you all probably dont give a shit but does any of you know a method to get back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot the login password. I love any tricks you can give me
@Fisher Lee Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Great video ! Just wanted to say Hi , and let you know how much I enjoy your videos ! I know I am old ( 71 ), been playing since 1963 . It is so nice to hear electric guitars without Super Distortion and gain . It is a pleasure to hear someone play with dynamics and good taste , and really hear all the notes and emotion . Keep up the good work and Rock on !!
Always great to see someone older than me (66) who stills enjoy great guitar! We may be older, but we got to see ALL the great bands, yet live long enough to hear, and appreciate, Mr. Buck!
No matter what guitar you play, you are one of the best guitars players I have ever heard. Phrasing, vibrato, bending, tone... everything you play is unbelievably tasteful. Your playing clearly shows what's the difference between a good guitar player and an all rounded musician. Thank you for sharing your music!
Yamaha Corporation of America Hey Yamaha, when are we getting this in store? Right price and I am in! Great work on the quality and look of your gear past and present. CB is a great ambassador and he is worth a full blown signature..👍🇦🇺
Lovely guitar Chris.... your playing is really hitting new heights... for me you are the new Gilmour... tastefull, soaring and emotive.... you extract the tone from the guitar.... nice to have friday Fretworks back!! lol
My Revstar Upgrades: Chrome locking tuners, Chrome roller bridge, Chrome Duesenberg tremolo, Dimarzio SONIC ECSTASY engraved pickups, Seymor Duncan Triple-Shot Rings, mirror pickguard and truss rod cover, Chrome knobs, magnetic slide bar, killswitch, decorative stickers... with TLC the neck is great now.
It always surprises me when I read comments on yamaha guitar videos that people don't seem to know of them or surprised how good they are. This goes along with what the team over at Milton Keynes say to me that even now yamahas still just have just a relatively little circle of followers. Which is mad when it's generally acknowledged by guitar players ;collectors, luthiers et al and those who just know guitars that the custom shop made yamaha sg2000 is widely regarded as one of the best if not the best electric guitar ever made. This guitar you have looks and sounds cool
Hi Chris, I am a crumbly old geezer but I've watched quite a few of your videos and I feel you've got a rare blend of technique and soul. The former is out there in spades. The latter much rarer. UK SRV, not said lightly, and no doubt more one day. Good luck sir!
Awesome playing, brother! I work at a music shop, Hickey’s Music Center, in Ithaca, NY. We’re a Yamaha dealer and carry the Rev Star. The 502 is my favorite, at the shop. All models of the Rev Star are truly incredible. Definitely can’t go wrong - those 2 P90s sound just incredible, and surprisingly versatile. Great fretwork, indeed! Also - beautiful rendition of what you did with Desperado. Super cool, man. - John FitzGerald
Onwards and upwards Chris, you are an inspiration in your style, performance and personality. You are still young and I feel you will want to get even better than your already master guitar playing. You can make any well made guitar sing.
very fun to watch! happy for your new guitar and really enjoyed hearing you play. I was drawn to your picking style and how you switch from using/not using the pick. gave me an 'a-ha' moment with how you draw out your tone. I'm a fan!
Wonderful news Chris congratulations you deserve it! Hope 2020 brings just as much success if not more than what last year did. You are the reason I bought a Revstar 502 and I love it. Love from Australia!
Honestly Chris totally deserves a signature model for all the publicity he's giving this badass guitar. Although I actually discovered HIM through the guitar!
You play beautifully. I love listening to you. Never mind the technique, you have the "it" that is so rare. You play fancy stuff but it is always beautiful.
You are an inspiration. There is only one other guitarist whom I've found on UA-cam who makes me want to pick up my guitar. So much of what's on here is stuff for which I'm not suited, that I appreciate (at least sometimes), but to which I don't aspire: playing all the notes, as fast as possible. It's refreshing to encounter as tasteful a player as you are-an expert who is still a modest and affable human. It would be amazing if you'd do a little tutorial on palming the pick and switching between hybrid and flat picking. You do it so seamlessly, and to such great effect. The finger rakes are a sublime detail of your playing.
Thank you Steve, that’s very kind of you. And yeah, definitely - I get a lot of questions about that. I’ll definitely look to do a video on that soon 🙂
Holy shhhhhhmoke! That is gorgeous and sounds wonderful... you definitely don’t need any other guitars....... uh about the Highway One? Living the dream Chris. Thanks for sharing!
Have to second the previous comment about releasing a recording of you playing guitar. Your playing really is so expressive and musical. Personally I could listen to you and a guitar for hours and hours and hours........🤙🏻
This is fantastic!! I love the inlays from the 620 and the p90s from the 502. The only thing I’d like is a p90 in the neck and the humbucker in the bridge with those same inlays and the burnt charcoal finish.
In a sea of copycats and bland guitarists you have a unique sound. The sliding tremolo thing you do is instantly recognizable. That is a rare and difficult thing to accomplish
Chris, your RevStar videos led me to investigate this guitar. I have since purchased the RSS20 in black and an RSS02 in sunset burst. They are far and away the best solid-body guitars that I have ever owned. They're perfectly balanced, reliable, and incredibly versatile.
Looks beautiful and sounds amazing Chris, so well deserved. Loved the jam at Norman's, also loved your response to the person who criticized you for playing it instead of opting for something rare off the shelf.
I have a Revstar 320, I absolutely love it! The body shape, neck, sound, playability. Nice guitar...but what I want is your hair! LOL Nice playing. When did Billy Corgan become a Yamaha guy?
Been wiring two volume Teles like that for years. I make a non-adjustable tone circuit from a cap/resistor combo. It’s like a tone pot on full but it helps filter the signal a little to shave off the piercing highs.
I just cried man when you played desperado.. A week after Glen died I was visiting Nashville TN. The town got 7” of snow and was completely shut down. Except for the Ryman. That night almost everyone cancelled and Vince Gill came and played Desperado as homage to his good friend. Probably the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard...
1st time viewer. I really loved the rendition of "Desperado", and the way you blended the tones. And I'm hearing you pretty true, as I have you playing back through an MSI laptop, with a Steinberg interface, and JBL LSR-308 monitors. Again, thank you.
First off - absolutely beautiful guitar - I am also a big fan of the Revstar ( own 2 of them). Second - may I say that you have amazing talent. That version of Desperado was sensational, and everything else you played was played with absolute emotion and heart. New sub and fan for sure.
Love it. I am exhausted by boutique crazy guitars. Sure I admire luthiers, but companies like Yamaha make sure if you want a great instrument you can have one. So thanks for showing that Yamaha is cool too.
My first guitar purchase of '19 was a beautiful blue Revstar, because of you're playing them. I said on an IG post of yours that one day I'd be buying a Chris Buck sig strat when you entered team Fender, but between us, I'd much rather be playing a Chris Buck sig revstar. And trust me: I WILL be bugging the crap out of Yamaha over social media until this comes to fruition. All the best, mate!
Hey Chris, Just want to Thank You for your videos and Awesome inspiring playing and tone. All the Best with the new guitar. Stay Well my Friend. Jack...
You legend.....
Unlike Clappers!
you all probably dont give a shit but does any of you know a method to get back into an instagram account..?

