I'm confused and hope you can help me out. I have a Walksnail HD pro camera/vtx and the gimbal showed up today. The Avatar L goggles should be here in 2 weeks. I have an Arrows Prodigy 1400mm motorglider and its 6 channel receiver. What I'm confused about, is how to connect the vtx camera to the receiver. Everything I see on videos shows it being soldered to a flight controller on a quadcopter. I don't have a quadcopter or that chip. What do I do?
Can’t believe I ever stopped thinking about the hobby ! I come back and it’s just as if not 10 x more awesome n exciting. U guys were and always will be the best n most inclusive rc flyers n creators out there!!
Tiny whoops are some of the most fun you will Have in RC. I have a dozen planes, a car and drones all the way from mavics, a 5” racing drone, a long range fpv drone, and an professional ciniwhoip, and enjoy them all, but nothing is able To beat Flying almost anywhere you go, from your bedroom, to playgrounds, all the way up to unused Ski lifts.
1000% agree! It’s one of those things that you’ll never get tired of and always want with you. it never gets old :-) Can’t wait to see classrooms filled with these. :)
At first glance I was like wait a minute this is 2024... but for the price you guys include a set of R-line packs, and you're aiming for entry level. So I get the design decisions with the lower Kv, heavy duty canopy, no-solder aio, etc; overall it's a solid value for beginners. Only change I'd make is using elrs. I would not feel right starting a newb off with a multi-protocol setup. That almost gurantees wasted money on the multi-tx when they take the next step in the hobby, which will very likely require elrs.
ELRS is fantastic and we use it all the time with our large size aircraft and for long range. For entry level and indoor micros, D8 works fantastic. we also chose this protocol to couple with the pocket CC 2500. The 2500 series radio gives you options for many other protocols instead of just ELRS. This means a new hobbyist or a teacher in a classroom can have one radio that can easily fly both multi rotor and fix swing with economical receivers whether it's from fly sky, Futaba, Graupner, FR sky, and so much more. no doubt ELRS is the most advanced protocol out there. But it does limit people that are getting in the hobby, especially if they have scrap and pieces of other airplanes. You can even fly our EZ series aircraft from this radio. For $39, you can add the ELRS backpack on the pocket and have the best of both worlds. Hope this answers the question and the logic. :-)
@@FliteTest To me it would make more sense to buy the ELRS version, and get the 4in1 module which includes the CC250 and 3 other chipsets. Even with batteries and the extra module it's the cheapest way to fly pretty much everything.
So what makes this so special? I tried to fly different iterations of the tiny whoop and gave up. They were twitchy and unstable and no fun to fly. Other than some newer technology what makes this more stable and easy to fly? Michael is a professional at flying drones of all sizes and makes it look easy.
I remember the inductrix. I have a “newer” whoop now (it’s made from spare parts from other projects). I do wonder if this will be a good method to get one of my friends into whoops tho. They live in the city so they can’t really fly outside too much but I think this might be enough.
Hey bud! YES! the inductrix! lol Also, this is a perfect solution for your friend for sure! Its smooth and it has the ability to grow with people at their pace, which is fantastic! City life, no problem!
Hey FT guys! I have been working on you F 14 recently and I noticed you guys didn’t have and master series jets. I completely understand if you deny me, however I think it might be worth it for you guys to make an F-111 kit. In many f 14 videos people were commenting on the f14 swing wing mechanism in an f-111. I personally understand if it is too complicated but possibly you guys could put the same swing wing in an f-111 body. Personally the f-111 is my favorite bomber and I would love to build one. Again I completely understand if it is too challenging however I merely hope you guys think about because it is like a dream come true for me
Love to see more people picking up whoops and ripping around wherever they happen to be. I take my meteor75 pro with me to work some days. Its an absolute blast if i find myself hanging out next to some train depot waiting on a phone call.

why does it look like its skipping frames. . . . . should have a great frame rate compared to digital . . this video makes analog look worse than it actually is . . . still love though !

30 FPS dvr, most likely, and then YT compression. My video looks like this if I try to edit it on my tablet instead of my pc. A lot of newer DVRs record at 60fps.

I was thinking the exact same, must be a converting issue or something 😦 Or wrong preset rendering the video.
That must be a glitch with the video editing software they used, it probably just didn't handle the mpeg DRV footage correctly.

How is this flite test model any differnt then the original mob 6
We updated the frame, the tune, and the configuration. It is definitely based off the mob six which is a great platform for beginners.
