Came to watch the video after reading the chapter in your book talking about the MACD. Thanks for your clear explanation and sharing valuable information.
I had an epiphany about the zero line about 3 weeks ago so I changed my trading plan to only take trades going short after its crossed the 0 line and has a strong histogram momentum signal, same with Longs but also look for when the zero line is approached very closely then shoots off in the other direction. There's defiantly something to the zero line!!
I prefer to sort a big list by MACD and scroll down to symbols near 0 and browse thru those stocks. You could sort ascending and start just below Zero and then look at all stocks until they get too far from 0.

What about if it is 50 rsi line and macd zero line? I heard a lot of rsi 50 line with stochastics and macd supporting that trend past the rsi 50 line? If it is zero macd cross with the rsi 50 line do you find that gives an extra boost?
@@investlikeapro7977 20 rsi means oversold and over course a good spot to buy in the 1 hour chart or 1 day or 1 week chart. But I found depending on time charts. But a lot of momentum happens a lot more at the crossing over the 50 line.
@@investlikeapro7977 never hear of 20 period. I've heard of 21 period. Do you find 20 period gives the best signals? I presume you then make your macd 20 period also?

Yes, absolutely. Very important line!
Has a scanner been created to find zero line (macd crosses)? It seems that's where the largest moves happen.

I assume you mean if the RSI is holding the 50 line (20rsi). Then, answer is yes. It strengthens the case for the MACD zero line crossover signal.

No I use standard 12,26 Macd. I I like the 20 RSI for determining the strength of the trend.
But---WHAT IS the Zero Line????How was it established????????????
The Zero Line is merely a reference point. It is the level where the fast moving line (12 ema) crosses the slow moving line (26 ema).
