for tyre pressure, if you have factory function, can support and show, if you dont have the factory setting then it will not display
if you get an error from the installation, try and clear with an odb2 scanner tool

no but u can set ur own which works the same ... assets plus is a basic indicator as well... u can reser it yourself anytime so it does work the same way if u really think about it
It's a good concept, but for the price, it would need to bring more to the party for me!
How about some video inputs to link to cameras on the mirrors that come on when signalling or a rear view camera when reversing?
An obd2 connection to real-time monitor engine pressures, temperatures, etc....

ye I kinda agree... with reverse camera and 4
360 camera that would connect to your stereo unit..with the 12.3 inch Android u are able to connect all those things now.. even tpms..but its a shame it doesn't support bt gps navigation like the actual digital ones..that would be much better ..
This looks really cool. My feedback would be: Let all words and letters be in full capital letters. I think this would look much more professional. It looks like there is an awkward mix of somethings being capitalized and others aren't.

Really hyped about this, because I'm having some issue's with my analog speedometer.
it is designed for it... as mine is 2010 w204 prefacelift.. however I'm going to be honest and say I've heard some news about certain things not qorking once installed...such as radio lights centre console unit and door lights... I don't seem to have this issue but I've been hearing about this ..u can also see in the comments ppl havebeen complaining about it.

I see that it also does not have Parktronic or the active assistant to park itself incorporated. When will this update be released? as well as being able to show maps, GPS and Bluetooth?
That ain't never getting released. How you see it is how it'll be. They can't even change the damn font
ye its a shame, its not for everyone in the end esp deisel cars... and bt and gps and music will.never be displayed... this is the cons of using this cluster .. they can only do so much..I have already seen other big sellers selling the same item..and this is how it's gonna be ... as for parking assistance I don't think that's possible... only adaptive cruise and lane keep assist available
It looks good but it lacks some of the very important functions to maintaining and supporting the functionality of the W204. However, I'm sure there is a competitor that has noticed and either has or is working on a product that includes everything with more features.

this we talked with software guys, not decide to do a diesel speed & rev cause now design is more than the max of diesel, so can show, however, will see if will make, BUT NOW not have

Do the Assyst Plus service reminders/warnings appear still? E.g. will it say “RH Headlight” if a bulb is out - or are the stock features cut?
im not too sure about this however you are able to set the service reminder yourself now so i guess its almost the same as setting it to remind you the same time as the asssyt plus, for eg, if the assyst plus said next service in 10,000kms, you could set that reminder on the service indicator of the new cluster and be reminded that way, i will have to check that out asap..good question

Mikey, I heard that facelift steering wheel can't be fitted to a prefacelift? Cos the paddles are in a different position. How did you manage that
it 100% can.. some ppl even plug and play them with the clockspring ... but mine had to be rewired to work
@MIKEYZVLOGZ what can I go ahead and buy a facelift steering then? For my preface lift and it'll plug and play? The difference in the wheels is like day and night, facelift looks way more sporty

one thing i noticed in this video - is that the engine light comes on and flashes very quickly (26:24) , but earlier in the video the engine light was off?

ye so the engine light comes on like any car when u turn the key to acc all lights show but it does turn off wen u start the car .. it does work properly
@MIKEYZVLOGS how can I set the ambient lights? I got the same closter but the ambien lights are not working
u can only set that in the new cars ..if u don't have that function on your car u won't automatically have it
@@MIKEYZVLOGZ yes, with the dimmer I can control that, but the lighs of the dashboard and the dors are not working. I cant find any option in the closter to make it works :/ thats my cuestion... :(

the redcounter starts from 5500 rpm not at 6500, as the original. Also the coolant temp is up till 130 degrees, not 120 as original.

Yer they really need to get that rev counter sorted. For diesel cars the red line starts at just over 4!
If they can sort that then they will get more people interested. I've already purchased one, but wish I'd seen this before
Its not a total deal breaker, but when you're paying like $600, it SHOULD be correct and show proper information

ok so from my understanding u can either have a boot logo or not... I think wen u choose to remove the amg logo via the update it also removes the mercedes welcome logo... I will confirm with the seller..

I want to see how this react in the cold environment I got a real bad experience with my Android stereo upgrade every time it was getting real cold I turn on my car from inside the house whit my after market remote start it used to ge stuck in the OneLove demo sound at full blast, My neighbors thought my car it was possessed I had to put the original one right back on.🤣🔥

hi I don't understand because it didn't happen to mine... I know someone else who had a similar problem and wen he went back to the old cluster it was all fine... in this situation if it's the cluster causing the problem ..there's something wrong with the way it syncs to the car ... its wierd I know but I don't know how else to explain it
also I think the new ones with new update got rid of the amg logo... I actually didn't want amg logo either

now just a few little things left. they also give u the option of no amg logo now for those like me who don't want amg logo... and also other updates like how to remove rest coffee cup ☕️ for those who don't have that feature

atm they haven't made the right hand drive surrounding bezel for the facelift version ...they need to do that first...as u know facelift models have that surround that goes from the cluster to the screen in the middle... and because they don't have it u can't really install it as it would look funny... with a surround..eventhough the left hand drive have it already

u need to ask your seller if the cluster can display thT info..for the mikage..u can set it..but usually requires a pin code..u need to ask your manufacturer or seller ..for mine it was in factory menu and 0168

its shown in a short i did, basically you goto setting and enter a code, and then u are able to set the milage

