The reason Polyphemus says that ""Nobody" took his eye is because Oddyseus called himself "Outis" which means nobody in greek, so when the cyclops was attacked, he was screaming "nobody is killing me!"
Yes, it was Odysseus who blinded him. Polyphemus screamed for help, but his fellow Cyclops told him to go back to sleep, because "Nobody" was attacking him.
Good ol' Homer and his dad jokes.

Damn that sculpture of Night's Champion is certainly something.
Night Bloom can be such a fun hex. Had a run where "Allies" was my second highest damage output and was able to raise Roxy to fight Scylla.

I had a nearly identical run as you on the surface, except I took the shrink over the grow so my total dodge was at 30%. I literally didn’t need to move. Like I was a tank, I blew through my death defies but I held the door!
With the nightmare thing: Yes, you can skip ahead! It's kind of weird, because I'm not sure if the nightmare rewards go in a set order or anything, but the next rewards are 4 (polyphemus) and 8 (eris), or 4 (hecate), 8 (scylla), 12 (cerberus), or something, then you could get all of those in the same run.

Somehow her shrunken state looks more visually different than seeing her grow bigger

The only real issue I have with the game right now is the weapon leveling up system. Some of the weapon aspects barely do anything different unless they are high level, and I'm not a huge fan of the nightmare ressource forcing you into forcing you into one specific path. . It's not a big deal but I would love a few tweaks here and there. Does anyone feel the same about this?
