That ending tho. I'm invested in the same way in Minecraft... It was a game I started playing to connect with my then-troubled 10yo son. Later in the game, once I've gotten to the point where the festivals don't matter so much for me, it's the one only one I still go out of my way to head on over to the beach for. As a matter of fact, as soon as I have access to a Jukebox (and that festival) I plop that baby down right in the middle of my farm house, and set it to only ever play that song ever. Occasionally I'll set up a few additional jukeboxes in sheds, and greenhouses, and other places I tend to hang out in the game. It's kind of funny to have a mostly-mechanized shed, but be willing to use up some space have a big-screen TV in there and a couch, so it looks like I have an entertainment system out there. And then be pumping "Fun Festival" out a jukebox somewhere in the building. (one of my other favorite songs). this is one of my favorite videos purely because of the script 😭😭 first to pick trapper, island boys, your mom, and all the other bits were so beautifully insane
the anger at the glacierfish is so valid i caught it pretty recently and i almost ripped my hair out while trying it was so frustrating i had less trouble catching the legend
I don't understand why he spent so long trying to catch it with the trap bobber? Like, that one single item makes the difference between it being either practically impossible or just difficult, which is huge. He finally did use it and caught it quickly after.
Great video as always :) It honestly doesn't matter how you play a game method wise as long as you enjoy it! That's the whole point of a game to begin with. If you don't enjoy it, why play it lol. I also beat Journey of the Prairie King that way, altho I'll attempt to do it normally eventually xD

i'm so happy you're back and posting stardew content!!!! your channel is how i got into stardew (and as a result ended up with 500+ hours in the game) so i'm so excited!! can't wait for more long form content from you!!
Seanie, I feel the way you feel about the glacier fish about the crimson fish. It took me so long to get and I got super close about 4 times. When I finally caught it I put it up on a sign (😅)to bake out in the sun for all of eternity 😂
tbh even as a player who is cracked at fishing, the glacier fish is by far the hardest of the legendary fish just because of his speed. the best way to catch him that I know of is to use the iridium pole, slap on the tackle that makes the fish progress bar decrease slower, and then use fast clicking to "hold" the bar up with out pressing so you can react faster if you need to quickly go up or down
I recently found your channel while playing through Stardew Valley again myself and I've become OBSESSED. So glad you posted this cause I ran out of videos to watch lol
I had to record the "Simon says" puzzle on my phone and pause the game, write down the order and then do it. It was driving me nuts. Awesome video ✌️❤️
I got emotional at 36:52. You really articulated perfectly what makes the world of Stardew Valley so special, and why I always found Sam's 14 heart event so touching.
35:44 How did that not lead you to crafting a Trap Bobber??? It makes them escape slower so you have more time to match the green bar with the fish before it escapes, it's the absolute best for difficult fish 😭 37:44 What did I just say??? Lmfao
I love how you were worried of your straight male viewers being alienated by your love of midnight jellies, but were entirely unconcerned about the Omnipotent Nom fanart. Part of the reason I subscribed tbh
22:21 his happened to me the time i went to the desert with nothing but a sword and a pickaxe and a few trees and branches blocked me off from getting to my house
I’m not done the video yet but you’re so entertaining. I actually laughed when you couldn’t catch that one fish and went to say a motivational monologue. (I don’t play Stardew Valley at all but I still loved this video!)
this is gonna sound mean but i’m SO glad the glacier fish gave you so much trouble. it’s my least favorite legendary fish. it’s my least favorite FISH. and EVERY video i’ve seen with it breezes past it. I’ve spent multiple in game days trying to get it. i’ve caught it once in my whole stardew career.
I actually like crab pots. When they are in a straight line, they are relatively easy to refill and both the level 10 professions are useful. I like that it's an alternative money making path for people who just absolutly hate the fishing mini game.
Your pokemon joke with clay had me researching why everyone thinks Elesa was her mother for an hour, ranting to my friend about it like a basement dwelling redditor for half an hour, then remembering I had a video to watch.
This is genuinely so impressive. I’ve been obsessed with Stardew for years and I’m still not able to do things like this because there’s so much to keep track of!!! But that’s why I will forever love this game, it just never gets old.
Tomato is a fruit by scientific classification (it has seeds inside) and a vegetable by culinary classification, so you can see the miscommunication. They're both right.
14:34 I actually just got that glitch. After catching a pretty hard fish too, I was heartbroken. My poor super cucumber, lost to the void of 1s and 0s.

this is one of my favorite videos purely because of the script 😭😭 first to pick trapper, island boys, your mom, and all the other bits were so beautifully insane
Your Haboo impression nearly killed me. I laughed too hard while chopping peppers. Too good, man, so mean and accurate 😅
"You think you're subscribed but you're not"
Yeah right- I'm definitely subbed... Holy watermelon I'm not... I apologize Seanie
the anger at the glacierfish is so valid i caught it pretty recently and i almost ripped my hair out while trying it was so frustrating i had less trouble catching the legend
i would’ve never caught the glacier fish without trap bobber 🙏🏼
I don't understand why he spent so long trying to catch it with the trap bobber? Like, that one single item makes the difference between it being either practically impossible or just difficult, which is huge. He finally did use it and caught it quickly after.
