Also , I'm not sure if that short amount of time ruined my gasket but in case it did, would it be okay to use high temp liquid gasket because I have a tube of that sitting around and I can't really afford to wait for a new gasket to show up because I use my scooter for work. I'm in the hospital right now for probably 4 or 5 days but as soon as I walk out of here I'm going back to work on that scooter. Thanks for any help you can give.
@@Mr.FLOYDs i went ahead and said fk it and bought the one in your description link along w a new gasket. Last thing I want to do is get home from the hospital, tear this thing down in the blazing Florida weather, and find out the POS starter clutch that rip-off GY6store on eBay told me is much is so good has gone bas in 2 days😡. I just had to file a dispute with them because they tried to rip me off and keep my money but not return my item after agreeing to refund if i bought another one cause the first got stck in the USPS wormhole 😔😆
To b specific I found out about this clutch on a JONWAY odd looking scooter that I destroyed the engine at 5k miles. I then put this clutch on a TaoTao lancer that had over 3 engine upgrades all with this clutch swap at start and the mileage on that scooter when I sold it was around 8,000 miles (not in kilometers). So that’s 8+5=13. Still was working in top notch spinning. Heck even now I have a Lifan V16 that’s 12,284 which is working perfectly but that clutch by far was my most used engine piece on any bikes I’ve own to date. Though that record will soon b over within the next few months and that Lifan V16 will b the first since that clutch.

Buy a new gasket. Don’t b cheap because that’s when reality will hit u even harder.
