Bitcoin may have been created by man but it has a limited supply which will run out way sooner than gold and silver. Not to mention there is no such thing as "paper Bitcoin", unlike gold and silver.
Bitcoin will never run out because as supply goes down, the value of bitcoin will increase to meet the demand and eventually people will DEMAND bitcoin for exchange of goods and services.
Plus bitcoin is the hardest and soundest money and you CAN back your currency to Bitcoin, but Bitcoin features allows users to be used as money as efficiently as currency but with different tax rates

There have been many forms of money in history, but some forms have worked better than others because they have characteristics that make them more useful. The characteristics of money are durability, portability, divisibility, uniformity, limited supply, and acceptability. Money is the most sale-able good in a society. It is a winner takes all game and ideally, you should pursue THE BEST FORM OF MONEY. And bitcoin IS the best form of money we have created and is available since it exceeds in all the characteristics above, and also it an inclusive decentralized digital network that no single entity can control and stop.
