After six months in the making, the 26-page coalition agreement proposes to “deport people without a valid residence permit as much as possible, even forcibly”. Monte Francis reports.

When we left the union, the immigration numbers worsened, this time the bulk of these people were coming from Africa, the middle east and south asia, with cultures vastly different from our own, hate western values and many of whom are not working/have the intention to work. There is something darkly humourous about it. That said, it's likely to end up very bloody in the coming decades, when a particular ideological religious sect decide they're going to take over. It's inevitable

Dutch immigrants from either Islamic (religious) backgrounds as wel as non Islamic immigrants from the middle east have an average of 2.4 times as many children as native (caucasian) Dutch citizens. Give it maximum 100 years and you and your white atheist/christians friends are in the minority. This will influence politics as well and your country wont be the same in 200 years.

There's no new government yet, just a coalition agreement in anticipation of forming a new government. I predict it won't be a long-lasting coalition government either, since it's amateur hour now. The key parties lack experience at governing, and with their opposition instincts, they're bound to shoot themselves in the foot sooner or later. It's just a matter of time before a motion of no confidence will bring it down.
There is no new government yet. They still have to find enough morons who are willing to take part in it.

Asylum is for people who are genuinely under the threat of being persecuted without a valid trial. It is not for illegal economic migrants who want to enjoy a free ride out of tax payer's money.

I don't believe there is "Far Right" in Europe and the west - yet. But, and it's a big but, if peoples disquiet is continued to be ignored, the Far Right will emerge. Now is the time to act, adopt centralist views before anger takes hold and we drift to a place we could have avoided. The directions are in the hands of the politicians, but are they listening?

The result: more than 61.54% of the population voted against the Netherlands' approval of the Constitutional Treaty for Europe. And what has the Dutch government done, ignored it and messed with the Dutch population while the population massively did not want this. Is that a democracy then? A democracy is only a real democracy if it is a direct democracy in which citizens themselves directly influence the legislative process.
