Thanks Tim! I love the style, but overall I think they could have done better. To me, a low profile grey man pack doesn’t have a huge place for moral patches. The water bottle pockets seem super tight! The back padding seems what you’d get with a cheaper pack, & they could have put a little bit more organization. It’s too bad because I really like the style. I’ll wait for the 2.0 version. I almost forgot, if that’s OD green, it doesn’t look OD green. It looks more like a sickly green colour.

I agree. I do like Maxpedition gear but the prices are often eye watering. Here in the UK they retail for the equivalent of around $213.00. If you want a discreet pack for urban use there are many less expensive alternatives.

Great bag except for the front straps are straight and doesn’t have a curve so when you put it on it doesn’t sit flat which seems to be a defect in my opinion and very annoying.

Maxpedition hands down makes AMAZING products. Vanquest as well, but For this type of money, I’d rather go with the Entity line. I have the 21L pack and LOVE it. Great awesome video Tim, Hopefully you’ll film that side project?
It screams cheap to me compared to the other packs and bags they sell. If I wanted a cheap looking backpack to blend into the population, then I have hundreds of other companies making these kind of packs with pretty much the same low quality as this bag. What makes Maxpedition bags stand out is their high quality and military look that for veterans like me remind us of our past days and good quality gear when in the military. No, I'll pass on this one and just buy one of their other bags when I need a backpack or buy other much highter quality looking bags from others. If I want a cheap backpack that screams I'm cheap and don't have anything of value for a lot less money.

A lot of nice features but it still kinda stands out, particularly with that big area on the front for patches.

I have a few Maxpeditions, good stuff, but like others, I'm not paying $175.00+ for this.

That strip of hook and loop in the back compartment is so you can make one side access zipper into just a hook and loop closure. Faster draw that way
Maxpedition makes great stuff and this a really nice pack just a little rich for my blood
