(From a gameplay perspective, im pretty sure she’s there to prevent you (or at least make it way harder for you to) from progressing the plot too quickly)
And they might even be a reference to Jem and the Holograms xD (Her guitar player and drummer are named after two members of the Misfits almost verbatum)
Just fyi, your special doesn't cost magick. You can spam it as much as you want. Only your omega attack, omega special, and omega cast (the charged versions of attack, special, and cast) cost magick by default, although there are some boons that add a magick cost to the basic moves.
The weapons have a mind of there own the forms they take are both from past and future as well not even hades can lock them because they are conected to the sisters of fate
"Hades 2, it's like Hades 1 but more." That's how numbers work, yes. Very much excited, I have this game on my wishlist and I'm waiting to get it myself, and I hope that you can make a series with it without hurting your hands like the last one.
If only every sequel followed suit. But also, this is a fairly feature complete and beefy early access launch, compared to Hades 1 original launch version.
My take on using God Mode: If you want to use it, you don't need any justifications. Even if you didn't have to worry about injuring yourself, you'd still be perfectly in your rights to play the game the way that is the most fun for you. I enjoy watching you either way. Honestly, I think I enjoy watching you with god mode on more, since it means I get to see you go through more of the game in less time. But if you did need a justification, avoiding injury is a pretty damn good one. If someone can't accept that, they're not worth wasting your time listening to.
I can't wait for this, but I'll need to be careful when playing because I overplayed the first game and messed up my hands. Always take breaks with high IPM games >_>;;;
As for "Why is Kronos going after Hades?": Hades - together with Zeus and Poseidon - overthrew him from his position as king of the gods and locked him away in Tartarus. I mean, Kronos ATE Hades, Poseidon and a few others first, but apparently he still holds a grudge :.-)
Awesome! I was waiting for you to pick this up. Loved your videos with the first part. I hope for all our sakes this game is not as hard on the hands as Hades.
i dont know some problems for me still the movement feels less good, the sprinting vs mass dashing just feels worse. but the main problem hands down right now is the keyboard and mouse controls. because they are the same as in hades 1 but needing to keep pressing Q while moving is impossible so here they need alot more work
Funny thing about beings so powerful they sire the King of the Heavens, The King of the Oceans, and King of the Underworld. They are not only really hard to kill, but keep dead. Even a dead God's eye can sometimes remain a superweapon.
It is hard to kill the titans as they are as much beings as they are concepts. You can not permanently kill Chronos unless you also kill the concept of Time or find another being to embody it.
Eh, using God Mode doesn't matter and don't let anyone tell you otherwise (unless they decide to have achievements tied to using God Mode all of a sudden which would be a departure from the first game). I mean the main character is a god so it's on brand to use "God Mode"
For your own image keeping I hope you dont mean to point to Hephaestus being in a wheelchair. The god in greek mythology who was branded ugly , fell down from Olympus for an entire day breaking his legs/ankles upon landing in the island of Lemnos permanently crippling him. who then got cared for by its people and learned craftsmanship from them ? So lore wise him being in a self crafted wheelchair is a new and healthy depiction closer to his mythos instead of what everyone does and make him some steampunk cyborg.
Never play a game ever where artists take their own liberty in design. Never watch an anime where goddesses end up looking nothing like their real world depictions
Is there a Progression system in this game where u can make your character stronger and runs getting easier by time? Like permanent Upgrades, gear or something? I rly like building a character and get him stronger from time to time
"Why!?" Because it's Eris. Goddess of Strife. She lives to cause problems. The Trojan War traces back to her instigating drama on Olympus.
I'm so glad i'm not the only one that went. Well it's eris of course she would xD
(From a gameplay perspective, im pretty sure she’s there to prevent you (or at least make it way harder for you to) from progressing the plot too quickly)
@@TheSprintingGamer Considering how fast some people are going through this incomplete game even with her hobbling them, you're probably right.
Wander: So Chronos is the villain this time, probably
Melinoë: Death to Chronos
Wander: Yup 👍
My favorite dialogue so far is when you salute to Dora, one of the dialogues are;
Mel: Death to Chronos
Dora: *DEATH TO ALL!*
Whoa, the Sirens are SO cool. That's a fight that I'm going to be singing along to once I know the lyrics
Coral Crown is SOOOOOOO good
And they might even be a reference to Jem and the Holograms xD (Her guitar player and drummer are named after two members of the Misfits almost verbatum)
KING OF BONES WITHA CORAL CROWN 🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥
So cool to see Eris and Nemesis wielding the weapons from the first game.
I love it, but it also means we won’t be able fight alongside zagreus
You is was said the weapons can appear in two places at the same time, we van only hope.@@dhruvrathi7116
"[...] used to call him (Poseidon) wave daddy" thats pretty accurate... I used to call Dionysus as "Daddynisus"

Okay, I love Eris. Her whole design is awesome. But I especially love the fact that she's got her gun back, from the first game.
The weapons have a mind of there own the forms they take are both from past and future as well not even hades can lock them because they are conected to the sisters of fate
One amazing build I’ve found for later on, is Apollo’s Attack Boon, plus the Axe!! The attack practically takes the entire screen!

