About the DM with multiple limbs, there was a glitch from the 3rd anniversary event for global where one of DM’s sprites (who in the in game skin is titled “enigma”) it causes a bug to happen where one of the sprites will have multiple arms appearing, but it was fix later on, that bug appeared in chapter 4 of the event
Also there is a model for Mad eyes’ camera, but i think to see this you must use the save clip option where you can view the camera’s model from above

the iceberg forgot to mention Edgar's voice change: When Edgar (or, alias Painter) was first released in the game, he used to have a feminine and child-like voice, in a later update version, his voice was changed to a young deep moderate male voice. The reasoning for this is because Netease did not follow Edgar original creator's wishes, and received a backlash for it in the CN community.
I miss his original giggle so much :(

If you want to see the drone close. Go to Leo's memory(custom) and go outside the stairs and let Mad eyes use his POV. The survivor will see the drone.

"HOMOPHOBIA" is DEFINITELY a reference to the IDV sucks document. it was meant to be a header in the document, but because it was placed above Emma/Gardener (a character commonly headcanoned/implied to be a lesbian) in big, bold, capitalized letters, it became a meme in the fandom for how silly it looked.
I’m assuming “mama michiko” is just a common nickname that the fandom gave to geisha. However, there’s also a theory revolving around her Once skin, Chintz, where the 2 fish swimming around her represent the 2 children she was going to have with Miles, and that Miles’s father murdered her while she was pregnant. So that nickname might possibly be literal.. I tear up whenever I think about it :,)
Oh yes I know of the once skin!! I didn't include it because the iceberg was made a while before the once skin was revealed. But you're right!! It would be a good answer :)

It's not true because she's a Maiko (a geisha's trainee) in that skin and would canonically be underage. But it is a cool idea. Geishagaming did a good video on it.

At this point you probably found out but the purple pink windows are supposed to be where vera created her perfumes. And with her recent birthday letter leaks it’s is confirmed her game was set in lakeside so it makes sense that the windmill is connected to her.

Mama Michiko -> Is just a popular way of people to speak about Michiko, speaking that because of her kind nature she would exibit Motherly Behavior and all that
Murro and Mike are Cousins -> In Murro's 1st and 2nd Letter it is pretty much explained that Mike and Murro knew each other, and Mike was the person who helped Murro escape from the circus and fake his death. Mike on Murro's 1st letter tries to divert Arthur's attention from Murro during the investigation of the murderer of Hullabaloo, confirming his "death" and saying there is no proof because his bones were cremated, so there was no point on searching. On the second one, Murro says that Mike might never understand his feelings but he was thankful for the understanding of his wishes on wanting to leave and helping making it to be truth (FUNNY ENOUGH HE ALSO WARNS MIKE THAT WHEN HE WENT TO PUT THE LETTER IN HIS ROOM HE FOUND OUT THAT MIKE LEFT HIS CABINET WITH CHEMICALS OPEN AND THAT HE SHOULD BE CAREFUL SO YEAH). At both of the characters 3rd letter is also revealed they worked together to Protect Violetta from Margie and Joker, since Joker hurt Violetta emotionally somehow (probably to protect Margie???) and Mike and Murro didn't like how it went so they tagged along to protect her.
Mad Eyes Camera Models -> YOU KNOW THE FACE MODEL UNDER THE MASK? YEAH. IMAGINE THAT BUT IS A WHOLE PROP IN-GAME THAT YOU NEVER SEE AND FUNNILY ENOUGH ALSO CHANGE WITH FUCKING SKINS. Mad Eyes while watching you through his camera have a DAMN CAMERA MODEL FLYING AROUND THE MAP, it is VERY SMALL AND VERY HIGH IN THE SKYS SO IT'S ALMOST NOT NOTICABLE AND IT CRACKS ME UP THAT IT CHANGES WITH SKIN. You can see one of those in Scrooge's (Mad Eyes A skin) animation
Invisible Pallets -> This refers to people who play in low graphics, where if you are seeing a pallet from a long distance it basically does not render and it doesn't exist. Thus: Invisible Pallets.
Scary Maps -> There was a feature where gaining 3 marks of Bravery would allow you to unlock a creepier version of Sacred Heart Hospital, Arms Factory and Red Church I believe (I'm sure about Sacred Heart, but dunno about the other two). It was removed because the only way to get those 3 marks of Bravery was basically to not login for a while and get the Returning Player missions, but those were changed and the marks were removed, so they do not exist anymore, for now.
X-ray skins -> This can be referred to two things: 1- The fact some glowy skins will show their glow through walls 2- A bug where skins with veil (such as Geisha's Bride skin or Photographer's Azrael) could make other skins with transparent features simply have those transparent clothing disappear. What started this trend was Bride's Veil being put over Prospector's skin Black Tulip, where if his shirt was seen through the Veil he would appear completely shirtless.
D.M. Multiple Limbs -> Referring to the fact that during teh 3rd Anniversary event, some players experienced a bug where D.M.'s sprite (the clown skin of Joseph to be more specific) would appear to have multiple arms. There were people who experienced him to have 8 arms, the most I got were 4 lol
Glowing Map on Big Boat -> I remember seeing a translation tho I forgot, but all I can tell you is that those are old Chinese writing that are found in Wu Chang's compass. This is probably a reference to this boat being Jose's (the First Officer) father lost boat, as in his character trailer is said that one of the belongings of the boat was "A Antique Chinese Umbrella" and it does show Wu Chang there as well.
Antonio slept with someone -> It's just because when this came out people were making a fuss about it as if "Netease is trying to show that their characters have sex lmao" or whatever, but it's clearly just to show Antonio is a womanizer and sleeps with a bunch of women.
Model -> During the Forest event of 2021, when we received the Gardener Soul of the Forest B skin, there was a bug where the skin woudl NOT display and instead just a "Model" would be in her place. In-game this skin actually kept crashing everything so they patched it quickly.
Teleporting Followers in cave -> Basically if you're playing DW in Golden Cave there is a way to teleport your followers from bottom floor to top floor without much effort. I don't know exactly how to do it, but mostly you just need to stop seeing your follower in camera and she'll just pop out in the floor you are in for what I know.

