As a prisoner main, I can say ...
My time has finally come.
Not sure if you know this but if yo ur cipher is connected to a doll’s cipher you should not transmit to that cipher. Instead that doll should transmit to your cipher. If you do this the doll don’t have to walk around looking for cipher and wasting energy.
Edit: once hunter got stun thrice you should leave that area if the pallets are gone/it’s not really a good kiting spot as the hunter will be immune to stun after that.

8th female dancer here so with dancer just put boxes in between pallets and loop them
The 48%, if the other person has it then take it off yourself! It only slows the decoding rapidly (from my expierence). Also, do not give 48% to a cipher that is not being decoded because that also slows down the decoding. Pretty much though, it is a very well made guide

Personally, I would never, never connect ciphers at the start.
I’d prefer to wait a while and then see which ciphers are being done by my teammates. That way my transmission would never be wasted.
Regarding always transmitting 48%, I only do that when the other side is decoding, or almost complete.
though i’d always go 48% (unless last cipher) you could just see if the other cipher is being decoded faster than yours, right?
@@fabisss-._.- yeah. unless the other guy is also transmitting back to you, you should see that guy's cipher being decoded faster.

Mihrimah love your videos, I’m glad someone is doing a guide on Prisoner but I strongly disagree with your strategy;
1) Only share progress when ciphering a teammate on the rescue/kite.
2) Never share progress on an active/empty cipher. You’re slowing down the coding progress. When you coding a connected machine you’re coding at 110% but once you share you’re coding between 90-100% depending on distance. It makes cipher rush so much slower.
Please Luca main don’t double decode, it’s super slow and only gives the illusion of coding faster. It doesn’t.
Agree, and never share progress to a cipher that is so far away too.
What's a double decode? I don't main Luca (I'm just randomly watching survivor guides) but I'm curious haha
Double Decoding is decoding two ciphers at once; Luca and Mech are the only characters capable of doing this normally.
Luca has his connections, with which he can either normally decode at an increased speed (110%, as mentioned) or double decode at a reduced speed (depending on the transmission you send)
Mech has her doll, with which she can decode two ciphers at once by switching between the doll and herself.
Also, I personally disagree on 2. Empty? Yes, don't share progress on empty ciphers, you're just wasting time. But active ciphers? I personally like to share progress depending on the situation:
1. Is the other cipher (for some godforsaken reason) sharing their progress with me? Then I'll take it and won't share any progress
2. Is the other cipher at 50%+? I'll share my decoding progress to make theirs decode faster so they can move to a different cipher- my personal goal early game is to get the dungeon ready ASAP (so if the match goes badly, at least one survivor can hopefully leave) so I'll take the risk of having my own cipher decode slower if it means I can finish off two other ciphers quickly.
3. If your own cipher is at 75%+ and someone's on the other end, I'd just go ahead and send my transmissions to the other cipher since, depending on the character on the other end, you could get their cipher to ~50% by the time you're done with yours
Of course NEVER share progress when on the last cipher (unless you're giving progress to the last cipher that has significantly more decoding progress/actively is being decoded)
okay wait so let me get this straight, you dont share/connect a cipher thats being decoded/not being decoded? isnt that his whole purpose tho.. to decode 2 ciphers

Hi Mihrimah! I've been watching your videos for a while now and I can say that these guides have helped me in playing Identity V especially since I've recently bought Mech and Prisoner. Thank you so much for these guides and I'm sure you've helped a lot of players who are looking to play these survivors or playing as survivors in general.
Setting that aside, I have some questions.
- Is it always necessary to transfer your progress to another cipher when decoding?
- Should you always connect the cipher the closest to the one you're decoding if no one else is decoding?
(Anyone could answer these as well and I would love to hear your thoughts on how to play him! If there are any additional tips, you can also drop them down here. Thank you so much and I hope I wasn't a bother)
hi! i know this comment is like three months old but to answer your questions:
1. it’s definitely not necessary. i don’t do it too often-
2. what i typically do is connect to a cipher closest to me to charge the shock thingy-
if someone starts to decode the cipher im connected to, ill set the power exchange thing to 48% (unless they send 48% to me, then i just leave it at 0%)

Could you do a video explaining what to do at different parts of the e.g the start of a match and the end and also what to do in case of different scenarios for example your teammate goes down super fast or the rescuer gets terrorshocked.

Do you just press from 0%-48% to adjust the transmission? Or do you have to press something else to lock the specific percentage of the transmission?
Cuz i played prisoner earlier and when i adjust the percentage, it always goes back to zero...

As the prisoner main i ask this, which one faster :
1. Transmit 48% to another cipher with low frequency then complete the other
2. Complete the 2 cipher, 1 by 1 without transmit but in the line of connect to another cipher
Never transmit to a cipher especially if it's empty or being worked on,, and if it's the last two stick to 12% or the middle one.

aaa im a new player trying out luca but can someone explain to me what his transmission loss is? bc if you decode a cipher and the transmission loss is moderate, the other cipher ure decoding is getting decoded much faster..? but that doesnt happen to a high/low transmission loss (ɷ ꒪ཀ꒪)ɷ

Pop the last cipher if someone got hitted after rescue, or pop when someone is downed while kiting, or pop when someone get rescued and got last effort (the red circle on their health bar)
There's a chance hunter will come to you if you are the one who guarding the last cipher, so becareful
Either tell your teammates that cipher is primed and the hunter is near you
Or just pop it if you sure you can kite while the hunter have detention

How much percentage of your decode that you want to give to another cipher
I mean if you give it up to 48%, you'll give the other cipher your 48% of your decoding (hence your decoding is slower now)

The hunter only can get zapped 3 times, after that hunter not get stun by electric area but from prisoner electric kinda long periods stuns (3x time stun by electric area increase 1,5s stun from prisoner. sorry if I wrong)
If the hunter finds you first then try your best to kite, especially in rank. Thats why mihri suggest us to use 39 i think, because thats the only self support for kiting if you dont get his zap at the first time
I sometimes to be honest.. got pissed off everytime i see luca downed in ±5sec at rank (first chase)

Sorry but NO I would never put a cipher at 48% unless the other cipher was almost finished it takes too much time to finish the one cipher you’re at if you do 48% bu yourself. I suggest doing 12% and then if the other cipher is almost finish you can just go full 48% if you want to finish the one that’s connected. I do not recommend going full 48% almost ever
So step 1 is have decoding team mates... yep, good luck on low tier
