Thank you for watching, liking, and loving. I just adore you.
still here. :)
Us too ❤
Glad to see you again ❤️
I love YOU
Lisa ……your presence online is so important……this online family is strong and supporting each other in good and bad times…..love you all❤
Don’t stop UA-cam because of your age. It’s so refreshing seeing you and hearing your perspective. I support whatever you gotta do for you. But realize too that UA-cam viewers are also getting older. I love and appreciate your honesty, especially around motherhood. It’s so relatable for me.
Burnout is absolutely real. Being a mommy is exhausting
you get it.
@@lisbug Absolutely I have 2 boys myself. Granted mine aren't babies anymore but I know exactly what you are going thru.
I feel this 100%!
You yapping in the car is so relatable!!
love that for us.
Kinda love this format. Ranting in the backseat of the car is a vibe.
It's okay not to love the newborn or baby stage! It's a big change and adjustment. I also didn't connect to either of my children until they started showing their personalities. So far my favorite stage is anything passed 1 years old and I'm not afraid to admit that.
My daughter is a day younger than yours, and I relate so much! I also call BS on the moms that appear to be doing it all. We all have 24 hours in a day, and two thirds of those hours are spent taking care of baby and working.
You get it!! Also love our girls being a day a part!
Love the raw honesty
It’s truly all I got. Glad you get it
Super happy to see you back ❤ here is a different outlook on UA-cam & age. When the comment of, "when I turn 40, I'll stop UA-cam" was originally made, was many many years ago. Times where different back then. UA-cam majority was of the "young" crowd, or at least the popular UA-camrs. But times have changed, the viewers have grown in age just like the UA-camrs. I myself am in a job, that when I started, I thought I'd be aged out at 25-30. But I had that outlook when I started.... 14 years ago, when I was 19. Back then, it wasn't common for an older age. But times have changed. And now I see no time end like that. You gotta remember, when you age, so does everyone else ❤
Hi Lisa! I just want to say don’t feel any pressure on uploading or think that you have to say goodbye to UA-cam. Upload whenever you feel it. I’m happy to see your videos whether it’s weekly or only every couple months. I’ve been watching you for almost 10 years. I’ll still be here and so will so many other people. Love you ❤️
I am old, so I know you are real and right about a lot of things under the heading womanhood and motherhood.
I hope you continue to share your experiences - signed, a much, much older mom.
Thank you for your brutal honesty! My kiddo is severely autistic and nonverbal and motherhood looks NOTHING like I thought or like anyone else speaks about. It’s hard!! So so hard. Thank
You ❤ so here for this!!
Car vlog, yes!! Please don’t leave UA-cam, us grown ladies need people our own age who we can relate to 😅🙏🏼
It took me four months to connect with my baby and two years for it to feel "easier." And there are still moments when it feels so hard but I'm able to work through those moments better. You're not alone 😊
Thanks for your honesty, Lisa
I love what you said about how words stick. Anytime I'm about to do something to change my appearance or I get insecure, I try (emphasis on try) to take a step back and analyze why I'm doing it. Most of the time it's because society said so or it relates to the European beauty standards and I'm like...girl bye. Like I'm soooo insecure about my jaw/chin and sometimes I think about surgery (in the future, I'm 21), but it's genetic. My sister is a weight lifter and has a little chin pudge. Taking a step back and seeing how words and standards effect me helps. I don't need a sharp jawline bc Kylie Jenner has one 🙄.
Okay this was a little vent but this always feels like a safe space. You can quit UA-cam if you want bc your happiness and mental health is most important, HOWEVER, you could always just pop in when you feel like it. 👉🏾👈🏾 No pressure, just vents. Love you always
Lisa, I'm 37 and I love your content, please continue on UA-cam when you can, no pressure, we will be here. Sending love to you and your family from Brazil ❤
Miss your vids so much Lisa!
Also the arm shaving thing is so real, I had a similar thing happen to me and have been shaving them since forever. Kids are so mean lol
Lisa, the mommy bloggers are able to do it because they hire people to help with both their blogging and with their childcare. They definitely are NOT doing it all on their own.