Without*
His son too
seeing the part where you get your first stardrop and hear you sing about cut the rope while fanart fades in made me instant sub
I love that you posted this on the same day as the reference at 3:30
Great video as always :) It honestly doesn't matter how you play a game method wise as long as you enjoy it! That's the whole point of a game to begin with. If you don't enjoy it, why play it lol. I also beat Journey of the Prairie King that way, altho I'll attempt to do it normally eventually xD
i really enjoy the commentary over gameplay videos! your humor really works with this kind of content, so as long as you enjoy this sort of thing, keep it up big man !
edit: mario party 8 is the BEST mario party but also the easiest to rage at. I feel your pain
"even though it's not technically required, i'm also gonna achieve perfection"
1.6 update: Bonjour
good thing you got this done before 1.6 cause i cant imagine adding the books and everything on top of fector's challenge and perfection
"I didnt meant to go full somderton on you guys" jesus Christ, too soon
I’m happy with my current level of “disgusting pig”’ness. But excluding the “Your Mom” jokes, you make me laugh so I will subscribe.
i'm so happy you're back and posting stardew content!!!! your channel is how i got into stardew (and as a result ended up with 500+ hours in the game) so i'm so excited!! can't wait for more long form content from you!!
6:10 that loss put you in unfathomable debt, glad you were able to recover quickly.
the rapid fire jokes are getting me everytime, this new format is very nice !! keep up thte great work seanie :D
Seanie, I feel the way you feel about the glacier fish about the crimson fish. It took me so long to get and I got super close about 4 times. When I finally caught it I put it up on a sign (😅)to bake out in the sun for all of eternity 😂
omfg that somerton joke was crazy LMFAO great video!!!
tbh even as a player who is cracked at fishing, the glacier fish is by far the hardest of the legendary fish just because of his speed. the best way to catch him that I know of is to use the iridium pole, slap on the tackle that makes the fish progress bar decrease slower, and then use fast clicking to "hold" the bar up with out pressing so you can react faster if you need to quickly go up or down
I recently found your channel while playing through Stardew Valley again myself and I've become OBSESSED. So glad you posted this cause I ran out of videos to watch lol
Literally me too. I’m tempted to start making videos about stardew just for more videos lmao
preach lol Genuinely thought about making my own lets play, I just don't think I'm interesting enough XD@@theworms-dv2so
1:41. I have actually seen this before. I got a day 1 crop fairy on my save I was playing with my partner Pauline. Absolutely blessed.
It makes them escape slower so you have more time to match the green bar with the fish before it escapes, it's the absolute best for difficult fish 😭
37:44 What did I just say??? Lmfao
I love how you were worried of your straight male viewers being alienated by your love of midnight jellies, but were entirely unconcerned about the Omnipotent Nom fanart. Part of the reason I subscribed tbh
Protip is to fish trash from the mine, especially the lavafloor lake!! 99% trash 1% lava eel
A sponsor from LEGO is actually subscribe worthy
Of all the difficult challenges in the thumbnail, talk to Elliot is definitely the hardest
22:21 his happened to me the time i went to the desert with nothing but a sword and a pickaxe and a few trees and branches blocked me off from getting to my house
“om nom… 🎵omnipotent nom🎵”
does anyone else periodically remember that game from their childhood? just me? ok..
@@spam-el3ee YES HELLO
@@cubisttubist YAY
The amount of references in this video is insanity.
11:55 amazing, the instructions were a bit unclear as I was already subscribed but I didn't want to be rude so I still clicked the button
I’m not done the video yet but you’re so entertaining. I actually laughed when you couldn’t catch that one fish and went to say a motivational monologue. (I don’t play Stardew Valley at all but I still loved this video!)
Talking to Elliot is a challenge?
I guess that’s from the one heart event
A certain event on a boat
this is gonna sound mean but i’m SO glad the glacier fish gave you so much trouble. it’s my least favorite legendary fish. it’s my least favorite FISH. and EVERY video i’ve seen with it breezes past it. I’ve spent multiple in game days trying to get it. i’ve caught it once in my whole stardew career.
I am a simple woman, I hear hollow knight ost, I like
I’m absolutely the same, Christopher Larkin is a phenomenal composer
I actually like crab pots. When they are in a straight line, they are relatively easy to refill and both the level 10 professions are useful. I like that it's an alternative money making path for people who just absolutly hate the fishing mini game.
14:35 I think you might have animation cancelled at the same time as "collecting" the fish
I think so as well
You sound like a teenager in a cartoon who's actually voiced by an adult woman
this comment killed me 😭
Your pokemon joke with clay had me researching why everyone thinks Elesa was her mother for an hour, ranting to my friend about it like a basement dwelling redditor for half an hour, then remembering I had a video to watch.
Corn takes it a step further: a vegetable, a fruit, and a grain all at once
I never thought about that!
14:34 I actually just got that glitch. After catching a pretty hard fish too, I was heartbroken. My poor super cucumber, lost to the void of 1s and 0s.
this man cud of landed on the moon with only a toothpick but went with the harder option of 100% Stardew, keep going king
I've watched like 5-6 videos about 100% completion but yours is my favorite so far and I loved what you said about SV being like an old friend, that's how I feel and I always come back to it 💚 1.6 is going to be so awesome!
