the cables.
Thank you for the help! I had to repair the A/C switch and getting the whole dash cluster out is a major puzzle without this kind of help. Thanks a million!

@@MG-im8ku awesome, I ordered it, how long will it typically take to be delivered?
If in United States or Canada, it will take about 5-7 business days. If outside of North America, it can take about 2 weeks or so.
Do you know if works on Ipod Classic 160gb ?

Kinda a rookie move to not disconnect the battery. Great video otherwise.
