Another thing that I recommend doing (everyone play Luca differently so this is something that I do), if you're trying to save someone from the balloon you have to keep in mind that Luca's stun last 1-2 second so when the survivour is released instantly bodyblock them so they can go far away and start kiting again,,, the hunter will probably come after you too but it's always a 50-50 chance. Remember to have fun ❤️
About that kiting around a Cypher which has the shock ground... Don't bother relying on that. As you said, hunter often goes to just shutting it off, resulting in no bigger benefit than few seconds added. Plus, you forgot to mention. This shock from Cypher is weaker every time it shocks until hunter is fully immune to it. So you can shock hunter around 3 times before he is immune and you're cornered. Best you just use this Cypher shock area as a safety checkpoint. Hunter cannot run through the entire circle without getting shocked, hence why they opt to simply shut it off. If you're safe enough sbd fast, you can do these Cypher checkpoints while running away. Simply get into spot where hunter won't insta kill you, connect closest Cypher to any Cypher, poke it, and you just created yourself a reliable one pause checkpoint. Also, a game play tip. During the game, focus on making sure that towards the end, the last 3 cyohers are as far away from each other as possible. Obvious, yes, but this is where prisoner shines. 2 cyphers close together, one is halfway done, and hunter constantly rushed after someone there. Simply hop on the one far away Cypher, connect, and pop the Cypher complete from long range. Bam, there. Now get to the gate and start opening both entrances.
A couple things I want to say first is that the hunter will get resistance to the cipher electric field after 3-4 shocks I don't remember how many and two prisoner is really good when having a wildling or forward on your team do to his ability
For me my tip is never used electric shock on hunter just to save survivor because you mostly gonna have short time of saving them trust me I seen that a lot but it better to make hunter hit chaired survivor or use flare gun