I'm so sorrynto say that I've heard of this happening with. retain models ..it is a real shame that it's not compatible with all models ... I've had a fellow subscriber also have this happened when they installed it ...the door leds a d dash leds no longer worked and his dash as well ... I don't understand why this happens as my car is able to retrofit fine and everything still works as it's suppose to ...imo it seems it only works on specific models..which is a shame because it's meant to be compatible to all models ...I'll will ask about this too

I wouldn't. e japoy I'd that happened to my car too wen u go back go your normal.cluster is everything ok? try it ..if it is then def the wiring of the cluster is interfering with your lights cross wiring somehow

look it all depends what ur looking for in the upgrade .. if ur ok with looking at your actual stereo screen for bt music tracks and navigation ..which u do anyways..serious u do! ..I do... and I'm not just saying that... and u have a petrol model ..u don't mind it doesn't have certain features then yes it's ok ... its not like they are the only ones..other ppl selling this also have the exact same issues..no btno music no navigation on cluster ... errors are written abut different such as indicators signal error is written like Chinese word for word translation..something like the human light indicates its notnworking ..blah blah nmah ... I. my honest opinion I really don't mind it... but that's just me... u need to weight the pros and cons and see if it's worth it for u ..I can't tell u if it's worth it as we might want different things and have different needs in a cluster ..all I wanted was that it works..shows odometer.. every typical function works like seat belt warning high Beam parking lights dipped beam lights..srs ...bas .. all that stuff..and it does so I'm actually impressed..if u have diesel forget about it ... cuz u won't get the matching revs

They should have put navigation on the cluster. Just like audi. I would have brought it they had navigation on the screen
I know ..unfortunately not possible ..however if u think about it u use the navigation on your normal screen

ye unfortunately it wasn't designed for diesel..although it can show diesel speed and gears but rev won't match

Well, it's a shame that it can't show parktronic or active parking assistant. For me, it's a very negative point, just like GPS, Bluetooth, radio, etc. average in general and if you say that it will never be achieved then very bad

How does the new cluster know the miles of the vehicle?
I don't know as I'm not an engineer or software creator buy if I had to guess .. it reads the latest data from ecu and shows it on the odometer ... this is my guess..hopefully they will answer Ur question shortly
how it read we not know, not ask software guys, but cluster can auto-read the number always, if not, enter setting-factory-0168-set it manually, then done too
and regardless u can alwaya set the milage so thats a good sign at least..

How do you program the real milage on this cluster?
you go into factory sub menu and enter 0168 and it allows u to enter odometer and match your actual milage..I'll be doing a short on it very soon

yes there is ..there are already updates for this cluster and u can set km ot mph via the factory sub tab

yes sure can..butmost w204 have a button
@@MIKEYZVLOGZ for sure. But i have a C207 and the button doesnt work when i use the esp menu in the cluster (oem cluster)
ok so if your car has the option to turn off the esp from cluster u can do it ..if not and it's like mine where u have a physical button to press and esp turns off then ..using cluster will not work
just like all the other functions...if your car doesn't have the function from factory ..it will not automatically have the function or setting just because you changed cluster ..I hope that clears it up for u friend

with new update i think they got rid of ther amg logo now and the Mercedes welcome logo too its just the welcome screen with the car front pic... they are trying to accommodate for everyone , and its very strange that ppl are complaining about lights not working becuz mine is still all working u can see in my new shorts the lights all work still for radio unit , there must be a bug in the update i haven't had any of those issues and i will do a short to show all this tonite, just to show that i am being honest and transparent about it, i am not sponsored by the company in anyway i simply did a collab with them they do not pay me to do these reviews , i do these for the good of my subscribers and so ppl can get an honest review ab out the item
but if for some reason you are having problems with lights not working and issues with electronics, u need to contact them directly and sort it out, cuz that is not a product that matches your needs. n i would personally return it myself, but as u can see im still using it cuz everything is fine

Looked at the website for details on this display. It is lacking the functionality from the original dash display. Definitely not worth the money

looks like a waste of money. You don't really get any new features. Also the cluster has typo's, weird capitalization of some words, not enough themes for different looks of the dash and the ones pre-installed, don't look great. I searched for digital clusters for w204 after seeing some videos of digital cluster mods for e90 bmw's. Digital clusters for e90 bmw's look nicer than this.
I can respect that. everyone is entitled to their opinion. all that stuff with typo etc is all getting fixed. and all upper case is being used now..I just got the first update will do the short showing all this soon
the ones for the BMW have a much better font and overall appearance - ***however - the BMW ones aren't without their share of issues too - one being the loss of factory HUD. But they do look so much better
If Carlife-Mall took the time to sort out all the small details, i.e FONT, SPELLING, REVs showing correct data (redline etc), then this would actually be reasonably good value.
