seeing seanie struggle with this game when i had a hyperfocus on it as a kid is kinda funny "you have to play thru the WHOLE GAME. TEN TIMES!" "oh i did that! didn't know it gave you achievements, i could've gotten them all, huh."
So... fun fact: You don't need to do a complete, cell-to-space run for each archetype achievement. You can start in later stages and still get an archetype in the Space stage. You can even start in the Space stage and just grind your levels from there (but you won't have the abilities you'd get from playing through the earlier stages). You can also change your archetype while you're playing the Space stage by doing quests for an allied empire with a different archetype, which means you could just save right before hitting Master Badge Rank 10, hit Rank 10, load, do a Switch Archetype quest, hit Rank 10, load, and repeat the process for every archetype you can switch into. The only archetypes you can't change into are Knight (which don't spawn randomly, and if you encounter a Knight archetype Empire you made, they'll give you the quest to become a Warrior) and Wanderer (which you can only get by starting in the Space stage). Edit: And that's exactly what you did. Teaches me to post a comment before watching the entire video.
Additional fun fact: It is possible to bribe the Grox into friendship to get to the core faster. The only caveat is it causes EVERY OTHER EMPIRE IN THE GALAXY, EVEN IF THEY HAVEN'T MET YOU, TO AUTOMATICALLY DECLARE WAR ON YOU!!! You can also wipe out Grox worlds by simply... Converting them to a healthy terra score. Yep. That easy. They'll fight back, of course, but you can just zip around and evade them the whole time.

