I have a Maxpedition Falacon (classic line) for about 8 years and an Entity backpack for two years. I worked in Africa and India for 11 years and these backpacks held up great. They do not wear out!!
I have had tons of Maxpedition gear for 10+ years and love it all. It is so well made. I don't expect it to ever wear out. I'm looking at this video because my $200 briefcase/backpack just had a catastrophic zipper failure on a trip and is toast. Thanks for the review.
Jumbo versa oak , 20years now. Daily use. Several organizers, and falcon 2 along with the original prepared citizen. I didn’t jump on the Vaquest train, I will be sticking with maxpedition. Great video, thanks for sharing.
My oldest bag from maxpedition is my monsoon and the buckle finally broke a few weeks ago. I bought an aftermarket field replacement buckle and it’s back to normal. I also have a lithvore and entity 23 for my edc. Great vid brother!
Like everyone, I have a little of everything from many great manufactures. I have a Maxpedition Vulture II 72 hour bag set aside for the coming apocalypse when I need to bug out. I have it packed but I've never field tested it but I will tell you, I chose it over a "511 Rush 72" because of build quality. I agonized over having to choose between the two but in the end, it had the best reinforced bottom I've ever seen. Truthfully, I could actually see daylight through the bottom of the 511 Rush pack in the store which made me feel uneasy. Suppose you were bugging out and snagged a sharp branch, rock or whatever, I'd hate to see all my stuff come pouring out the bottom. With the Maxpedition, I had confidence in spades! There were some annoyances but nothing I couldn't live with. These days I tend to like smaller packs as I tend to overfill my bags, but I've learned to lighten my loads and only take the essentials. BTW, I'm getting this pack on payday and plan to use it for my EDC.
I just received mine and it's absolutely wonderful. I have previously had falcon 2 & vulture 2 and I was never really satisfied with those. Falcon 2 is just too weird looking and vulture 2 was a nightmare to wear. Vulture 2 ended up in a street garbage cointainer in Portugal while I was on a job. Foreign service that included a lot of travelling. Have since then been hesitant with buying maxpedition but now I have bought prepared citizen deluxe and it was definitely the right choice. Inconspicuous and with of space and organisation. I have used an Eastpak or 5.11 Covrt 18 for work in the last 6 years and prepared citizen deluxe can easily replace them in my line of work where I've to blend in. Great review btw.
Hi Tim! Great videos! I own a ton of Maxpedition gear. I had the prepared citizen 1.0 and it was great, but lacked water bottle holders, so I sold it and got the entity 21 which I love. Yes it’s more expensive but I just like the feel of the fabric better and it looks a little bit more “fashionable” as a sports mom. But the 1.0 version of this bag was fabulous almost bulletproof especially setting it on Muddy ground, Sandy baseball fields. crazy easy to organize, holds a ton of stuff and looks really low-key. I never used the CCW compartment but I could hide my flat wallet in there if I needed to step away and nobody would find it. Of course they would have this one with water bottle holders on it but it is loud and boxy and stiff.
Currently have a gridflux sling pack from them. It survived 6 years in the army (daily use) and 4 years in college. Still looks new. Never had a zipper break or a loose thread. Looking into getting another bag
Can't go wrong with Maxpedition products. I own 2 of the Falcon II packs one of which I carried as an EDC/lunch/GHB for work 5 - 6 days a week for 6 years with no problems. I recently purchased a second one in the Wolf Grey color to replace the older one. The older one I have mounted on an Alice frame now for a completely different kit set up. I also own several of Maxpedition's pouches to incorporate to the packs and harness rigs giving them even more capacity and versatility. Thanks for the video and for sharing.
I have maxpedition fear since I have seen your channel. I bought first the pouches then I got the maxpedition Malaga, but I know it’s too big for everyday carry. I like something smaller and less tactical. Great video by the way,
I have the original prepared citizen. I wish it was made with 500d instead of 1000. It would be a bit more flexible. On the one you are reviewing I wish it would just have mesh water bottle pockets. I like the more subtle look and I also like to put other things in those pockets.
Same. I have the original and don’t love how loud it is and rigid. Straps also aren’t very comfortable but it works good for my purposes of a laptop bag for work
EDC Gear & Gun Reviews The shoulder straps are a bit slick. I love the whole concept of the prepared citizen line. It looks like a Jansport bag but tougher and more organization features. I have dozens of bags and still haven’t found the perfect bag yet.
Great video I have the prepared citizen classic 2.0 and was thinking of getting this one as a possible gray man BOB to replace a pack Im using now. What would you say the recommend load would be? I can't find anything anywhere. My 9nly complaints I see for a pack of this size is the lack of a sterun strap, belt, and some kind of compression system. I know the intention was to keep a simple look but even with those features it wouldn't scream tatical. Load lifters would even be nice.
I was tempted to pick this up as I travel a lot for work. However, the inability to lock or secure all the zippers made it a no-go for me. I'll be sticking with what I have even though this one does have some nice features I'd like to have. Really wish Maxpedition would make security a priority. Lockable and cut resistant would be great. Oh well, maybe someday.
So tired of this, "Grey Man" concept... Can we stop advocating for it, to force manufacturers to continuously improve? Grey Man is just another term for boring.

"Zipper Garage".... Awesome
I know. So cool

Maxpadiction always makes quality products and I get a lot of wear, and the price is very fair considering the workmanship.
Thanks for the review, Tim.
Looks like I know which pack is replacing my Wenger work-bag.

Great to hear you are enjoying it. Great bag.

Falcon II Going on 8 years daily carry. Can’t wait till it breaks so I can get another maxpedition. Good review.

Where was this backpack in the 80's, but a good review.
Good vid. Thanks
No problem 👍

I have only used the different pouches, but have used them for years. Maxpedition makes some quality gear.
Good Job Bru!
Basically made like Jansport used to be made 20 years ago!
Totally agree! I absolutely luv mine. :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)
That is a bag that I need for my survival kit
Back pack I mean
I have the Fatboy and absolutely luv it! :-) :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)
Cool Bag
Awesome review. Where can I find that patch?
I’m looking to put some clothes into this pack when traveling on a plane, do you think the deluxe is a good choice??
Absolutely

The 1000D feels indestructible but it is rigid I agree

Agreed on both.
I have the prepared citizen 2.0 bag but not sure how to outfit it like a grey man ...any suggestions and or videos I should check out ?
Are the shoulder straps comfortable or would be comfortable for longer wearing?
How much does it weigh?
Bummer that zippers dont zip further down. Creates a lot of digging

I can't tell from the video - is this the black or the gray one?
This is the gray one actually.
이 형 maxpedition 가방 다 있나보네요. 검색할때마다 나오심 ㅋㅋㅋ
What kind of fleece jacket is that??
Where can you get the patch your have on the backpack?
Prefer my Falcon-II. Just hope they don't stop making their Legacy line for all this "gray man" stuff.
Nice video. I love how you keep a Bible in like all of your bags. What kind of pastor are you? Baptist?
Midnights & Mornings good tender
Dale Phillips Good tender? You don’t have the Bible for tender. You keep it for instruction.

"Im in on the giveaway"

Rubbish
