Proud to know there is a Malaysian lady like this we can all look up to.
She is 52 but still no spouse and she gonna die with only cats. Thats what happened to career woman.
@@cnachopchopnewsagency She never said any of that? how she doesn't say she is single. you can be married and have a career

I love her attitude, not embarrassed about her age, very confident about herself
her saying " Had a good life " put a smile on my deadass face.
the host is so calm confident and intelligent
Such good financial advice. Like how Naval said, “People who live far below their means enjoy a freedom that people busy upgrading their lifestyles can’t fathom.”
She’s got a good head on her shoulders. “ make sure your lifestyle is one step below your income” good advice right there
“Make sure your lifestyle is always one step below your income” now THAT is some solid advice.
Beautiful soul. I keep coming back to this video because I love her energy & the calm vibes she gives off. so refreshing to see a modest down to earth woman like this
As a fellow Malaysian, I have been living in the UK, Australia, New Zealand for quite a number of years while studing and working. Her advice on living below before income is what kept me going all these years. She is a gem. I love her. Hoping she has a wobderful life going forward.
She’s wonderful. I think she’d be a great 3 hour interview.
Why is this titled "banker's advice"? She is a finance writer and was a journalist. She writes. She doesn't bank
she is a banker.
She is a banker. She works in the financial markets. She was a journalist before. I work in a commercial bank now and was also surprised just how many of my co-workers were previously journalists.
@@kaachsports It confirms that information is everything in the stock markets.
She bank tho
@@bagzhansadvakassov1093 She do?
such a soft spoken and charismatic lady..
It's refreshing to see a woman get asked her age and respond like an adult, not feeling insecure about her reality and expecting others to live in that insecurity too.
"Force savings and lifestyle one step down from income". -great habits financial tips from Malaysian too!
But rosmah and najib throw millions of ringgit in shoe boxes , handbags ,kitchen cupboards and toilets.
Can anyone say that is the malaysian correct way ?
"Make sure your lifestyle is one step below your income. "

@@lubdid women biologically are happiest with children and a husband. There is a reason why women at a certain age take the most amount of antidepressants out of anybody else.
Reminds me of Michelle Yeoh, another elegant and articulate, classy older Malaysian woman.
Part of the calmness comes from having gratitude for where you are and what you have done. Many people get worked up about not being the star they imagined they'd be as a child.
She looks so much younger and gives advice like a sage
She really does
That financial advice has ALWAYS worked for me. Always make sure you live BELOW your means
What a lady. I aspire to become someone like this when I get to 52. Cheers!
The only way to become like her is to leave the boring & developing country Malaysia & go for better countries like Singapore, Uk & US if u want to thrive & shine like her!! The avg salary in Singapore is highest in asia, 5-6 times HIGHER than Malaysia & is the only asia country made it in world top 10 highest.❤❤
I really love the accent. There's a warmness and regality to it despite how proper it is.

@@ginalatham2I never had an opinion on Financial literacy till I came across Yuen M Bigan FX who guided me through every process involved in earning while learning. I beleive that people who got rich first had a mindset for it and they took risks...the issue for most people is fear....it becomes a fence and will keep you locked in if you let it... its best to plan and take action and invest....it may take time to get there but start from somewhere. Do not give up on yourselves.
Problem is usually ppl live above their means because "everybody has this and that, so I must have it too!".
It's a balance. Get what you need, and occasionally treat/pamper yourself.
But always remember to save for the future as one never knows what is in store for the future.

She is so comfortable yet professional! What a woman.
I love how Sprouht's quality of interviews have improved so much. It is long enough to actually get something out of the video without being boring.
I want to be 52 and as well spoken as her. She is amazing.

Live below your means. Gen X are latchkey kids and they are versatile, mature, steadfast and reliable. She is a picture of a self respecting dignified woman. And I am proud of her.

Her accent is so distinct. You can hear both Asia and Australia in there
this has to be one my favourite accents. it's sounds so sophisticated and intelligent.
Women like this are everywhere in Hong Kong. Middle aged, well travelled, professional, highly educated single and childless
Sounds like I need to go to Hong Kong. That’s just my type!
Hong Kong seems depressing lol. They're all childless and single. That's half of life for most people.
@@abdullahaanawaleh You are correct. Birthrates are very low and there is an ageing population. Also, Hong Kong women have unreasonably high expectations from men due to their spoiled upbringing (Hong Kong princess syndrome, you can google it.). So they struggle to find anyone they want to date and marry. But it is changing as Hong Kong is being repopulated with young families from Mainland China.
being childless is not a flex dude lmao
Interesting that you make the assumption she’s single and childless when we don’t get any info on either of these things. She has a wedding ring on so I would assume she’s married

Very good advice. Always make sure your lifestyle is one step below your income.
living below your means is vital 👌.. I’ve visited Malaysia and Singapore and had a good time ✈️
Y'know, I thought this was going to be something stupid like "follow your dreams" or "find your passion" but this is actually very solid life advice. Lots of people even on high salaries live paycheck to paycheck and so have no freedom. By keeping "your expenses one step below your income" you're neither depriving yourself of life's pleasures, but you're also putting aside enough $$$ to give you a secure and free life without having to worry about going broke if you lose your job.
Her calmness and intellect. I know it comes with age. But wow. I can’t wait to be older and wiser.