Bro, I hated the city stage so much as a kid that I developed a consistent strategy to win it as easily as possible. Step 1. End the creature stage at a nest that is close to the shoreline. (Also, it helps the tribal stage if you give your creature some last minute offense, like parts that give you the ability to spit poison, swipe, charge, sneak, etc.) Step 2. When your city begins, DROP EVERYTHING AND MAKE YOUR SEA AND LAND VEHICLES ASAP. When you make them, PRIORITIZE SPEED ABOVE ALL ELSE. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS Step 3. MAKE A BUNCH OF VEHICLES AND CAPTURE EVERY SINGLE SPICE GEIZER YOU CAN REACH. IF YOURE FAST ENOUGH, YOU CAN CAPTURE EVERY GEIZER ON YOUR CONTINENT AND IN THE OCEAN BEFORE ANYONE ELSE CAN GET THEIR SWEATY MITTS ON THEM Step 4. If you didn’t evolve into an economics city, keep a weather eye out for the types of cities forming. Step 5. As soon as an economic city appears, AQUIRE IT! Before they have a chance to do anything! Step 6. When you capture the city, choose to keep it as an economic city. Step 7. Form trade routes with literally everyone (this is another part where the speedy cars and boats come in handy), prioritizing those who own spice geizers on other continents. Step 8. Wait for everyone to submit to your empire of capitalism as they beg you to buy their city with your mountains of money Of course, this doesn’t exactly help with some of the achievements 😂
@@Afraglis créature stage was always easiest for me. As a kid, fighting scared me so I was always friendly but that breaks down in the Civ stage since religious is actually incredibly aggressive gameplay-wise. So I came up with this strategy lol
I think the idea of mastering 10 different Archetypes is because you're playing over a long time, so they're more like long-term goals to reach. They only get to be the worst if you're speedrunning or trying to do an achievement grind and are not being a casual player...
Spore (Japanese: キノコのほうし Mushroom Spore) is a non-damaging Grass-type move introduced in Generation I. Prior to Generation III, it was the signature move of Paras and Parasect. Description : The user scatters bursts of spores that induce sleep. - Base Power ; 100 accuracy. Do not affect grass types pokemon, Pokemon with the « Overcoat » ability, or Pokemon equipped with the « safety googles » item. Blocked by protection moves Bounced back to the original user by Magic Coat or the Magic Bounce Ability. Cannot bypass a substitute (except in Generation I )
I love Spore. I am, however, very aware that Spore was made to be played in a spam of Years, instead of a Days. Thank you for the video and I pity all that.
LMAO I was so caught of guard by the "raffiolio" quote, I always loved mimicking the space stage creatures' lines as a kid and some of them are eternally burned into my brain
You just unlocked a repressed memory in me. I sometimes remembered playing this game on my friend's computer but i could never remember the specifics of it or how it was called. Im actually so happy right now 😭
Gotta try to be a Zelot in the space stage. Most OP power in space stage. Also helps to ally the Grox. I'm actually surprised that allying the Grox wasn't 1 of the many crazy achievements in this game. Combat in any stage of Spore is something I never figured out. Hats off to you for knocking off an Epic in the creature stage; I think I spent of all of 30 mins trying and concluded it was impossible. Yes the space stage is super boring , tedious, and not really unique as you go through. I never could find Earth either or even figure out how I was meant to use wormholes unless I wrote my own map out with the complicated names given to wormholes.
As someone who's hyperfixation was spore, not recruiting alphas during creature stage was a mistake, tribal stage gift ambush strategy was mine too. Also when you reach civilization stage, quickly build as much cars and take over all the spice and destroy all villages before they advance. Space stage idc it gets boring after a while.
About the "run over tribes people" in Civilization stage: There is a way to identify a tribe that will damage vehicles (they're in middle of the region's line, there already exists a tribe closer to the middle of the region or is in a region with a spice geyzer.
Warrior tribal isn’t too tough if you’re smart about it. Keep in mind that for this stage, your creature stage stats still matter- mostly speed and flight for quicker movement across the map, but also their built in weapons can help. Take your time to build up resources before taking down brown village, to delay the others from popping up. You MUST be ready for when the others pop up to prevent the massacres of this video. Tame animals so they lay eggs for you- it’s an easy and constant supply of food. Even on herbivore playthroughs, this free food can be used for buildings and gifts. Any allied creatures from the previous stage will automatically become tamed animals for your tribe, which can give a much needed early game food boost. Plus, they’ll fight for your tribe! There’s a super easy glitch you can pull off to duplicate eggs to minimize costs, basically you change your graphics settings right as the egg is hatching and the animation will repeat and produce another egg. If you don’t want to use exploits that’s understandable, it’s just really cool! Gift and serenade hostile villages once to prevent them from attacking you- since you’re not fully allied, you can decide from there whether to befriend or backstab them. It might seem counterproductive to a hostile playthrough, but you will still get it if you want to, all while avoiding the headache of raids. Hell, the others will even bring you gifts, unaware of your true intentions! This may seem like what you did, but gifts will only last for a little bit- still useful, but serenading them once to make them friendly lasts until you attack them, letting you take your time with the rest of the villages.
If you gift a tribe member directly instead of their food pile the neutral status stays forever, a little oversight of the developers that can be exploited, though even without that the food pile gift's neutral turning into slightly angry over time still isn't that bad because all they do is steal your food now and then, still better than raids happening. Another fun fact is that it wasn't possible to gift members directly in the first 1.00 version of the game, it was added in patch 1.01
I have a strategy for beating other tribes: Step 1: wait for them to attack first Step 2: Slaughter the raiders with your superior numbers Step 3: go to the other tribe and slaughter the remaining tribal members Enjoy
This was literally the only game I played as a kid lol I only ever gunned it to the center in space stage, a lot of people don’t realize if you have diff species in your party when you go from creature to tribal you get to keep them and they lay eggs for you :3
The tribal stage is a million times easier if you use gifts to stave off attacks from the more aggressive tribes. Then you can focus on the weaker tribes while you build up forces to take out the more aggressive ones. I know this advice is probably too little too late, but as someone who also completed this game on the hardest difficulty, I thought you'd like to know :D
i feel like spore is one of those games that has an INSANELY good premise and is full of INSANELY good concepts that just isn't very fun to actually play
53:10 Raf e olio and Raf e olio, friend (i love this game and played it so much as a kid) (also using this line here is inaccurate since this line is specific to being a military player, but honestly i didnt even know you got different ones until i looked it up lmao)
Fun fact, you can befriend the grogs by planet busting and becoming an enemy of everyone else. This makes getting to the center faster and easier since you don’t have to be bombarded by them
1:02:46 skill issue, as a kid I just turned the camera to be top down and could see which star is in the circle. (At least I remember doing that, don't have a copy on my hands to see if it's possible)
Btw you can really easily defeat an epic by leading it to your nest. You automatically heal when at your nest. However as soon as you step off your nest, you will stop healing
Crash and lack of autosave at around ten minutes in? yerp Game loading your corpse from the lack of save? YEP. Full experience. This is the entire reason i stopped playing the game.. and your video here, may well make me pick it back up.
Adding an achievement for having something banned is crazy, who thought that was a good idea? And yes the circular range indicator in space stage is ridiculous. Especially when there are things that use spheres, it's not as if they couldn't do it. They made the conscious decision to make it a circle.
I actually loved the space stage! speed ran all other stages just to sit in space for hours every weekend growing up. Got all them level 10 achievements, but still haven't received every single achievement. Kudos!
Did you really make a video "100%"ing spore without allying with OR destroying the grox? Is that why you just barely mentioned them for one sentence at the very end of the video? You didn't think people would notice?
tbh, spore needs a succsessor i'd love to see how a reworked spore would look like now, after 16 of it being created, with technology majorly improving its one of the few games that shouldve gotten something extra to it, instead of humanity getting the 20 millonth fifa game