@Fisher Lee Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now.

@Fisher Lee It worked and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much you really help me out!

Glad to see an OG. I'm 62 so I'll get off your lawn now. Keep on rockin!
Always great to see someone older than me (66) who stills enjoy great guitar! We may be older, but we got to see ALL the great bands, yet live long enough to hear, and appreciate, Mr. Buck!
I agree kenneth guitar distortion is tiring. I love to hear the guitars clean beautiful tones.
@@parkerfilms1 There or younger guys (33) enjoying his playing too. Chris inspired me to improve my playing. It's not too late, I think.

Your playing clearly shows what's the difference between a good guitar player and an all rounded musician. Thank you for sharing your music!
That aged goldtop finish is amazing! THAT guitar needs to go into production!
I’d buy one tomorrow. Yamaha - you listening?
Yamaha?!
Yeah, Yamaha prob don’t even care. Wakey wakey yamaha.
@@TimCz83 I would buy one tonight. Why would you even wait that long?! 😂👍🎸😉. It is gorgeous and just plain right.
YAMAHA does produce revstars with a gold finish
Enjoy and keep up the incredible playing, Chris!
Yamaha Corporation of America Hey Yamaha, when are we getting this in store? Right price and I am in!
Great work on the quality and look of your gear past and present. CB is a great ambassador and he is worth a full blown signature..👍🇦🇺
Make this guitar happen in nitro
I always believe that Yamaha amkes great guitar! Still have the 1984 st360r strat that was passed on me and its great as usual!
You’ve got another buyer here make this happen
Yamaha please make it happen?!
Love that it's a goldtop. Wish you'd release a solo guitar album of you playing stuff like this (Desperado). It's quite lovely.
jltrem his Take it to the Limit is one of my all time favs
especially the circuit
Second this. Such an amazing player though I'm sadly not into the bands he's in. Would buy in a second a solo instrumental album from him.
Totally agree with you there, on all points! 👍
Just lovely! That Desperado rendition was jaw-dropping. Yamaha is the most underrated guitar maker today.
Try the last 50 years!
Desperado was stunning!
Lovely guitar Chris.... your playing is really hitting new heights... for me you are the new Gilmour... tastefull, soaring and emotive.... you extract the tone from the guitar.... nice to have friday Fretworks back!! lol
Love Buck and Evans but I would love if you'd record a side project of instrumental guitar.
@Chryptopher He and andy timmons together would be awesome, idk maybe he and mateus asato could be cool too
Brett Wall agreed!
Imagine a Buckethead - CB collab... with Cody Wright on bass, man...
@@pedjailic782 why on earth lol, buckethead playing is completely different.
My Revstar Upgrades: Chrome locking tuners, Chrome roller bridge, Chrome Duesenberg tremolo, Dimarzio SONIC ECSTASY engraved pickups, Seymor Duncan Triple-Shot Rings, mirror pickguard and truss rod cover, Chrome knobs, magnetic slide bar, killswitch, decorative stickers... with TLC the neck is great now.