When you were talking about characters being misinterpreted I was shocked you didn't mention any of the female characters in the game. And even more shocked to not see Norton included on it either. Specially in the Tonton segment. He is often portrayed as aggressive, wild, evil, possessive, toxic, etc. Often shown as bigger and more intimidating that his partners (who are mostly shown as weak in ship art). He is a very mischaracterized character in the fandom overall and I was shocked to see that he wasn't included
Also the shipping paradox refers to how everyone ships Norton with almost everyone in the game. Essentially making him a f*ckboy type character. (By the way, no hate towards the video or anything I was just shocked)

The teleporting followers in cave refers to Dream Witch, as her followers can teleport between the three layers on Golden Cave depending on where the survivor they're leeched to/Yidhra (for spawn follower) is.
Scary Maps refers to a secret menu you unlock after not playing for awhile. You have to carry a certain "mark" (idk what they are either) and it'll make Sacred Heart Hospital and Arms Factory (I think so don't quote me on that) scary looking.

Only 3 Survivors need to carry the "Bravery" mark to unlock the easter egg
marks used to be available from the old memory essence system, which was when there were multiple essences with things from one specific season inside, instead of one essence with everything in like it is now
marks were basically filler rewards you could get from the memory essences, and in game all they would do is increase points you got from doing actions in the mark category you picked (like decoding, kiting, support and so on), and if all the team used bravery marks on Hospital or Factory it would change the atmosphere to be darker like in the Beta versions of those maps
i don't think you can get them anymore, since the memory essence rework removed them as a possible pull and they're not in regular essences either

you can actually hear these for certain characters when they get bled out. I believe it works for kreacher, lucky guy, and emma. when the survs die via being bled out everyone will hear a super unsettling scream
As an Undead (sort of) main, can confirm. They feel out of place and they are TERRIFYING.
For the egg thing, it refers to Naib (mercenary) default/original skin. You can't really see any hair on Naib's default skin, and his head is somewhat of an oblong/egg shape thus some people refer to his head as an egg lol
Also for those who are confused why basement (that is hidden under the red carpet in the lobby) is so far down, during the really early parts of the game the basement already existed however as the years went by they removed it. It was only during the manor lore (Orpheus and Little girl lore) it was recently added back

For the scary maps, I'll assume it's either the beta version of the maps beings scarier that the ones we have today or it's the players who are asking NE for more scary maps.
Norton shipping paradox, I have no idea other that Norton does get shipped alot with other characters in the game like Fiona, Patricia, Naib, Mike, etc. (it's a heck of a long list trust me). Perhaps it's stating the fact he gets shipped alot or because of some controversies surrounding the ships.
And lastly homophobia, I think it's because NE is a Chinese company, thus they avoid topics like homosexuality (I'm not saying Chinese is homophobic, I'm just assuming they avoid the topic because of censorship)

Oh em gee. It's been so long (lmao) since this comment but I loved this video sm that I wanted to add 3 more things even tho it's been like more than half a year. Anyways, last note.
For the Kelvin thing, it's referring to Kevin (aka cowboy) me thinks. Ig since many ppl use mobile, Kevin's name gets misspelled alot and their keyboard autocorrects it to Kelvin.
As for the Big Mac no meat one. I think it refers to that collab of IDV and McDonald's. If yall newer players didn't know, McDonald's and IDV had a collab VERY long ago and a Norton skin (with a McDonald's theme) was made. Sadly, it was only exclusive to China (like the Vera-KFC and Coord-Nike collab). But the No Meat thing kinda confuses me, maybe it's referring to the poster-ad (he was holding a big Mac but the meat was chicken). OR his magnet design of the skin? (I can only see the skin during my small research, and not the magnet) OR (I'm leaning towards this) some prospectors played bad in the match, making the no meat thing an insult.
Lastly, addition for HOMOPHOBIA. The reason for it being in bold letters is bc very toxic players use many racist and homophobic terms, especially if they loose. (But, really. I think we all know this.) But I'm also guessing these kinds of scenarios happens so much in the China server, making it another reason for it being in bold letters.