My daughter is a week older than Annie and I’m so grateful for maternity leave, I could not imagine trying to work on top of the crazy ride that is parenthood 😅 thanks for keeping it real, we all need more of that from the interwebs ❤
Same! Mine is a couple months older. :)
I don’t usually comment on UA-cam but damn these words hit my soul, I can relate so deeply with all these feelings. Thank you thank you thank you for the honest and refreshing take on the anxieties of motherhood ❤
“Mind you, i almost died but besides that…” 😅 happy you’re loving it and have found a groove. And appreciate your honesty in sharing your truth!!!
Lisa, first of all, thank you, for making videos. ❤ Here's a thought: as another commentor suggested and as you said: invite other Moms to your car or to a podcast about motherhood. The topic never gets old (no pun intended) and it is kinda therapeutic to talk to other people about their experiences with parenthood. Sending you a big hug from Germany.
Going through my subscription to see who I’m still subscribed to coming across your channel thinking back to my childhood and remembering how much you were apart of my happiness growing up and it’s okay to take a step back if that’s what you need to do you’ve been on UA-cam for so long and you’ve raised a generation of now adults who appreciate you for it
Hey Lisa! Super happy to see a new video from you. Appreciate your real mama insight! So true!!! ❤ I’m here for this (or literally anything)!😂
I did NOT enjoy the newborn stage all at. It got really fun from about 7 months onward for me personally. My daughter is 2.5 now and the toddler stage is awesome and so much fun! Even with the tantrums it's so much easier than the newborn stage for me personally
same!! it's a chaotic guessing game when they're newborns! at least u can try to reason with them when they're toddlers, and they're hilarious! 😝
🫰🫰🫰 yes girl I agree with it all. I love this vibe 💕
love your vibe.
Hi Lisa. I’ve been watching you since you’ve been with Shane. Nowadays whenever you upload, I feel like you’re very frustrated, perhaps angry, depressed and stressed. And that’s more than understandable. This energy feels so strong I almost couldn’t finish the video. I feel bad for you, I do, because this isn’t something that we’re able to plan out in any way shape or form. And I feel sorry that you felt like motherhood was something that you wanted for yourself. That it’s something that you thought was for you. And now, maybe it just isn’t. I hope you find a way to find yourself again.
So happy to see your beautiful face! You've made my day. 💖💖
Mommy bloggers have help and editors and stuff from what I heard. Don’t compare yourself to others bc woman, you are fabulous and a force to be reckoned with!
That's perfectly normal not connecting with your child when they are first born. Your child is essentially a stranger and you are now is the process of getting to know her. I think especially it's harder to connect when you have post partum depression.
I love this!! Thank you for your honesty! Being a mom is the hardest job and it’s not all joy. Sure we love our kids but it’s also not all happy times. I really needed a video like this makes you not feel alone ❤
I appreciate your authenticity!
The first weeks and months can be so tough. I always tell people that some days were so bad that I was like “I either throw her out the window or I throw myself” other days I would fantasize about leaving and not going back. And yes, a lot of people don’t talk about that so it can feel isolating but it got better. It’s still hard but it’s better and I’m finding the time for myself.
On the other note, yes! What people say does stick around sometimes for years and years. I still think of a comment a friend said to me about how I was behind in the job game. And it sucks.
Lots of love
Very much appreciate the honesty!!! Thank you Lisabugg
We need a mommy podcast from you!!!!!!!!
Heck yeah hidden in the car myself before 😂 I'm not the only one
right!?
You age physically inside and you feel it but yeah thats being a parent haha exhaustion will do that too you 😂❤
I feel ya
It's so good to see you posting again and looking so good.
I AM so glad u turned back on the camera! I’m here for the realness of ur story. Pro and con…every birth story is different. Every pregnancy is different. EveryBODY is different 🤷🏼♀️ some people HATE the baby stage. It’s hard and tiring. But it can be amazing. I have 4 and it seems like this last one has given me a run for my money. My first I had at 19 and he’s 18 now. I’m gonna be 38 in December. My oldest 2 are boys and they’re pretty laid back for the most part. My last 2 are girls and my oldest girl is a handful and far too smart for all of our own good. The youngest is like the terrible 2s on steroids….with roid rage 😂 motherhood is a mixed bag. I feel like when ur younger ur less prepared both financially and emotionally. But being older im almost too tired to keep up. I promise tho….u will enjoy it at some point.
