I've had to stop the video after reading all the dumb comments, she's doing her thing very very well, and the sound engineer followed her after a rough start like a champ.
what's your frickin' problem?
those posting the dumb comments don't understand that this was a live radio broadcast in a studio with an audience, and a minimal sound check beforehand. of course the beginning was a bit rough because the performers and the radio engineers had to figure it out as they went. the set should have probably began with a different track, not their most popular song.
It was great being there behind the glass. Next time I want to be in front of the stage. Well played

Fuck the haters. I was at this taping at it definitely sounded different there. It sounds like the mix was done poorly. CCFX is great, I strongly recommend checking out their actual recordings on bandcamp. If you like creative and new music check it out. If you think they're bad then you seriously have bad taste.

Its the second time i read this and it's like nobody but me really listened to the cure or what (my favorite band for the past 26 years if you were to ask me). I love this song and oh sure there are some stylistic similarities but point me to the cure song that sounds like this. People are so lazy with musical comparisons it's annoying.
Sound technician didn't quite know what to do with the vocals on this one..
She is the nightmare of any sound engineer.

dang i love this band so much but the guitarist really needs to tune and the bassist needs to turn up and her vocals are pretty out of control. Super disappointed that they didn't have a drummer and keys player too :/
the drum machine suits them far more than a live drummer would, but i agree this is a weak performance.
Reverb and compression on the vocals and it would've sounded great. The guitar was fine!

Kellyanne Conway Ok. That wasn’t my comment. And yes, I was kind of kidding. I don’t doubt that she’s been doing this a sufficiently long time. To my ears and eyes it appears that the control of her vocal dynamics as a function of her use of the microphone is not so good. cupping around the mic, getting too close to it so it’s overmodulating... I get that these are stylistic elements and choices, but it also represents pretty poor technique and it’s just grating on my ears.