seeing seanie struggle with this game when i had a hyperfocus on it as a kid is kinda funny
"you have to play thru the WHOLE GAME. TEN TIMES!"
"oh i did that! didn't know it gave you achievements, i could've gotten them all, huh."
Spore is one of those games where you never think about the achievements until you're specifically trying to get the achievements
Honestly how every game should be
So... fun fact:
You don't need to do a complete, cell-to-space run for each archetype achievement.
LOL 😂
Additional fun fact: It is possible to bribe the Grox into friendship to get to the core faster. The only caveat is it causes EVERY OTHER EMPIRE IN THE GALAXY, EVEN IF THEY HAVEN'T MET YOU, TO AUTOMATICALLY DECLARE WAR ON YOU!!! You can also wipe out Grox worlds by simply... Converting them to a healthy terra score. Yep. That easy. They'll fight back, of course, but you can just zip around and evade them the whole time.
@@jeffisaperson4471yeah death by terraforming op in general, but especially with the grox, and honestly I find it easier to just run past the grox, I did dancing with the devil last lol
I always love watching the creature, structure and vehicle designs people come up with in spore but for the first time i felt only a small sense of dread combined with a subtle taste of repulsion. Great job, love your work!
The Donzo look like that divorced balding dad that isn't a bad person but was just in a loveless marriage. He tries his best for his kids, maybe doesn't understand all of their new fads and interests, but he supports them in any way he can.
He's also on good terms with his ex, Enzo, who recently transitioned. They say Donzo was the one who helped Enzo through the tough decision, and he appreciates him for it, but they're happy just staying friends after.
We love you, Donzo.

Bro, I hated the city stage so much as a kid that I developed a consistent strategy to win it as easily as possible.
Step 1. End the creature stage at a nest that is close to the shoreline. (Also, it helps the tribal stage if you give your creature some last minute offense, like parts that give you the ability to spit poison, swipe, charge, sneak, etc.)
Step 2. When your city begins, DROP EVERYTHING AND MAKE YOUR SEA AND LAND VEHICLES ASAP. When you make them, PRIORITIZE SPEED ABOVE ALL ELSE. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS
Step 3. MAKE A BUNCH OF VEHICLES AND CAPTURE EVERY SINGLE SPICE GEIZER YOU CAN REACH. IF YOURE FAST ENOUGH, YOU CAN CAPTURE EVERY GEIZER ON YOUR CONTINENT AND IN THE OCEAN BEFORE ANYONE ELSE CAN GET THEIR SWEATY MITTS ON THEM
Step 4.
Step 8. Wait for everyone to submit to your empire of capitalism as they beg you to buy their city with your mountains of money
Of course, this doesn’t exactly help with some of the achievements 😂
This is quite obvious, but literally who tf plays economic? I also thought the civilization stage was the easiest...
@@Afraglis créature stage was always easiest for me. As a kid, fighting scared me so I was always friendly but that breaks down in the Civ stage since religious is actually incredibly aggressive gameplay-wise. So I came up with this strategy lol
Last time I played spore I made a race of carnivorous bipedal cows. The joys of evolution 😊
Minotaurs?
@@RollerBaller Kind of like a minotaur but with hooves for hands and fangs. And a black and white cow pattern of course!
The... The Moozilla...? Was it... was it you...?! Are you a Maxis employee?!?!
Did you make the Moozilla? We need the lore!!!
I was unaware of the moozilla you guys.. somehow I just also came up with the idea of carnivorous cows. Great minds think alike
Came for the scrunkly spores, stayed for the inevitable emotional breakdown
I like to believe that that car damage was on purpose to provide a better setup for this sponsorship
I think the idea of mastering 10 different Archetypes is because you're playing over a long time, so they're more like long-term goals to reach.
They only get to be the worst if you're speedrunning or trying to do an achievement grind and are not being a casual player...
Fun fact: Orginally there was an achievement to destroy 100 buildings in the tribal stage. Sewnie got lucky.
Blocked by protection moves
Bounced back to the original user by Magic Coat or the Magic Bounce Ability.
Cannot bypass a substitute (except in Generation I )
Spore is also 100% accurate, so everyone can 100% it as long as they don't have their accuracy lowered

