I did it in Paris. He just wanted me to sit in one spot and rev the engine. When I started driving down a road and put my foot down ever so slightly, he got super pissed and wanted me to pull over. Waste of time and money
Yea I’ve done this before when I was a kid with my dad on a business trip there they let you drive a lap or two and then he says switch and does a quick pull to show a little bit of the power then he goes back and drops you off, fun little experience and affordable to the average travel and family
It's not that hard as you think. If you together with 2others would work for 1year and save all your money you could buy that old Ferrari and rent it out until you all got your money back. But most western people are indoctrinated to not do these things and to only fight with each other over nothing. And just using shortlease and renting everything instead of owning
I was in Italy and I was offered a free test drive in a red Ferrari California T twin turbo convertible. I said the guy how do keep locals from going for joy rides and he said they don’t let Italians drive them 😂. I did buy that exact car when I got back to the states.
Right on man cheers. Not sure they just offer anyone to drive a Ferrari or Lambo for free but glad that you got to and that it inspired you to purchase your own upon your return!
I DID THIS! My uncle paid for me and my cousin to drive a Ferrari California by these guys in the heart of Paris! Was like 3/4 miles but so worth it!! I was 20 ripping around in a Ferrari!!!!
That’s smart cause most people don’t want to pay too much they just want to drive it for a bit and take pics and say they drove an exotic car ! So at say €99 it’s affordable and since it’s only for a short drive you can have more people doing it and less chance of them wrecking it and make more money! I would do it that way instead of paying more than $1000 per day and up
Or- You rent one for 2 days for 1k a day. Then you offer 20 minute rides for $100 each. Let's say you sell 20 rides each day. That's 2k profit in 2 days. Highly illegal though (obviously)
Some years ago I saw pics of people i know with those red Ferraris in Paris at the Notre Dame, they cut the part of with the numbers stickers on the car, to not show that they rented it for 1minute🤣
@@russianbot842 that can be legal if you negotiate with alot of companys, but i noticed that they want a very expensive share insurance if you rent the car out..
My uncle holds car shows at his warehouse, and he rents out time in some muscle cars. They get to drive around the building about a 5 minute drive. Costs about 50 to 75 dollars. All the cars are automatic transmissions and the people driving have a bunch of rules to follow.
I did this in a lambo. Top down, Eiffel tower in the background. We even drove through a bridge tunnel to hear the exhaust. I still have a video of it. Good times.
Or..... You can just raffle them off.... 500 a ticket, 1000 tickets. Everyone has a 1 in 1000 chance of winning, and if you hook up with a charity you only have give them a small percentage and you'll get free advertising.
Well if you think about it, if a tourist wrecks the car. That's not going over well. Considering you don't have to sign a liability form etc.. high risk tbh for the car owners
Lmao. A friend got driven around in a Lambo in Paris for 20 min and payed 200€. Same gig. He was happy but I felt like it was excessively easy money for the guys owning the car
I think that you can get that same amount of $ by doing the same on a classically restored vintage car such as a Renault 4 / Peugeot 404 / Citroen DS. The cost of maintenance is super low compared to the Ferrari and people would still get that smile - although, those cars are all manual transmission for the most part - the DS is a weird transmission.
I did this in Paris a couple of years ago and the Ferrari California broke down after about 10 mins. They gave me the Gallardo then which i much preferred. Seemed like a very dodgy business I was 19 at the time (they didn’t care) and they didn’t ask for any deposit. They did however get you to sign a form which says you will be €5,000 if anything happens to the car.
Its all good rigjt up to the point where the tourist runs over a pedestrian and we all find out the insurance company wont cover the liability because they rented out their car. Brrrriliant!
Is Camden, NJ as bad as people say it is? I recently went to the US and was in Philadelphia for the last part of my trip and all the locals told me Camden is really dangerous
Hi Allstate? Yeah I’d like the rate, on letting American tourists likely buzzing on wine, drive an extremely expensive super car around for 20 minutes right near one of the largest tourist areas in the world who have probably never driven in Europe before??…..😂😂

Try and keep a Ferrari intact in a place like Paris. Especially with inexperienced tourists driving it. Might be totaled within hours.
There is a risk that even a licensed driver can damage your Ferrari which is not necessarily always taken care by insurance !!
...until you have to pay for the burnt-up dual clutch from tourists riding the clutch. lol!
