@@MotorSportWallOfShame I have now a 2016 KTM 125 SX - RR (factory race ready) and even in it's manual states clearly that clutch has to be used when changing the gear up or down, and we're talking about an SX Race Ready bike. A low cost chinese pit bike won't last long shifting without a clutch. I know some people having this issue because they treat the manual gearbox like a semi-auto. If you've got a 110 pit bike, that won't have enough power to mess the gearbox up and there are a few semi-auto which is not the case with 190 beast or other MX bike. Something with a bit of power will eat through the gearbox if you keep doing that.

Don’t buy a bike you can’t ride😂🤦🏽♂️
Why can't I ride ?
I had same issue with transmission on my brand new PBS 190 after only 18 hours of riding. The problem is in the shifter star that is made out of wax and not correctly engaging the gears. Mine was only skipping second gear sometimes, but before I realized Im not shifting incorrectly and its in fact problem in the transmission, so much damage was done that whole gearbox had to be replaced. Not covered by warranty...so if you are thinking of this engine, think twice...
That gutting mate luckily I've managed to sort mine before I damaged gearbox but not good selling engines like this from factory. Hopefully fix will hold up with retaining washer on
Ill give you 400
A Noob complaining for nothing this is wat I si
The 1st generation of this bike had gear selector issue. Product recall on this bike . All fixed and been fine for over 60hrs now. Faulty machine if you know anything about the 190
These bikes need better parts I have just brought a Detroit 170 and stripping of all cheap parts and putting nice bits on like carburettor all levers bars chain clutch
It's the only way you will get along with these Chinese pitbikes
there just a peace missing in the gairbox, I had the same bike and had the same problem and I went back to the shop and they fixed it for me for free.
@Zokica18 can you give more details on the fix please
@@razzledazzle8948 i wish i could but i gave it to a mechanic and he fixed it for me. The shop sent the piece directly to the mechanic so idk what it is or how it works
the fork selector arms on all these bikes are extremely poorly made cast and can snap under low rev gear changes as did on my 125cc at 1.5 hrs from new (pitted area on the arm caused break). i wont be spending another penny ever again on a welsh pt bike , nor will i recomend them to anyone . these bike hold 0 value for resale as well because everyone knows there problem machines with 0 effort to try upgrade/reaserch into this.. (explains why you pay thousands for the bike and get 1 month waranty) like seriously 1 month warranty from new is that all the faith u have in your bikes?. i think is peak speak for most when i say id rather pay a bit more for the bike just to have a half reasonable gearbox. . next bike why not spend less on the looks and more on the actual moving components! ( i think Weetabix has more strength than the metal used on this important component) . if anyone can point me in the direction to a company that can cnc make me a solid pair of theese from real metal i will be happy to pay alot to have some made so i dont have to deal with these clowns ever ever again!!! £1000 for a rolling chassis is basicaly what iv got for my money . and to to it all off the parts are never in stock ever . i spoke to someone on the phone about a new engine they didn't know what they where talking about at all , i had to tell the guy what came with the kit because he had no idea ... awfull company i cant even lie
Pit. Bikes. Always have a problem becuase. Water gets in stupid k&n filter and conks
Chinese junk buddy…. Buy honda
Would you recommend a stomp z3 160
Stomp z3 is a solid, tried and tested bike, definitely a decent bike
I had this problem by myself, argued a little with the Company and got an New engine and Now everything works very fine
I'm not great at complaining but I want to as wasted money. Going to try and fix again so I let them off silly me. Thats a good result for you glad its OK now 👌
I'll give you cash money for it, where are you based?
Must be just this brand bike because piranha 190 and ycf are reliable
Could be. Its hopefully fixed now with a retaining washer maybe they've already fitted 1.
