Yea, i recently reinstalled my OS i used polish version (thats where i live) and half of the installer was english and installation took TWICE compared to what was previously Also used Rufus so i didnt need to login with MS account
@@muhammaddevandra9983 no there are more changes. There are taskbar changes, new start menu features, explorer changes, sudo for Windows 11, graphics settings UI has been updated, and of course new setup interface

When I installed windows 11 24h2 on my laptop using the iso I realised that it’s the same as the installation assistant when your upgrade when you have windows installed and when it says ready to install there’s a button that says check device specifications and when you click it it tries to open a web link but there is no web browser in the windows setup environment so it has an error

Hello. To make rufus work with 24H2, you must download the latest Rufus 4.6 beta. Otherwise, removing the requirement for 4gb and tpm 2.0 and the others does not work. I first tried with rufus 4.5 and it didn't work. with rufus 4.6 beta it worked and it was the smoothest and most hassle-free update I've ever done. no questions about anything, only as a normal win 11 update
12 years after removing Aero (Windows 8), Microsoft is still too lazy to get rid of the Aero Basic style in the first stage of the installer.
If it works, don't fix it.
They probably won't bother to change the basic theme inside aero.msstyles as they're pushing UWP/WinUI/etc
The Windows 7 Basic theme is also still present when using MDI

@kitten7466 There are commands and registry entries allows it. Rufus has also states they only use options Windows offers.
just skip wifi or unplug Ethernet during setup works a treat
@@electronicsfixer On 24h2 its no longer works. It stops and requests you to plug it in or connect to a wifi, no skip option.

I'll wait until November or December of this year or until 2025 to upgrade to Windows 11 24H2, in the meantime I'll stick with Windows 11 23H2

does 24h2 still have the popcnt rule. if the cpu isnt supported by windows does it brick it? my cpu has sse4.2 but isnt an officially supported cpu
PCs without POPCNT and SSE4.2 will stuck at boot screen