6:10 princess lamballe is a real person she actually was a close friend with the real Marie Antoinette, Marie Antoinette was not favour by the Public So there was alot of rumours of her one of them is that she and lamballe is Lovers, this was the 18th century things like that are a big no-no at the time, There's a lot of articles about princess lamballe if you're interested you should check it out.

Im pretty sure the Norton paradox is about the community shipping him with every character, sometimes multiple characters at once.
The video itself is extremely good and overall quite informative, but I think the biggest factor is how super soothing your voice is. You should produce more narration or information-based videos like these, because your voice is just genuinely perfect to listen to. Albeit perhaps working on raising its tone for it to not be overpowered by the background music would be in good depth of an idea.

I’m not sure about this, but I feel like the thief scream could refer to that thief scream from the beta version of the game that sounded like bloody murder. It’s still in the game, but sounds so terrified that it catches those who hear it off guard

I’m guessing the “Norton Shipping Paradox” entry may or may not have something to do with how many ships he’s actually a part of! Everything from Norton and Emma, to Norton and Mike, to Norton and Naib, trust me, it’s out there.
What sucks about """the tonton controversy""" is that, as someone who considers it his otp, a lot of us that like it actually Hate when mike is portrayed as infantilized. A lot of this portrayal comes from early shippers from around late 2019 to early 2020. But now we get a bad look because of it. Its actually a really good and fun ship with a lot of matching skins and accessories (not to mention COA4) with no inherent problems. Ive even been bullied by otherwise "friendly" hunters just for having a mike icon with a norton border... its really annoying.
I'm pretty sure the $100 throne is referencing the room furniture offered in the 1800 origins store, some of them (including the throne) can cost 9988 echoes which is $150 worth

Hi here to explain Mad Eye’s camera model. When Burke goes to decode the walls to put them up, there is a camera model in the air which is what allows you to see the ground. You can find this model in the files and it’s kinda cute. sgushenka studios has a video on it in “69 facts about IDV” around the 7 minute mark.

Also, there's this theory around that Murro -or his third party who helped him escape-caused the circus fire, hence why on Murro's 1st birthday letter, Mike talks about this certain "objective" which could be Murro.

There is a theory missing from this iceberg that I think should be added. Some people think that Kurt Frank (The explorer) is Trans because if you undress his plushie, you will see that he has something similar to a binder/Crop top/bra. But other than that, there is not much evidence if the explorer was trans or it's just clothes he likes to wear

i'm not 100% confident with this one, but i believe the "scary maps" entry could be referring to how certain marks can be activated on certain maps to change their atmosphere? (the atmosphere becomes more darker and scarier i suppose .) there's a video by exilio that showcases it pretty well if you just search up "idv marks" . then again i'm not exactly sure if that's what this entry is referring to but nevertheless i still think its pretty cool to share ^^

i think the x-ray skins part relate to skins that can cause other skins to be see-through
iirc, one specific geisha skin, that when showed over prospector's black tulip skin, will show the chest rendered beneath the shirt.
also, i recently discovered that entomologist's datura skin has a small patch of fabric that allows one to see right through the item over her head

mad eyes camera model - mad eyes has an official flying camera model that appears very tiny in the sky when he's using his skill to watch survivors. it's hardly noticeable that's why many say it's a waste of resources.
invisible pallets - pallets will not render on the map at a certain distance if you play on low graphics, this throws off many people
scary maps - there are these things called marks (bravery, tranquility, friendliness, persistence etc.), when a team of survivors join a match with the same mark equipped they can unlock a special aspect of the map that has an eerie atmosphere, unfortunately the marks can only be obtained from the welcome back event after you haven't played in a month as of now
teleporting followers in cave - this refers to dream witch's leeches, if a survivor climbs up or falls down to a different floor of the map while being chased by an out of range/uncontrolled leech, the follower will immediately pop up behind the survivor
The mad eyes camera model is a modelled camera that can be found in the sky when mad eyes is using his console.

I don't know if anyone else has said this already, but about the thing with Mary and Princess Lamballe.. we know that Mary's character is based off of Marie Antoinette. Princess Lamballe was a very close friend of Marie Antoinette, and although it's not confirmed that they were in a relationship, there were rumors around that time saying that they were in a relatonship, some people at the time going even as far as making.. uhh.. 'fanart' of the two. These rumors may have partially contributed to Marie's downfall so yeah. I'm pretty sure that that's what this deduction is talking about? It could be different and they could actually have been in a relationship in idv lore though.
also fun fact about the yidhra thing: the designer that designed her actually has a couple of design theft allegations

Idk if this could be somewhere on the iceberg or not but when I first started playing idv back in 2020 there was this Aesop glitch were if you crouch you could clip into part of the cipher and the Hunter couldn’t see you. And there was another glitch I think were Aesop was on the daily free character thing for like a week.
