Is the 1M clone with carbon fiber roof or the actual 1M steel roof installed? In your experience does the 1M with v8 feel better than an e92 m3? I wonder if it's worth doing the conversion for me.
@@in54ne82 It has steel at the moment. We will fit a carbon one soon. We own both and honestly there 1M V8 is more fun!

My E92 Evolve plenum may have not added any power, but it sure made the car more enjoyable. My exhaust is stock because listening to induction noise is way more intoxicating than exhaust volume.
So nice to be reminded of the extremely long, and ever growing, list of cars which are "not available in the US".

I mean I get it.. he’s said he isn’t a BMW guy and seeing so many cars over his career it’s hard to remember every detail. It’s just funny seeing 2 M3 CRTs a week apart and seeing him react to seeing one for the first time in the latter.

What Eventuri is to the intake world is what Akrapovic is to the exhaust world. Now imagine an A90 Supra with an Eventuri intake + a full Akrapovic exhaust…

Love the cars, but more than that I love the garage, it has those skylights and really makes the place bright and truly shows off what the cars look like under natural light

What Eventuri really needs to do is start releasing a line of 3d printed lower tier intakes, that will make them take over the industry.
Or, better yet, release print files for sale.
Not worth it, many third test have been done to their filters, if you move the reverse cone to a regular position with the venturi behind, it flows better than the reverse cone, and filter with the same area and 6” id with a velocity stack behind flow even better than the same Eventuri combo. Theres a TON of great data from an engineer who tested it, look for MyGolfMK7 eventuri reverse filter test.
And if you are interested i already sell that style of filter with a velocity stack, and also outflowed an eventuri intake in my simulations 🤭
@@spdcrzynot worth it, I reengineered and tested in sim, a filter with the same area and a velocity stack behind (not reverse into the “venturi” like the eventuri) meaning, a 6” ID eventuri filter in the regular position with a shorter velocity stack behind them (like Vibrant filters) with the same filter area flows better than a eventuri setup, check MyGolfMK7 Eventuri reverse filter test on google, his real world data also shows the same
I designed a filter with less compromisses in space vs a big eventuri style housing connected with a semi/open airbox with headlight intake, -35F IATs vs an aftermarket big filter/airbox for Mustangs, and packing more filter area in there than a reverse cone could due to the big size of the reverse housing
For real, I can’t believe people are paying 1600 for intakes for their Toyotas, insane

I'm conflicted...i like BMWs. How they look and how they perform when they are working correctly. I would never own one since i'm not proficient at working on them, especially their electronics. I totally love seeing this V8 M1 and the tuners/car builders that can master the BMW platform💪🏆

I think he went to these places at different times. Eventuri is in the UK while EAG is in the States. He just released that video earlier.

The Eventuri intakes sadly has been third party tested to work better without the reverse cone, shown in a lot of test.
Might flow better in CFD, but not in real life flow test and dyno test vs a filter with the same ID, same filter area and a velocity stack style reducer behind, and with a similar ducting for lower IATs
Do Eventuri flow better than OEM? Yes! But they are outflowed by a regular non-reversed filter with the same filter ID and area and a regular “venturi” velocity stack (for example the 6” Vibrant and their velocity stack, or SunChaser 3D printed filter)
And do NOT believe me, do your google and find out real world test and simulations that shows it.

Dang Larry you must be a bit disconnected or not up to speed you you kinda just let your mouth kinda just run and I’m not trying to disrespect you by no means so don’t t as me it as that please. The bmw z8 are very sought after , to by one your looking at 129k or more for a clean one. There may be ones a bit rough around the edges for cheaper but far as sought after yea they are more than but they didn’t make a large number to to it being a exclusive model.

Eventuri makes some of the nicest intakes for European cars sure but they really don't add power. Especially on modern turbo engines. They actually lose power compared to stock.
Toyota really dropped the ball with the new gr86 in the looks department. It’s ugly, it looks cheap like a Hyundai or Kia. I know it’s an amazing driving car. But no body kits out help it. The previous gr86 is really good looking.
