In this video, I insulated and began working on finishing the ceiling. I cut down some reclaimed styrofoam insulation on the table saw and fit it in between the rafters. Then I cut some furring strips down to size and installed them onto the rafters. The furring strips were used to attach the ceiling boards to. Next, I used reclaimed fence pickets as ceiling boards to cover the insulation. I wanted the rafters to remain exposed so the ceiling boards are installed onto the furring strips. This took a lot longer than just nailing the boards to the rafters, but I figured it would help keep the space a little more open and plus, I like the look of the exposed rafters. I still have more work to do on the Animal Cottage so don't forget to subscribe to my channel and hit the notification bell so you can be alerted when I upload new videos in this series.
Don't forget to check out the other videos on the Animal Cottage build here:

There are many ways to build and many different methods and tools to use. This video just documents the way I went about this project. I hope this video inspires you to build something and maybe use reclaimed materials as well.
    Take care and stay safe,

Sometimes, when I just want to watch a guy cut up some foam with a table saw. I say to myself...I say "Self, I wonder what ol' Jebediah Longbottom is up to right now?" And the rest is history...but you already know that.
Also, thanks for another great video and for showing off the floofs too. Lol

Your name was brought to me by singing angels while I was sleeping...but that's a story for another time. Just figured I'd drop a comment. You know, for the algorithm.

Haha. Well, that algorithm controls my destiny on the UA-cam so your comments are always welcomed and very much appreciated. Especially with the added humor. Thanks again my friend.
