What would be the word for 2/3 of an army killing the other 1/3? Trecimation? I'd say that's really messed up but it feels like half the companies I worked for.

Odd how the Sons of Horus are the closest outside of the Night Lords in being the Ganger Legion. Thanks for the video.

The Sons should have employed squad cars, for all their love and adherence to that unit grouping. Space marines of Horus piling out like Keystone Cops, although I know these topknot astartes wouldn't be amused. Anyway, don't watch this episode while taking a shot of booze every time GDN says “squad” otherwise one will come out at the end feeling like Lorgar did after his attempted coup on the Warmaster.
Organization and operation more in line with traditional functioning militaries than other legions, with adaptive focus on strategic tactics until such fluidity presented one of the most efficient militaries in human history. It's expected that Horus' legion was one of the most highly populated and heavily geared up; for they would have to be, to initiate and lead the Heresy. I wonder if and how the Sons' Seekers and Destroyers came to fare in clashing with the Space Wolves' Horns of Winter and their Destroyers, especially.
The XVIth's white legionnaire power armour with red Sauron eye chest crest gives me vibes of extremely deadly stormtroopers (with precise aim) in service to a Sith Empire. Red-glowing helmet eye slits ominously compare to Cylons and foreshadow corruption from the Warp.
I don't think I have either a preference towards or repulsion from the Sons' form of operation when compared with the other legions. They simply own their particular 'way', just as all the other space marine legions are identifiably distinguished by how they go about their war-making. Their chosen tactics obviously excelled at vanquishing their opponents including against their own cousin-astartes of the Imperium. By the way, Narrator, thank you very much for carrying on this series with weekly episodes, for more than thirteen months and counting. Exceptional work. Of course, this episode was just as entertaining and informative. If you've ideally had a terrific weekend, I hope it carries forth into your next week. The Emperor protects.

@@donright4492 Truly, don. Much less: Judge Death and the Dark Judges. And an Imperium live-broadcast crew following them around, shooting the 40k equivalent of replacing the COPS TV show, would be next-level.

Shortly before facing the traitors, the Emperor used their own gene seed to replace them with new Primarchs (and with new Legions), which however the Chaos Gods, as done before, throw them on distant homeworlds where they still manage to survive and form on their own, later reuniting with Primarch Roboute Guilliman: Devortus Gault and Red Scorpions (III) on Zaebus, Theseus and Minotaurs (IV) on Artherion, Murad Agha and Black Dragons (VIII) on Burso, Severin and Doom Eagles (XIV) on Cailleach, Mikael Corveda and Blood Ravens (XV) on Aurelia, Kaius Krav and Scythes of the Emperor (XVI) on Sotha, Arpaza and Mortifactors (XX) on Posul.

I agree, when I first read Horus Rising, and saw the division’s within the legion , you could see how easy it would be for the heresy to happen.

The legion's structure was begging to be corrupted but I'd be lying if I said their flawed structure dodnt make them just that little bit cooler to me as I read about them.