Really here for the chaotic energy you brought to this video lisa
Going to the grocery store was my hiding spot when i got a respite.
I could stretch a grocery store run into an hour endeavor.
It's just long enough to find air again. Get my head above water and breath.
It is really, really, really ok to need an hour for yourself. Talk to another person who doesn't need you for anything.
It is ok.
Take whatever you need, exactly when you need it.
My best piece of advice to new parents, start with grandchildren. Lol
It is the most amazing part of parenthood. Being a grandmother. All that love. Where your heart lives with the most important person to you. Your child.
Highly advise grandparenthood. It is so much easier.
Being a parent is slogging in the ditches with vomit running down the back of your shirt. Needing to pee but the baby is crying. So hard.
Do NOT fall for that age nonsense. I know when we look ahead, "old" people look so different to us, but I'm 64 and I'm here to say that you are still the same person you always were and as long as you stay just a little bit immature 😆, you can think and dress and behave as youthfully as you want to. Plus, we need creators who are sticking with it! ❤
Thanks for being real 💛
"Back seat rants with Lisa" with a different guest each week....sounds good to me!
Love you girl.
Watching you Lisa makes me feel great because we are in this together. I have a 2 year old son that just started potty training and had identical boy twins this past November. Now my twins are almost 4 months old. I’m really enjoying taking in the baby stages for my twins right now because I can’t have anymore children. I believe parenting will have its ups and downs and it’s like you have to give yourself credit for trying to be the best parent and also learn to laugh at the little things that really stress you out once in a while. Take one day at a time and at your own pace. I enjoy watching your videos and your content. You are a rockstar! ❤
Yaaas girl! Love this ♥️
Have a great day, Lisa!👍🎉
I honestly missed you. I was thinking about you the other day and hoping you weren’t done with UA-cam for good. Hopefully that sounds parasocial and not creepy. 😅 Obviously the choice is entirely yours, but your stans will be here whenever you can pop in and say hi from the back of your car!
I've really been struggling recently with all the pressure moms have to do it all and be super involved and volunteer and everything. Idk how anyone is doing any of it then they say the kids are only little for a little while and yeah I know but idk how long I can do it all.
We all age as you age. So how can you not still be relevant ❤️. We are all in this together!
Thankyou for hiding in a car with us! Love any vid you want to make xx
Trisha actually consistently keeps talking about how motherhood didn't come natural to her, so maybe you could hit her up and have an exchange about that feeling.
Car vlog 🎸 car vloooog 😊
LOVE
mommies hiding in cars sippin coffe? yes please.
Yes keep up this episode
haha thanks.
WAIT a second… not wearing socks means we’re old?! *cries in barefoot*
I’m hiding in my car watching this 😅 My car is my favorite place since becoming a mom
Hi! I'm a mom hiding in my car watching this 😂
Im hiding from my toddlers by watching this and feeding my 10 month old. 😂
I take 10 minutes for myself in the car everyday
you get it.
@@lisbug girl I get it all to well. As a mum there's no such thing as alone time lol. I take the long way home, listen to one more song then go back inside.
@@lisbug lets do coffee lol
O no no no nooo, here we go again! Sister you’re getting older, face it with the grace! My second child is in my 40 and yes its like that- less energy and less done things!
You seem so sweet I can’t believe trisha called u boring it’s so mean
You are a lovely and interesting young lady and we would miss you if you were gone.
Some people are built different that’s why LOL
Yay I'm early again ❤ love you so much!!
Yay! Thank you!
I think with a lot of mommy bloggers that they have nanny’s and help. So they are still able to post full time. But you are choosing to spend your time with your baby and prioritize that over your content right now. I don’t think anyone can do it all.
🤗🤗🤗
No lol you’re style is still in
If you are too old to produce UA-cam videos, am I too old to watch?? 🤔
I love u
You can rent clothes? Why haven’t I heard of this!?
Oh dear, just stop.
oh dear.
I can really relate to you not enjoying it at first. We really mourn the lives we had before kids. Maybe especially those of us who have had them “later in life”.
It’s also okay and normal if certain stages just aren’t for you. 🤍
