Love it how it's mostly Bonnie's performance however all the comments are focused on Rory and his amazing talent. I am thankful for the internet and access to the information it gives. If not for the Internet, I would never know that Rory and his backing up vocals/harmonics were behind so many songs that I love.
Let's bow our heads and bless the memory of Jim Steinman - who wrote this and about 2 dozen other great songs for a slew of other artists.

Je suis tout à fait d'accord ! Elle vieilli mais sa n'empêche pas qu'elle continue à chanter en live à 72 ans ! Sa voix a changé c'est un fait ! Mais je ressens malgré tout l'émotion qu'elle ressens en chantant 40 ans après ce titre ! Après cette performance du Grammys Awards et fabuleuse même si la chanson est raccourci de moitié, elle donne tout malgré la grosse anxiété qu'elle avait se soir là ! Mais elle a tout déchirer ! Rory Dodd présent se soir là, c'est lui qui avait enregistré la voix en vedette masculine ainsi que les chœurs en studio était également très stressé ! Il a chanté des chansons en solo et fourni beaucoup de chœur et chant de soutien pour Steinman et Meatloaf mais rarement en performance live. Il hésité mais Steinman lui a dit qu'il fallait les deux pour la représentation ! D'ailleurs après le pont lorsqu'il descend prendre le bras à Bonnie pour chanter le dernier refrain il aurait du rester face a elle jusqu'au bout mais il ne voulait pas être en pleine lumière au centre de l'attention d'où le fait qu'il se met en arrière tout en continuent de chanter certaines parties avec Bonnie qui malgré tout ce tourne face lui par moment ! Très belle représentation dès deux chanteurs ! Malgré leur stresse ils fournissent une belle performance !

Les deux se sont surpasser sur cette performance ! Bonnie la chante presque aussi bien que la version studio et Rory Dodd qui est sans doute la seule fois qu'il à chanté en direct avec elle la chanson ! Ses chœurs et son "Turn around bright eyes" sonne encore mieux en direct.

Finally an actual live performance and not lip sync. Bonny has such a powerful voice and she can belt it out. The worst thing about the eighties and nineties is having artist in their prime not sing their greatest hit live. Can you imagine Kelly Clarkson or Adel lip sync? it's a crime.

The missing part can be heard on the full original track but the radio edit that Bonnie sings here was probably down to stage performance time at the Grammy's. The full original single was about 6.5mins long. I do love the extended version 👍