I love Spore. I am, however, very aware that Spore was made to be played in a spam of Years, instead of a Days.
Thank you for the video and I pity all that.

That one was so outta pocket right?!
I'm not sure whether to be weirded out or to agree with them tbh

I HUST SAW THAT????
It is a badge, but not an achievement I think
Same with destroying the Grox
Next you have to 100% real life 💀
And Afterlife.
Nah, that game’s boring tbh
I probably won't honestly. I don't think enough of my audience knows what that is
@SeanieDew hey… true… but mean…
@@SeanieDew true
As someone who's hyperfixation was spore, not recruiting alphas during creature stage was a mistake, tribal stage gift ambush strategy was mine too. Also when you reach civilization stage, quickly build as much cars and take over all the spice and destroy all villages before they advance. Space stage idc it gets boring after a while.
About the "run over tribes people" in Civilization stage: There is a way to identify a tribe that will damage vehicles (they're in middle of the region's line, there already exists a tribe closer to the middle of the region or is in a region with a spice geyzer.
Props to Seanie for crashing his car just to do a transition for an ad

Dude i just finished re-watching the stardew 100%, hit the yt button and this popped up. He4e we go again...
He4e?
He is for the letter E. Who is he? He is a much more powerful being.
@@Nonhuman Oh, very interesting! I didn’t know that.
I have a strategy for beating other tribes:
Step 1: wait for them to attack first
Step 2: Slaughter the raiders with your superior numbers
Step 3: go to the other tribe and slaughter the remaining tribal members
Enjoy
This was literally the only game I played as a kid lol I only ever gunned it to the center in space stage, a lot of people don’t realize if you have diff species in your party when you go from creature to tribal you get to keep them and they lay eggs for you :3

I did not know Spore had a space stage… you doing this is kind of insane for real Seanie.. 1:01:48 You a M for sure
56:00 BRO LOST IT
The tribal stage is a million times easier if you use gifts to stave off attacks from the more aggressive tribes. Then you can focus on the weaker tribes while you build up forces to take out the more aggressive ones. I know this advice is probably too little too late, but as someone who also completed this game on the hardest difficulty, I thought you'd like to know :D

There are still two🙃
- To make the Grox extinct
- To become their Friend
I know right? My fav achievements honestly, but then again I always liked the space stage
yeah, i thought the extinction was the nassive grind he referred to

A Spore Remastered/Remake would be so fun. The other stages would be more in depth and longer, and the space stage would get a total makeover.

Yes it is, it's a portmanteau of irrespective and regardless
It's like he's afraid of silence, there isn't a single break in the talking.
Adding an achievement for having something banned is crazy, who thought that was a good idea?
And yes the circular range indicator in space stage is ridiculous. Especially when there are things that use spheres, it's not as if they couldn't do it. They made the conscious decision to make it a circle.
i always kive the chaos of spore
like i see seanie raiding tribes and i leave for like, 4 minutes and then he's engaging in technological warfare
YOOOO SPORE GAMEPLAY. You should switch from stardew valley to spore exclusively.
Those aren't achievements, those are space stage badges. Different thing.
he didn't do any of the sporepedia achievements either
10:32 I remember when games didn’t autosave ahaha! Looks like Seanie here needs to learn the ways of his ancestors, and save every 15 mins.
9:56 yeah, that just happens sometimes when you die in creature stage. No idea why.

its one of the few games that shouldve gotten something extra to it, instead of humanity getting the 20 millonth fifa game
For the next game you 100% I’d recommend A Short Hike, like the name suggests it’s a short game, probably only like 5-10 hours.
Selling everything from the cities you've conquered to get a shitload of money is basically galactic scavenging. Disassemble and sell everything. Damn, it would be quite interesting to make a sci-fi setting with this idea...