I'm thinking it more rider problems than bike problems. What we call in the states RIDER MALFUNCTION. meaning you're stupid
Do you know anything about these engines ? Clearly not
Bossman I have been building, rebuilding, restoring motorcycle for 40 years and the way you was riding that bike in surprised that thing didn't blow your ass off of it. There is nothing about honda or other remakes of that single cylinder, slant motor I haven't seen. Your lack of maintenance, and riding style is clearly the problem with that motor. Myself and a couple of the viewers all agree that it was user incompetence and lack of skill of riding.
@cheto2952 actually had a recall on this engine and they replaced retaining washer. No problems with 60hrs on since. The problem has been rectified on new engines. You with that experience I though may have delved a little more into this issue they had with this engine on first models. Bike has been faultless since what more can I say
Put a beter engine in it and you wi be sound my brother had the same problem thats wy i got the Demon 140 still runing mint good fram on yor bike shit engine
Stick the smaller older gear box on it !! Probably to much torque for the box
It probably jumps gears because you don't use clutch on the upshifts mate. My friend is on the second 190 Beast with no problems at all👌, while other people that upshift with no clutch got issues like yours.
I've never used a clutch up shifting on these bikes nor superbikes and been only on track flat out 24/7 never had this issue
@@drift3rZUK of course its going to state it in the manual to cover all areas, I'm not saying what I'm doing is the correct thing to do but I use mine on tarmac and it's constantly up and down gears and I only use clutch to downshift, they have weak gearboxes from the start it's no secret, sometimes it's just bad luck, think I got a video of me riding mine on a go kart track on my page have a look 👍🏽
Water in the carb probably or wet air filter
Gear star jumping its a common fault that can easily be fixed now
Give away
found the problem, it needs a Daytona 190 swap or the 208cc kit
Those engines cost more than this whole bike, would be good but if I have that kinda money for it I would go electric and that would be faster and something different. I'm going to try fix with a retaining washer ASAP just left it alone for a few weeks, annoyed me it has
I’ve got one of these and had it a while with no problems 😮
Give away
Is this related just to the 190? I was thinking about buying my son the 125 four speed...
Just on this 190 as got a 5 speed gearbox. Other engines are fine
@@motomachinezuk8786 are engines with 1N234 instead of N1234 also a problem or is it just that this particular engine has 5 gears
@@potatopg3d371 1n2345. Problem has been with the 5 speed gearbox only mate
@@motomachinezuk8786 ok thx
@@motomachinezuk8786 i have been looking at a pitbike with a yx engine that has 1N234 gearbox and i heard gearboxes with 1 down rest up drums had problems but nah
I would love this bike! They're awesome, shame tho!
I would fix it up and sick supermoto tires on it to race at a local mini track!!!
BUILD EM CUSTOM MATE!
Just finished my own build a year ago 160cc with all the trick parts.
Hydraulic clutch and with
LM EXHAUST and TM 30mm flatslide carb. Change the oil every week ( i ride 5 times in a week ) its still goinn strong.
Make em or break em i find.....
I'm brain storming as I want something different, good ideas. I'm thinking engine then turn into a 3 wheeler or make a side car lol could be fun and different.
Very satisfying building own bike I bet 👌
Yeahhh cool lookin forward for that content🤘🏻😜
Does engines no good allot of problems I do fix a lot of them
add a big washer on top of the shiftstar so it cant jump out of gears anymore.... the older ones had itm the new ones not.... if not you will destroy the gearbox soon, every time it jumps out of gear it grinds the dogs of the gears a little bit.....
Am giving them it back and see if get coin back as av only dun 4 hrs and the starter moter chain snapt ma gears are worn out and there a bad ratell fom it and keeps cuting out not good when only 4 hr ride on. Am going back to ma rmz 450
Instead off burning please can I have so I can go out we my mates????? Pleaseeeeee
Hi mate give it to me and I will make it have a good home
I had a detroit 170cc and was reliable...
Daytona Anima 190 4 Valve is Miles better quality control and power wise, plus made is Japan, Other than that just needs a platform with good suspension and wheelbase
true, but engine alone cost more than whole 190 today :P .
