@@xendordawnburst9969 Isn't Velione is a stigmata from ancient times? She is either fallen warrior of previous era, or herrscher-level honkai beast, as only those were used as stigmata's under Dr. MEI command.
@@vasilyfamilienko4318 I don't recall seeing anything about her being an ancient Stigmata. I was under the impression that she was a new Stigmata born from Seele and the Honkai! Natural instead of artificial! Even then, she has the unique property of being sentient, unlike other Stigmatas which are echoes of memories!

Yeah, I just watched both trailers in a row, this was quite the tonal shift lol.
that is because Genshin Impact is still in its Happy Phase of the storyline. It will starting getting here once it enters the Depression Impact Phase of the storyline.

There’s something about Herrscher of Death, in that apparently she cannot really die. In fact, she is able to be reborn as part of her powers.
However, whether she retained memories of her previous self as a result of being able to rebirth herself without needing any sort of help, is a different story.

Veliona/Seele's CN Voice Actor did a performance too good to try to recreate.
CN dub fits the best, on both Honkai and Genshin. Even tho I always use JP dub, the Chinese feels more natural. Maybe it's because this is a Chinese game?

But honestly, I like the JP dubs more, Chinese is just too full of "h" and "sh" sounds it gets annoying to listen to for me.

I love these kinda characters regardless of game movie anime
Veliona, is described by the creators (according to the translations) as Yandere and at the end as Tsundere. I cannot agree with that, because Veliona's personality is described as "cruel, ruthless, manipulative and sadistic", which we also see in the video "I love seeing faces distorted with pain." Veliona protects Seele, but Veliona is not psychologically unstable and her motive to act in this way does not come from an unrequited love or a disappointed love, which would be the case with a Yandere. Veliona is most likely to be the Sadodere type.
Even cruelest maniacs in real life were able to love their family or their pets, sometimes even were doing cruelty for their loved ones. Veliona is like that.
Veliona is stigmata - do we know if she is warrior from a past like Kevin or Fu Hua, or is she an Emperor/Herrscher level honkai beast? As only those were turned into stigmatas.

She is not "insane" in that sense. She is in her right mind when she performs these sadistic acts. And, I don't want to say too much about the new story, we see this in the story of the Veliona personality. A Yandere is insane and a Tsundere is not a sadist, so the Veliona personality just doesn't fall into the category of Yandere and Tsundere. However, her description, already at too accurate, fits the Sadodere personality.

She was in the previous era. She used to be the Herrscher of Death but she was defeated by the MOTHS. Now she’s a stigmata born from Seele instead of the will of Honkai

I read an post where someone suspect that the YT acc got an shadow hammer strike (shadow ban) and i can somewhat confirm ot since i had no notification this morning when the 4.8 trailer aired and the viewer count of the vids plummeted.