Your inspired playing pushed me over the top and I finally ordered a 502T in Bowden Green. Anxious to get it. Love the channel. Well done.
Love your playing Chris. You have an original and very musical voice on the guitar.
Hi Chris, I am a crumbly old geezer but I've watched quite a few of your videos and I feel you've got a rare blend of technique and soul. The former is out there in spades. The latter much rarer. UK SRV, not said lightly, and no doubt more one day. Good luck sir!
Beyond being a ridiculous talent, you’re a class act. You deserve all that success brings you.

03:43 reminds me of John Mayer's "You're gonna live forever in me". Sounds awesome.
zen729 The song he was playing was "Desperado." A stunning rendition at that!
@@tjzambonischwartz You're right! I hadn't heard it before, but I'm listening to it right now
Me too instantly, but yeah Zamboni is on the money
All the "kids" on You Tube think Mayer is an original....NOPE.
3:43 to 5:02..... perfection. Great jam at Norman's Rare Guitars too.
Onwards and upwards Chris, you are an inspiration in your style, performance and personality. You are still young and I feel you will want to get even better than your already master guitar playing. You can make any well made guitar sing.
Love my 502T. I get compliments on it all the time. Wish I could play it like you...

Beautiful guitar. Great playing, super tasteful.
My first electric guitar was a Yamaha. Makes me want to get another one. Looks great and I like the features.
This is such a beautifull sound i have no words for it deeply impressed
Wonderful news Chris congratulations you deserve it! Hope 2020 brings just as much success if not more than what last year did.

Beautiful tone. Yamaha make some great guitars, but I never realised how good electric guitars they make. I love the L series acoustics.
Congrats on the custom Revstar Chris. Looking forward to seeing it in future videos..
When you started playing 'Desperado' I almost cried. You're such an inspiration Chris! Please, please, please more Eagles in the future!
It's a dangerous song that.
Emotionally speaking ...

That is an absolutely beautiful guitar, and a cool take on the electronics! Excellent playing too!
the tone on the desperado bit sounded lovely mate. nice guitar, great vid

especially THAT bridge - very cool!!
Never, never, never, never I imagine who could make a version from DESPERADO more beautiful than this. Congratulations for you from Argentina.
Oh that desperado beginning was just superb, so beautifully soulful, thank you Chris. 👍❤️
Looks beautiful and sounds amazing Chris, so well deserved. Loved the jam at Norman's, also loved your response to the person who criticized you for playing it instead of opting for something rare off the shelf.

I love the tone from both the 502 and the 820! Amazing guitars far underpriced!
Chris, you deserve it.
Whenever Jeff Beck and Robben Ford both retire from playing, you’ll be the go-to!

At the right price Id buy it in a heartbeat. Just love the simplicity, vintage/modern look...
Really wish yamaha made a production run of this guitar
I buy it in a second !
Beautiful sounding! Love the Eagles tune ! ... Congrats on a fantastic guitar Chris 🙌 .. Cheers 🍻

Desperado done as it should have been😊 Lovely tones, emerging in evocative succession..
Not too shabby! 👍
Well done, Chris. I’m a p-90 convert.
I love it when I see a notification from your channel !!!! Makes my day!!!
what a great guitar. Always been a big fan of the sg3000 and I love where your taking this.
Beautiful version of "Desperado"!
My gosh you’re absolutely killing it man
Wonderful instrument matched with an exceptional player. Sonic nirvana.
Congrats with the new guitar. Maybee surreal, but your playing is unique, a gift acuired by a lot of practice, and then some kind of magic. 👏👏👏
Hey Chris, Just want to Thank You for your videos and Awesome inspiring playing and tone. All the Best with the new guitar. Stay Well my Friend. Jack...
Ah man I really want that! I hope they start to make them
The Yamaha logo is 3 tuning forks, not really a throwing star. Really dig that setup! I would buy one.
the sound is fantastic and the enthusiasm infectious.
Love the humility...
You never cease to inspire me dude. I’m off to learn that amazing Desperado rendition.
Man Lemmo and Buck!!! Amazing boys. God bless!
YOOOOOOOO....double volume blend! HELL yeah!
Superb Revstar 🎸 Well Done to Yamaha Custom Shop Team
Seems like a great guitar... good job on keeping it tasteful
Love the arrangement on Desperado -- one of my favorite songs OAT.
Far out! That rendition of "desperado" beautiful work
You are an amazing Guitar Player!