12:35 that arch symbol is the capital Omega letter.
bro the music with the sirens slap
The term "wave daddy" has been ingrained into my mind from your Hades I let's play, haha!
Supergiant posted the soundtrack on UA-cam

me when i saw scylla: oh no
well frick, now I've got another game to add to the wishlist
When I saw the demo for this pop up I KNEW you were going to be uploading it today. :)

Full Series? I think that i speak for many when I say that this would be cool
Awesome! I was waiting for you to pick this up. Loved your videos with the first part. I hope for all our sakes this game is not as hard on the hands as Hades.
Please please play more❤ I remember when you streamed Hades , Now it almost feels nostalgic
Nice surprise to see it come out this orning
I was waiting for you to cover this
Man I want to play but I’m gonna wait until it’s not early access
me to early access is ood that you get to see the game but it misses a lot of stuff that will be on release
lovely to see wander play this even tho i already bought it the second it came out
To those who caught the stream, did he get to the flashback?
i dont know some problems for me still
the movement feels less good, the sprinting vs mass dashing just feels worse.

If you're trying to get away from enemies, then you need to use Cast a looooot more. Just drop it whenever you can and it'll keep enemies away
WHHHHAAAAAAATTTTTT!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSS PLEAAASSSEEEEEE
Freaking Final Fantasy 14 up in here with these damage areas
Only thing I hope for is cosmetics for this new gal. Weather its like Dead Cell or something else.
I thought that Zeus killed Cronus a LOOOOONG time before all the other gods even existed. Didn't he?
Funny thing about beings so powerful they sire the King of the Heavens, The King of the Oceans, and King of the Underworld.
They are not only really hard to kill, but keep dead. Even a dead God's eye can sometimes remain a superweapon.
They didn't really killed the titans, they just dismembered them and threw the body parts all around Tartarus to prevent them from reforming
It is hard to kill the titans as they are as much beings as they are concepts. You can not permanently kill Chronos unless you also kill the concept of Time or find another being to embody it.
Every lore I've read had Zeus kill him yes.
He's a titan but he is capable of being killed.

Early access and soo good btw
would be right to asume when the game is fully out it will come to switch 2?
Probably going to avoid all your coverage of the game so I can play 1.0 with a clean slate. But I can't wait to watch when that time finally comes.
I really want to play it but i also really want the game to be finished first ....
Can this game even have a happy ending? It's a rouge like chronos has to be at the bottom every time you go down, so how do you justify future trips
Aintnoway bro didn't even make it to the first boss on his first run, let alone the second
There are far less boons available in this version. Its way harder compared to the first one
Moooar this
How is this game on keyboard and mouse?
Are you going todo a series on hades 2 watched the one on hades 1 was very gud and this game looks awesome
My one, teeny, TIIINY gripe, they could have made Scylla a LOT cooler.... I'm hoping Charybdis is a BADASS.
SO HYPE!!!
Wave daddy!!!!!! yes!!!
Schelemeus
yay
Early Access does not equal launch
I'm not touching anything with a diversity wheelchair
For your own image keeping I hope you dont mean to point to Hephaestus being in a wheelchair.

@@pandatree66you would have a point if this game didn't do a lore accurate Hephestus.
Lol.
Half a game 30 bucks
Being launched into Early Access clearly conveys that the game isn't finished. If you would rather wait for 1.0 release, then just do that.
This game has more content than the original game already. Heh.
"Hades 2 Is Even Bigger And *Better* *Than* *The* *Original* !" Nope.
Hades 2 is so much worse than Hades im so many aspects. First really bad game from Supergiant so far.
Is there a Progression system in this game where u can make your character stronger and runs getting easier by time? Like permanent Upgrades, gear or something? I rly like building a character and get him stronger from time to time
There are multiple of those systems, but it's not as incremental as Rogue Legacy.
HADES II is just freakin awesome playin this game on my steam deck right now I’ve been playing it for over 4 hour already 😃