Dude so what exactly is the problem ? Dude in your first video I seen that you said that you're going to turn the gas on and you did exactly the opposite you turned the gas off so my question to you is what exactly is wrong with the bike because you have the original stock carburetor on there and those stuck carburetors are always junk you need to put a Mikuni carburetor or a nibbi carburetor what exactly is wrong with the bike
Selector pawl is not up to job so I've added a retaining washer and it's been fine since. Still disappointed that I had this problem to sort myself with brand new bike
Yes the dayton motor cost about 1500 hundred dollars hear a bit expensive im from New jersey USA everything expensive hear
Yes probably about same price overall then, we get ripped off in UK for most things. Thought usa got cheap deals in general but obviously I'm wrong.
Ye my wpb 190 is bag of .....av only dun 5 hr on it and the starter moter chain snapt and av gone therw 3 spark plugs and sorted the gears 5 times and finding more problems not good fellow pit bikers
More problems than mine, should not be selling it. Will kill the company, gives great customer confidence 👍
Drop a 160 in it. the Chinese 5 speed 190s are trash. only good 190s are the daytona's but they cost a bomb.
Yeh daytona is another level with price. I'm hearing towards electric if I can't fix, quicker and more torque
And thats why u buy used pro pitbike
Its because your rocking the gear box ur not using the clutch to change gear it doesn't have a quick shifter its not a superbike u need to use clutch
You don't need clutch mate that's for sure ask any experienced rider
It's that shit carbe that's making it run like that
Have you know the chains and sprockets a s*** standard
Upgrade to a decent make chain and sprockets.
Totally agree, they are made from chinesium. Nice renthal chain a cw sprockets
if it is brand new and you ride like that and you have not broken in the engine there is your problem or u not using your cluch
Wasn't brand new had to split engine for a 3rd time to fit a retaining washer that was missing from the frog selector. Factory fault
The bike is good but there is a piece inssing in the gearbox... You can get the piece for like 15€
Correct I've now fitted a retaining washer and all been good since, 👍
You know what it’s fkd you have to use the clutch going up the gears and also ease off the throttle lol
No it was a factory fault and sorted it now. Never use a clutch when shifting fast on any bike
I put a 212cc same variation 190. I took all the precautions lube starter chain and the shift star washer mod. Drove a half mile blew my head light out and taillight out. The gears ⚙ don't feel right im praying its a break in issue... not sure its getting cold here.... i have 2 young boys id drive them around with the 125. They are sad i cant bring them out on the Icebear champion 212. I dont feel comfortable riding the thing myself
Use it more and buy a good bike like name brand
you just got the wrong bike
Wanting to buy one of these pit bikes, anyone know if there still having the same problem in 2021?
Apparently not and very soon the thumpstar 190 will be available and looks quite good. Same bike different clothing
Y you not using your clutch
The bike is good it’s the engine is the problem
If you do get rid of it it would be cool if you got a stomp Z3R-140 that's my dream pitter
cw have 190s but the box is n 1 2 3 4 5 might be better
I was thinking about getting this bike but i dont know about it now i had problems with my 170 aswell but only to my thoaught i was looking at the thumpster dirty s could you give me some knolege about these type of bikes
I'm hearing good reviews very similar to demon x. I want to try 1 and good price at moment as newish back on the scene, bet price goes up for x mas.
what happened on mine the gear selector went it's quite common on wpb
Was a common fault on these but they apparently have sorted it now.
Since I've put a retaining washer on selector it's been fine, simple fix really
Was gonna get this .... thank fuck I didn't bro heard horror stories about the "beast" I've just ordered the thumpstar tsr190 as they are now made in Spain there had been good reviews about them.
Also they are doing 2 strokes now ! And big ass enduro bikes ...
Yes I like that thumpstar 190 that I'm sure they did r&d and got it right.
Enjoy it mate, mine has been ok for 5 hours so I hope I've solved it with retaining washer.
They getting into 2stroke nice I shall have a look
@@motomachinezuk8786 yeah some pretty impressive bikes bro
