My husband and I with our 3 kids visited San Antonio for the first time last week because we are planning to move there soon. I was guided by your videos and we visited Stone Oak and Encino Park! Fell in love with the whole area! Our next move is once our house sells we feel we need to take another trip out there and rent for a few months then buy. Ideally we'd like to rent in the same neighborhood as when we buy. We'd love to reach out to you for guidance:)

Hello, Im currently living with my family in central Florida. I have been watching your videos, great videos man, I am thinking about visiting San Antonio to check it out. I was born and raised in Tampa FL and moved & lived in Southern California (Los Angeles & San Diego) for 6 years (military) . I saw a lot of the homes in San Antonio that look like you an get more for your money. The home prices here are getting really expensive. The humidity here I’m wondering if it’s worse than the humidity in Texas.
Love the videos! My husband and I live in Utah and are starting to research moving to San Antonio within the next year or two. Thanks for all the great info!
Hi! Nice videos! My husband and I are relocating to San Antonio in May due to his upcoming retirement from the military. Your videos are very helpful and we will more than likely need help trying to find a home in either Helotes, Stillwater Ranch, or wherever decent, affordable homes are available. We know that so many people are moving there and want to avoid additional stress of bid wars on multiple homes before actually finding a home for our family. Jobs are also a concern since I am in IT...my hubby is looking into IT as well. I heard lately, like Austin, San Antonio is also becoming another Silicone Valley!
Hey, thank for the comment! We've been working with a lot of military in and nearing retirement explore the city to find the right neighborhood. There's definitely a lot of opportunity here with IT and cyber security as well. Would you be open to a quick call to discuss things further?
@@SanAntonioTexasLiving Sure. What day and time next week would work best? During my work week, I can reach out during my lunch break within a 30 between 12 - 2:30 PM EST. Thanks!
Well done i like the overall picture you give for each neighborhood and an example of a home. I will definitely keep you in mind as I am looking for a retirement home.
@@SanAntonioTexasLiving Both actually! My mother recently moved from Columbus, Ohio to Austin, TX and my family will be moving from Columbus to San Antonio to be close. After watching your videos I have been looking at the far west side. The schools and homes look amazing!
My family and I love living in the Far West Side! We'd be happy to connect prior to your trip to help with planning your search. Were you open to a quick call sometime in the next week?
Great video! I especially LOVED the home shown in Encino Park built in 1985!! My family plans to purchase there soon, is that home on the market or can you recommend others like it please?
Hey, thanks for the comment! That home has sold since the video was released, although we'd be happy to help you with finding others like it. Have you connected with anyone yet to help with navigating the market?
Can you make a video or just answer the comment on what you think of certain areas? My wife and I just bought a home in Shavano Park and would like to know what you think?
I'm a real estate investor here in San Antonio, and I'm looking for real estate agents I can work with to find distressed properties. My question at this time is, what areas of San Antonio have investor activity, or cash activity?
We've worked with investors primarily in Converse, Universal City, inside Loop 410, and in neighborhoods adjacent to downtown. Those areas tend to have the most potential for value add rehabs.
That info isn't available via MLS. We'd be happy to chat if you'd like to have a more in depth conversation about the investment opportunities in the area.
Hi I’m thinking about accepting a job at Lackland. What areas should I look for that are safe and will possibly offer the ability to have some land over 1 acres?
For a larger acreage lot with a decent commute to Lackland you'll want to look into Castroville, the Medina Lake area, and parts of Helotes. When would you be moving if you accepted the job?
@@SanAntonioTexasLiving sounds good, will do! There are so many new neighborhoods popping up along i10 between Boerne & San Antonio that it shouldn't be difficult to find a house. 🙂 We're looking in the $350-450k range so this video was definitely helpful.
Quick question if you don't mind. While looking at houses, I've noticed that a LOT of them under $400-$450k have brick or stucco on the front and sides, but have hardie plank on the back. Here in Houston, you usually don't see that unless you're looking at houses that are under ~$250k. Is there any reason in particular for that? I wasn't sure if it had anything to do with the climate in SA vs Houston, or if it's just the builders trying to save money.
Hey, thanks for watching! Most of the new homes are further North above Stone Oak along Hwy 281 or further NW along IH-10. Were you mainly checking out new construction?
Oh cool, so you already know how nice it is up there! We've worked with a lot of folks looking in the Far North Side. When were you hoping to find the right home?
