Installing Beadboard Inside the Animal Cottage | Dog & Cat House | Part 5

Hey there,
In this "Animal Cottage Part 5" video, I finished insulating the back wall and installed the steel wainscoting. I had to first take down the cat loft in order to get to that wall. I capped the top of the wainscoting with reclaimed 2x4’s but later removed them, trimmed them down to about 1” thick, and then reinstalled them. Next, I installed tongue and grove beadboard for the siding. These boards were given to me a while back and I’m been saving them for this project. Insulating and finishing the walls has made a noticeable difference inside for both looks and comfort.

There are many ways to build and many different methods and tools to use. This video just documents the way I went about this project. I hope this video inspires you to build something and maybe use reclaimed materials as well.
