- Without a doubt, German tanks of the Second World War are one of the most popular topics for modelers of combat vehicles. For this reason, when I visited Germany during my Weathering Tour 2022, I dedicated a workshop specifically to WWII German Tanks, using the new WWII German Tanks Solution Box.
Our friends at Modellbau König in Germany kindly hosted and organized this workshop, which I delivered to 8 modelers. We all worked together, step-by-step, to weather a Tiger I with Zimmerit, from the first application of a filter, right through to the final effects.
In this video, I show the correct use of each weathering product contained within the Solution Box. I begin with the application of a filter, while explaining their key features. Moving on, I show how to apply enamel washes, as well as chipping and streaking effects. Finally, I demonstrate how to use pigments and splashes, as well as oil effects, that can be applied on any model.

Los vehículos alemanes de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, son sin duda los modelos más buscados por los modelistas aficionados a los vehículos de combate. Por ello, durante mi Weathering Tour 2022 no podía dejar de dedicar un taller especialmente diseñado sobre estos vehículos con el uso de la Solution Box durante mi parada en tierras germánicas.
En esta oportunidad, fueron nuestros amigos de Modellbau König - Alemania, los anfitriones y organizadores de este taller que dicté junto a 8 modelistas donde trabajamos todos juntos siguiendo el paso a paso para trabajar con un Tigre I con zimmerit desde sus colores base, hasta el final.
En este video te muestro el correcto uso de los productos que integran la Solution Box, empezando por los filtros, su uso y técnicas la correcta aplicación de los lavados, así como el chipping, efectos de escurridos y no podían faltar los pigmentos y sus diferentes formas de aplicación, los splashes y finalmente, un proceso de efectos de grasa que se pueden aplicar en cualquier modelo.

Your products are fantastic, Mig. My mom was a oil painter for years, she never used a mask and always coughed when painting, we lived on a farm here in South Africa and there was no internet back then to warn you about how dangerous that is, she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer a few months back. People need to respect these chemicals.

Gran video como siempre. Estoy recién entrando en esta parte del mundo del modelismo y haciendo mis primeras maquetas con weathering, y resulta complejo al principio entender como coexisten todas estas técnicas.
Si me permites un feedback constructivo, sería importante si estos videos muy largo puedan contar con secciones, para saber a que parte del video saltear de acuerdo a la tecnica que quiero revisar

Los vídeos tutoriales son muy buenos, gracias como siempre. Lastima que los estas haciendo en inglés. Una vez que tenemos un genio que habla español en el modelismo lo tenemos que traducir. Gracias de todos modos.
