Everyone is talking about the emotional impact here and I’ll admit, it hits pretty hard. However, can we just take a second to talk about the scale of power these girls have? Seele just punched through a dimensional space... without using all of her power! Through pure desperation, she punched a hole in space-time. No weapon, no super-form. Just her fists.
And then, immediately after that, she gains access to her full strength which is then used to devastate an enemy that Bronya, who’s no slouch herself, had previously decided to run away from rather than fight. She does this in a single swing, and what does the damage isn’t even the swing, but the shockwave it causes. A shockwave which, according to physics, is naturally weaker than the attack that generated it.
Must admit that miHoYo put a lot of "The Power of Friendship" thingy in the story,not really make it a bad story for me tho,since they do it very nicely at least for me

If you've just possibly lost the person you love the most in the whole world, I don't think it's just going to end with just some sniffling and slight crying. I think that Seele would've screamed and wail loudly uncontrollably.
There's definitely a difference in emotion between the VAs. CN Dark Seele sounds like she's just as hurt from losing Bronya. Her voice carrying this harder tone, perhaps hatred towards her own powerlessness. Her trying to stop Seele from pounding at the ground is like her trying to convince herself there's no point in fighting. JP Dark Seele on the otherhand, while may sound cold, it's more like she realizes how powerless she and Seele are and regardless of how they may scratch and scream, it cannot change anything. Her stopping Seele is more like a mother picking up a crying child to keep them from hurting themselves. In short, CN Dark Seele hates her own powerlessness, JP Dark Seele accepts but mourns her own powerlessness.
We want anime Mihoyo: yes ... Tho i think mihoyo already burning its budget every animated mv like this, theyd need a lot of time for anime with the same quality as this.. And i also dont mind if its cn dub first
My only wish is to see the mission where Theresa goes Super Saiyan animated. Maybe they'll make a storyline anime when they're done with the game's story.
As long as the anime doesn’t diminish the quality. It should be on par with these short animations in order to achieve satisfying levels because that’s where it will be compared to.

The unknown goddess at the beginning and the Ruins all over the place in Genshin from the old advanced civilization (like honestly, just look at the entrance to the Dvalin Dungeon). it feels like the Honkai where in Genshin once already wrecked havoc and now the world is back in the medival times 🤔

I REALLY love Seele's voice lines. This sweet quiet girl realized that if she didn't get strong now, she would lose the most important person in the world again. And she saved Bronya! She's no longer a pathetic weak girl. And her scream before she broke that door..... I cry every time I hear it. She's very strong.

I honestly find it sweet that HI3 Seele was always protected by Bronya when they were younger, then Seele grew strong enough to protect Bronya in Honkai Star Rail. They belong in every universe. And I am still waiting for a sea location to come in HSR so I can take them both there.
I might suggest to watch the original, aka: Sailor Moon. Chibiusa and Hotaru Tomoe ( aka: Sailor Saturn). You will notice the rip off straight away both in plot and aesthetics. First time i watched this cutscene in HI3 i knew first glance that i saw it somewhere else.

It is a theme you can relate to on some deeper level that has meaning to you. I don't want to watch SM but that theme clearly means something to you if not for me. Lament the Fallen had themes i could relate to Sasuke parting with Naruto on the rooftop and I don't call that a rip off. Inspiration and plagiarism are pretty far apart, just something to keep in mind. I can not even count how many games and anime use JoJo references, would you say that is a rip off by everyone too?

Ive been playing the game for 17 days so far and managed to acquire Stygian Nymph Seele through the "Peachy Spring" outfit gacha. Today was the day where I watched this cutscene. after hours and hours of re-watching, I still can't help but making Seele the best character in the game. Whether it's Swallowtail Phantasm, Stygian Nymph or even Starchasm Nyx; I will make sure that they will be the best

Seele created the world of genshin impact when she did this, obviously just speculation but the flower looks a lot like the flower field we see the twins in in promo art and there is a creator god who is different from the sustainer who has only been mentioned in the twins character profile
Nah Genshin doesn't tie to HI3 itself, it's probably got more ties with the upcoming Honkai Star Rail as Teyvat is an ark for humanity and Celestia is an invading force. The Traveller's might be related to a being called the Primordial One who presumably created Teyvat between the Elemental Realm and Abyssal Realm, though it seems more likely they created all three.
I've only been playing Honkai for a little over a month but I'm loving it! Currently saving my crystals in the hopes that Stygian Nymph will become available to pull again.
VA for Seele/Dark Seele: Nakahara Mai Other distinguishing roles: Furukawa Nagisa from Clannad; Akagi from Azur Lane; Yukinoshita Haruno from Oregairu, etc. Bless her talent.
The legendary Nakahara Mai returns to her Yandere roots once again, funny how Mihoyo has given so many Japanese Seiyuus their dream roles or given them roles they once loved playing especially Rei Kugumiya when she voiced God Kiana, she was ecstatic that she had got the opportunity to play a God and universal villian which she hadn't played in a long time
Everyone's sad about the missing "do you want to die" line but the JP version of "let's go save onee-chan (onee-sama) together!" line's duality gave me goosebumps.

we weren't wrong tho, mhy would eventually make them dark it's just a matter of time. But tbh genshin do feel a little peacefull at the beginning, unlike honkai who were immediately hit by wendy story arc
genshin presents it "dark" story mostly through its world and npcs, and what's more it gets stuck behind voiceless sidequests, which in turn doesn't give that much emotional impact. Guess that's one of the downsides of being an open world game. They can't make huge differences/adjustments as much because they have to take into account their open world exploring and that's why the story takes place after the war. Unlike Honkai which is for the most part a stage based game so they have the freedom to give us whatever they want, or how awesome or dark they want it to be, there are no limits.

I love both dubs. Each actor brings something different to the same character’s voice. I don’t have a preference for either voices. I love both and that’s how I feel bout it. Seele created the world of genshin impact when she did this, obviously just speculation but the flower looks a lot like the flower field we see the twins in in promo art and there is a creator god who is different from the sustainer who has only been mentioned in the twins character profile
Nah Genshin doesn't tie to HI3 itself, it's probably got more ties with the upcoming Honkai Star Rail as Teyvat is an ark for humanity and Celestia is an invading force. The Traveller's might be related to a being called the Primordial One who presumably created Teyvat between the Elemental Realm and Abyssal Realm, though it seems more likely they created all three.

The legendary Nakahara Mai returns to her Yandere roots once again, funny how Mihoyo has given so many Japanese Seiyuus their dream roles or given them roles they once loved playing especially Rei Kugumiya when she voiced God Kiana, she was ecstatic that she had got the opportunity to play a God and universal villian which she hadn't played in a long time

we weren't wrong tho, mhy would eventually make them dark it's just a matter of time. But tbh genshin do feel a little peacefull at the beginning, unlike honkai who were immediately hit by wendy story arc
genshin presents it "dark" story mostly through its world and npcs, and what's more it gets stuck behind voiceless sidequests, which in turn doesn't give that much emotional impact. Guess that's one of the downsides of being an open world game. They can't make huge differences/adjustments as much because they have to take into account their open world exploring and that's why the story takes place after the war. Unlike Honkai which is for the most part a stage based game so they have the freedom to give us whatever they want, or how awesome or dark they want it to be, there are no limits.
